I am emailing you with one of our favorite parts of Gameday. The details of the GM boons, player boons and gift vouchers of course! And do we have some exciting ones? Thanks for all of your immense patience. Now question and answer time!

HOW DO I GET A RACE BOON AS A GM? DO I HAVE TO ROLL FOR IT?

No rolling required. You just have to finish your table, give your players their chronicle sheets and then report it to our fancy reporting link:

If you are a Boxrunner for PACS, you get an ACG Organizer Boon. If you are GMing both Pathfinder 1E and Starfinder, you get your choice. If you are only GMing in one campaign, you earn the race boon from the campaign where you GMed. When reporting, please let us know in the note field which race boon you earned.

I NOTICED YOU DIDN’T MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT A 2E GM BOON. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

GMs only running PFS2 do not get the boons that PFS1 and SFS get - there is a system already built into the reporting system [AcP] for PFS2 rewards, so those GMs do not get the boons that GMs running PFS1 or SFS are getting. Basically, if you run only PFS2, you only get the AcP reward – no other boon – if you run PFS2 and one-or-the-other of PFS1/SFS then you get the AcP reward for PFS2 and the one “paper” boon for whichever system you ran. If you run all three, PFS2, PFS1, and SFS – you get the AcP reward for PFS2, and then you pick which of the “paper” boons you want for PFS1 and SFS – but you do not get all three – you get AcP + one or the other “paper” boon.

With this being a convention the Achievement Points allocated are in the Premier Event, so GM’s and Players alike will receive more than a standard game.

HOW DO I TELL WHAT PLAYER BOONS WE GET?

Have your players roll a D20, if a player is unavailable you may roll for them. Remember to roll for yourself at the same time. A 19 or 20 wins a boon (Nat 20 for PACS). If you or a player win, do another roll for each winner.

For PACS: There is a single boon, no need to roll.

For PFS: Roll a d3 to determine which one you get.

For Starfinder: Roll a d3 to determine which one you get.

There should be a drop-down the reporting form where you can mark who won what boons.

WHAT IS THE PACS BOON THIS YEAR?

PLAYER BOON:

Stick with Me!: On your check during recovery, check a box that precedes this reward to add 1d6.

ORGANIZER BOON:

Reinvention: Your character has decided to take their training down a new road. Cross off this reward and select a character and a type of feat. That character can reassign all of their feats of that type. If you select power feats, you must assign two power feats to powers that were available before the character earned their role card. If you select card feats, for each card feat you remove, remove a card of that type from your deck; for each card feat you add, add a card of that type from your Class Deck box to your deck using the Hierarchy in the sidebar in the Pathfinder Adventure Card Society Guide; if your character is Tier 3 or higher, you may instead choose a card of the appropriate type that has a level at least 2 lower than your tier.

WHAT ARE THE PFS 1E BOONS THIS YEAR?

PLAYER BOONS:

Seen it Once: Even if your formal education in creature lore is limited, you have a good memory and can quickly recall experiential trivia about common creatures when you encounter them a second time. Whenever you encounter one of the creature types listed below, and either you or an ally identify the creature, you may check the box next to that creature’s name below. When you do so, record the name of one of the creature’s special abilities (breath weapon, damage reduction, resistances, etc.) next to the name. Whenever you encounter and positively identify this creature type in the future, you automatically recall this piece of information; remembering this fact is in addition to any other facts you may remember with a successful Knowledge check.

Moment of Glory: Whether it is by fate, fortune, or circumstance, you are able to tap into a hidden reserve of power at just the right moment to perform a truly extraordinary feat. By activating this boon as a free action, you become a mythic character (1st mythic tier) for 3 rounds. If you fall unconscious due to hit point loss during this time, you automatically stabilize without needing to attempt a Constitution check. In addition, once before this effect ends, you may use the surge mythic ability to increase any d20 roll you just made by rolling 1d6 and adding it to the result. Using the surge is an immediate action taken after the result of the original roll is revealed. This can change the outcome of the roll. When you use this boon, cross it off your Chronicle sheet; however, anytime you successfully complete (earning the maximum possible number of Prestige Points) a scenario that using the “hard mode” option, you may have the GM sign this boon. You may use this boon one additional time for each such signature you receive

Debt to Society: Your constant dedication and service to the Pathfinder Society has earned you considerable recognition and trust. If you have at least 20 Fame and have at least 4 Prestige Points, you may spend all of your remaining Prestige Points to pay for a single casting of raise dead on any ally’s remains including your own while in a settlement with a population of at least 5,000 residents. In each successive scenario, you must spend all Prestige Points earned to repay your debt to the society until you spend a total of 20 Prestige Points, including those you initially spent for the spell. Record the scenario name, date, and initial Prestige Points spent on the first line below. Document future Prestige Point payments on this Chronicle sheet and on each individual Chronicle sheet where the Prestige Points were earned. Once the total Prestige Points recorded below equal 20, your debt is considered paid in full.

WHAT ARE THE SFS 1E BOONS THIS YEAR?

PLAYER BOONS:

1)Possessed Augmentation (Personal Boon): Either before or after joining the Starfinder Society, you received a prosthetic limb to replace one lost in a prior accident. You acquired the limb under dubious circumstances, and it’s never worked right since you got it. The Society performed a magical scan of the augmentation, which revealed a spirit stuck within the limb that was somehow bound to the augmentation prior to its installation. A capricious presence survives within the limb, its exact background and nature something you can determine.

2) Heavy Solar Cannon Upgrade (Starship Boon) You have acquired the technical blueprints to modify one of the weapons aboard your ship into a heavy solar cannon.

3) Relaxation Suite Expansion Bay (Starship Boon) Through contacts and connections, you’ve always got a starship lined up that comes fully equipped with a unique expansion bay. This bay includes a full on-site sauna and spa, along with associated servile robots and various amenities to turn any interstellar journey into a luxurious vacation.

Why yes, I did! As the games are reported in. GM and players alike will be randomly rolled for the chance at winning a $10 Voucher that can be redeemed through the Paizo website for a future purchase. These Vouchers will be distributed after the close of Gameday VIII

Gift Vouchers are now applied to an order after it is made, not stored on paizo.com accounts as occurred with the prior gift certificates. They expire 6 months after a convention. They are stackable.
