Marta merely snorts and laughs, a rather humorless one though.
"Thank-you but no thank-you. The job is probably all about bureaucracy and politics and I am a woman of action. I'd rather face a hoard of demons." Always a bit literal minded, she corrects herself. "Well, maybe not a hoard. Anyway, all I ask is that I be able to pick and choose which missions I take. Besides, I have nothing against the number 9."

”Oh, I simply couldn’t,” Arnaut demures graciously. ”What would my adoring public think if their favorite star simply disappeared from the night sky without any word or warning? There would be civil unrest, riots, a very public investigation...” He shakes his head, but Eliza catches his wink. ”Some of us are simply more effective in the spotlight - there’s no shame in admitting that. Though it does sound like you’ll need some public relations management, dear Eliza. People do tend to blame the messenger after all. If you ever find yourself in need of a hand - or even just someone to listen - you know you can always find me by following the sounds of swooning.” He bows with a grandiose flourish of his cloak.
