Was going to comment on that, I found it interesting how your characters have all been woman so far.
Oh- JG, I noticed that she had a spice with a specific golorian-centric name. The item itself is fine, but we can assume it's from another place entirely. Let's go with... A city in Seblos, just to add more character for it. Seems like the right sorta region where you can cultivate the peppers for paprika. The name can keep too, for the sake of simplicity.

GM,
Did you want to rename "Calistra's Kindness"?Just in case,
Black Mary

Yeah, I play women slightly more often than guys (about 2/3 female, I'd estimate), and did it here because the idea of an all or mostly female party is always appealing. Part of the reason I went for a small character, beyond simply avoiding the Undersized Mount feat, was the idea of playing a character significantly different to me. In reality I'm a fairly big guy.
The flying lancer build is partially because I've been watching a lot of Fate, and partially because it's a build I've never tried but I really wanna see how it works in comparison to normal mounted combatants. Being Medium-sized and upping mobility with flying should mean it's pretty effective even in relatively small spaces, which has always been the big weakness of Mounted combatants. I did consider changing when I realized SerpentViolet was doing a flying build too, but eh. They're pretty different ideas and characters despite both having flying companions.
I'll change the spice when I do my next audit, sometime after dinner.

No need to change it, we'll juat adjuat it to fit the setting.
Not aure I as your GM feels about y'all having flight capabilities this early on, but I can adapt.
Aarya
In fairness, Aarya's currently the only one who can fly. Mary's mount can't be ridden for several more levels, and mine isn't strong enough to carry another person.
If it does become a problem I can temporarily swap it out, however.
Uret Jet
No no, if it does become an issue, I'll just introduce you to the chevaliers age old weakness... Dungeons.
James "Joyride" Maxwell
You guys have been busy bees...
Happy to be the dude surrounded by "ladies" not a problem.
Uret Jet
No gestalt, but certainly a lot of multiclassing. What is feat tax? It sounds familiar, but I don't really recall.

*Snaps fingers* Ah, this! It's been sometime since I played with the group that used them I had forgotten.
I'll give them some consideration buy no promises.
Aarya
I would vote for a yes on those. While I won't get anything out of them, they are a very effective boost for certain classes and builds.
James "Joyride" Maxwell
Figured I'd ask... they seem to make sense.
Uret Jet
For your characters (and us as players and GM) this will be a lengthy adventure that could span for some time. There is no hard 'deadline' you must stop the curse by, so there will be space for downtime and even sidequests.

I can definitely say they would be very effective for me.
B. MaryP.S. That's 3 votes. I wonder what Rando will say.
Uret Jet
Ah but you forget, as GM I possess the voting power of six individuals ...
Aarya
Doesn't really matter, though. If the Boss doesn't feel like it...
Still, it seems to be popular.
James "Joyride" Maxwell
I was just asking, but it does matter or could a lot. Set aside that you don't need the extra feats.
You don't need to buy Power Attack or Deadly Aim, they are simply options when attacking.

Ah well now I can't adopt them, I'd end up killing one of my own players.

Least someone has my back!
Since you've all weighed in one way or another, I've decided I'll allow the implementation of these rules. We'll keep to just what's written on the blog post for the time being, and I'll have these rules apply to future enemies and monsters as well.

Awesome! I’m grateful. I will try not to ask for a single thing again after this. From me, that’s a lot.
B. MaryP.S. If you were worried about enemy NPCs having free power attack, I can deal with +2 damage when we get it too.
P.P.S. Wait a second. Are we just getting free Power Attack and Deadly Aim? Not as much as I thought.

And because I'm the dad that explains jokes...
You said you'd be "tickled to death" so he'd be killing YOU!
And, it was very funny... Verbal judo of sorts. Hehe...

Huh? So all the rules or not?
Buying my silence alone should be worth it.B. Mary

Just making sure. These rules help me so much I didn’t want to count on them and have the rug pulled out from under me.

P.S. Between background skills and this I'm no longer fretting over not starting at 3rd level. Thnx for both.

That was quite nice actually, I hadn't expected to see side-literature like that. Good to see you two getting into character. If I used hero points, I'd have given you some. Instead, add...
3d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 6) = 9 Gold coins to your inventories, split up. Think of it as tips for your singing at the bar.

That all goes to Emma Jane. Mary owes her and she did the singing.

Well, there's admittedly not much else remains fir me to say unless any of you have mlre more questions. I'm an open book, so long as you don't start digging into things that require knowledge checks.

A random theif manages to steal the rest if your gold.
(Nah nah)
Looking forward to it.

I can't find Shieland on the main map.
Uret Jet
You're spelling it wrong for one, it's 'Sheiland'. Upper right corner of the Southern Continent.
SerpentViolet
Found it. It's nowhere near Imperial Osknia (where Mary now lives) or Elinlitroi (where her mom is from). It's nowhere near anything. How do pirates make a living east of everybody?
It's fairly far from Seblos, who sponsored our ship.
<sigh>
Uret Jet
See, I thought it was a little strange the two of you were cousins yet you lived so far apart.
Anyhow, it's not as if the Channel is completely devoid of piracy either, with that many nations along the water you're gonna have some bad eggs. You still have time to adjust your home nation if you so choose. Could even actually be from Osknia itself, it might even make sense that way. With landwalkers being so heavily discriminated against, I imagine a lot of them may turn to crime.
Aarya
OK, Aarya should be just about done. Feel free to pick apart...if you dare.
Uret Jet
I do dare. I very much dare.
I probably should've asked beforehand- How are you guys doing your HP for second level? For first, please take full HD+Con
Uret Jet
OK, Aarya should be just about done. Feel free to pick apart...if you dare.
I find her very interesting, and a much stronger fighter then I was expecting. Very brutal, though I'm curious about the breakdown of her damage bonus. Can you explain it for me?
I see she has two Favored Class Bonuses, but only her first class can be favored. Half-elves have Multitallented, which would allow them two favored classes.
You speak Meridian, which is indeed common in most areas, but within Ulnswhere and Elinlitroi those you can speak with are limited to mainly merchants. Most commoners will only know Stur. Kinda fits in with her 8 charisma though, doesn't seem like she'd really care.
Nice details about the Mistwood, you've clearly caught onto the fact it was intended to be a more fey location. It certainly has it's druids and forest protectors, though maybe not as much as most woods of it's kind should.
The Verdant animal archetype is cool too, it seems to fit them in some way. Both of them are not quite what they should be. Poetic and fitting.
How does her spirit sense work, does it merely indicate the presence of the listed things, or does it identify which is which? Or is it more like detect alignment, where you have to specify first?
Aarya
I did my second level HP as Half+1+Con, or Society rules. Happy to roll if you prefer.
Yeah, the idea was always more of a combat-focused character than a Druid normally would be - especially one that's given up Wild Shape (although the idea of a bear riding a Roc was hilarious...). I don't think she'll get too much stronger, though - Spirited Charge will boost my damage a fair bit when I get that (triple lance damage instead of the current double) and Horn of the Criosphinx at BAB+6 will let me do double strength on a charge rather than the current 1.5. I could pick up Furious Focus to allow power attacks without affecting my to Hit, too, I guess, which also get doubled (and tripled) on a lance attack. And boosting Strength will up damage.
...eheh. Occasionally things may explode.
The damage listed is for a charge, which should be below it. It's a holdover from the initial character design - always be chargin'. Her standard damage is 1d6 (small lance) +4 (srength) +2 (two handed). Lance attacks double on a charge. Since I don't plan on not charging too often, I forgot to put the normal damage down.
Hmm, I'll swap out a language so I have Ulnswhere as a tongue. I was assuming it was pretty much 'common', but it doesn't make sense that she wouldn't speak her native tongue.
I always forget Multiclass characters don't get FCB to both. I'll knock a point off somewhere.
With a name like 'Mistwood' it seemed likely. I tried to avoid adding too much, as I couldn't find much in the details, but I wanted a Forest nice and close to where things were likely to happen, and that one seemed to fit.
I fell in love with Verdant Archetype as soon as I read it, with images of green, leafy feathers popping straight into my mind. I deliberately left it open how, exactly, that happened (and Aarya's early life) in case you wanna do some sidequesting later.
Spirit Sense functions as Detect Undead, in that it's a 60ft cone I can keep functioning for 1 minute so long as I concentrate, with more details the longer I focus. However, any of the creatures mentioned in the beam will show up - I don't need to specify.
