Ingolf, I have been tracking HrP for you in the Campaign Info tab. You all have the maximum number of 3. I do not let take a +8 on the roll because it is kind of too tempting to decide if you use the Hero Point for such a large boost or not depending on the roll result, but the +4 after roll use is fair. You can roll then decide if you use it for a +4 or a reroll.

I can't imagine Diplomacy is useful in hunting dinosaurs, but who knows? ;)

So I know Ingolf rolled to heal me 10 points but we also have the wand and aside from my slow posting (sorry guys) is it too late to walk that back if Ingolf wants to keep his spell slots? I shouldn't need more than two charges and if needed I can CLW myself. That'll teach me to run face first into a dinosaur that could have one-shot me and lead to some interesting and awkward talks about could I still play and what would kind of new character would I have made? ;)

yeah, not sure why it is doing this right now. I have been signing in on an icognito window and it seems to work. it is letting me use my usual password though, haven't had to reset it

It has never been used, that's why I say just save your spells for fun stuff.

Have you tried to remove cookies of the the paizo.com site before trying to log in Adriana?

A trick to know before hand if that is the problem is to open a window in "incognito" mode and try to log in that way. If that works, then it is a cookies problem.

Ingolf bought a small cold iron masterwork longsword in Cashil.

Am I correct that the +1 kukri from the Gol-Garn ruins is medium size? I'm guessing that Jonah is the only one who can use it (size and proficiency).

If you prefer you can hand me a Disguise roll. Remember polymorph spells give you a +10 to Disguise as the intended creature. Distance penalties to Perception will similarly apply.

Also, remember there is a huge bonus to Stealth for being small. So at this level it is a +5 (from Dex and size), but it can grow to +15 once you get access to Beast Shape III :)

As for current scene, it is fine to take a time, discuss and coordinate yourselves, but make sure you follow up without GM feedback, because I will need more concrete actions from everyone in order to advance the gameplay.

First time clearing cache didn't work, second time seems to have done it. catching up now.

Adriana has invisibilty and a decent DEX but nothing in stealth, but it's an option or a backup, a plan B if necessary.

@GM, would Tonny be able to just try to smash some ingredients together for Jonah to attach to his arrow with a Craft (alchemy) check? That might unfortunately be our best bet going forward.

I believe that falls in the realm of class features and feats.

Applying oils and poisons is ok, given the normal drawbacks.

With a good throw roll and a Stealth check (or with a Bluff check to create a distraction) you could use a thunderstone or alchemist fire to cause a distraction, as I think you are suggesting here. It seems creative and easy to rule.

The problem is that Tonny doesn't have either of those items, though Alchemist's Fire looks like it might take only 10 minutes to craft (so 5 with Swift Alchemy). Would that be acceptable?

Sorry, after what happened in the Tar Pits with me rolling initiative, then the party wanting to parley, I did not want to give the impression combat was the only option throwing us again into the Initiative count! :D

Of course, combat is a good way to resolve things here.

So the log in issue seems fine but timing is awful and I'm under state of emergency - Houston is frozen and I haven't had power for 24 hours so me and mine have evacuated temporarily.

If Adriana can make any assists or something I'm all for it, I just haven't put any thought into anything except not freezing. For fun reference, my apartment when we left was at about 48 degrees.

So, the meeting with Chieftain Shathva was just a skill challenge where you had to succeed at 5 skills DC 20 from the list: Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, K. local, K. planes, K. religion, Perform (oratory) and Sense Motive.

I made some spoilers with handmade information as a way of telling you a few skills that were useful in the challenge that you might not have thought otherwise, and I made it without telling you it was a skill challenge or making a list of skills to use. That required more work, but I am satisfied as I think that went in a more interesting way than just asking you to throw a few rolls.

hey all! sorry about my lack of posting lately. I am in Texas and in the middle of this crazy ice storm. we lost power and water for most of the week, just now getting everything back to normal. luckily we avoided any lasting damage so far (burst pipes, trees falling, etc). I will be trying to catch up on all my games today and tomorrow, and as long as we keep our power on I should be back to a normal schedule.

Ingolf is interested in the amulet of natural armor. The armor doesn't help him much (reduces armor check penalty by 1). He's OK at swimming already (+4), so the ring might be best for someone else.

Splits doesn't really need the ring or amulet and cannot use the armor.

I am not kin to accept Take 10 when you already know the DC of the check, and some GM's would tell you that concentrating on a spell (detect magic) is enough of a distraction that you cannot Take 10.

That said, you can retry the check everyday, and tracking unidentified items is quite an unfulfilling task. As such, I have already added the items as identified to the loot list.

Once you are done with the healing, item haggling and RPing, let me know what are your next steps ;)

The Amulet provides an Enhancement Bonus to Natural Armor, the Armor provides an Enhancement Bonus to Armor. They would stack.

Think that you have multiple tracks:

Deflection 0
Dodge 0
Natural Armor 0
Armor 0

Etc.

The tracks exist independently.

@Splits - As much as I love Pathfinder, it's always a pain to remember what does and doesn't stack, as well as how.
