Want to play this awesome adventure Path, this trilogy? Now is your chance.
1. We are not using SFS characters, but you get SFS credit, via story mode.
2. Create a character using any playable race, class, theme. No fliers, unless you actually did unlock a flier in the real SFS, like you the Dragonkin race boon from gming or did get the Barathu during the Alien Archive Event.
3. Level 7 and 22,300 credits to buy what you need, unless the character came from Against the Aeon Thrones, then you can use what you have, even if it wasn't my Against the Aeon Thrones game.
4. Starship combats will be limited to one per book. They will be best of 3 rounds or until one side is defeated, whichever comes first. Game goes on if you lose this, you just lose out on rewards and it may affect the story a little. Winning goes by percentage of HP, not totals, not including shields, so your ship loses all of its shields but you only lose 10/100 HP, so 10%. The enemy ship loses only the port shields but loses 56/200 HP, so 23%, you win the combat.
5. You can slot any boons that you did earn for SFS.
6. Starts September 1st, and I plan to take a vacation from Dming before Thanksgiving week and pick up after Christmas. We'll be done with book 1 by then, though I doubt the whole trilogy. I plan to be done with book 3 before Valentines Day. For those Pathfinder Players out there, that would be rushing it, but I've noticed Starfinder Aps are way shorter than Pathfinder Aps, before you take into account skipping Starship combats.
7. First come first serve and people who played my Against the Aeon Thrones have priority. There are definitely 3 spots available, maybe more. Dot immediately in gameplay and discussion.

I am interested and do not have any SFS characters and have not played this AP though I have run book 1 of Dead Suns. I'll start coming up with a character. I know this is a horror themed adventure, are you going to have a discussion pregame with the selected players about what horror is and is not ok with them? Triggers and such or what level of horror they are comfortable with? Or maybe just a 'this is the level of horror my game will be run at'.

The scenes won't be overly descriptive. Think of RL Stine horror not Stephen King horror.
@Anxa: you get rewards at the end of each book. You gain treasure in the book and can go shopping, but the chronicle for you SFS comes at the very end.

I haven't come up with a backstory yet mainly because I don't know a whole lot about how or where Signal of Screams starts the adventure. Loosely Mallow (Marshmallow...android...get it? I'll see myself out xD) is a Dataphile from the society who loves knowledge and had devoted himself to the study of technologies and magic, fascinated by the higher metaphysics and unknown mysteries to be discovered. Basically very curious and perhaps prone to moral grey areas if it offers knowledge.

Go ahead in Haranum Al-Evess, I'll accept 7, besides someone always seems to drop out, so it won't hurt to have an extra.
To all, go ahead and introduce your characters to each other in Gameplay. Assume you are meeting each other a park for now on Castrovelian.
In Discussion
Player Name
Character Name and SFS number you want credit applied to
Faction (And any boons on that character that would increase the reputation within faction or increase the fame, like improved champions faction boon, etc.)
Day Job
A monster from the Alien Archive 1, 2 or 3 you wish to fight. Maybe the campaign already has it, if not, I'll see what I can do about adding it in there. Be careful what you wish for as you will be level 13 at the end of the trilogy at best, I mean I won't let you fight a Cr 16 creature at level 11, or would I?

As I have never done an adventure for credit, can you clarify if you are looking for these details for the character I will be playing (except for the SFS#) or all all of these details for the SFS character?
Sorry to sound like a dunce here.

If you don't want SFS credit, you need not to worry about any of that.

I'll put together a character ASAP.
I want to make sure I understand, for boons... We can use boons from the character that will get credit for the adventure? Or just their 'Champion' boon?
You may use any boons that your character earning credit does have. Gotta Starship boon, use it. Have a boon that gives +2 diplomacy vs goblins, go ahead and equip it, etc.

Should be level 9, as I forgot to say that. As far as credits go, if there is a credits by level in Starfinder chart use it, otherwise I will use the formula levelsquared times 1000 and at level 9, that is 81000 credits, unless Kreel already has more than that at level 7. In fact if he has more than 49,000 credits with all his stuff combined (7 squared times 1000), then just add 32,000 credits.
