I need to pass an Aid Token, but I'm not seeing the spreadsheet for who to pass it to. How do I do this again?
GM PDK
Hi GM Dennis,
Patchwork Allies Secured: just added another success and all Part 2 missions are now showing at 100%
Regards,

This spreadsheet might be the most up to date. Pass the token to someone without a 'C' in their row.
You need to post the aid token block in both the discussion thread for that table and the recruitment thread here. To get the formatting correct you should click 'reply' on the aid token post that was sent to you, remove the "QUOTE" tags, change the name of the table it is going to, add any boost effects, then copy that post and place it in those two locations.

Alright folks, looks like the majority of tables are done or very nearly so. I'm going to start part 3 tomorrow (October 1st). I'll post an updated schedule from there, as well.

Also, rather than do the intermission as written in the scenario, I'd like each of you to please give your players a brief synopsis of what they would have learned at any location they didn't go to.

OK. That's done. I wasn't able to update the spreadsheet, so hopefully someone can get that for me.

Update done. This is a service I am providing the group. I am glad to know some are finding it useful.

And we're on to part 3! You should all have a post from me/Aram Zey in your threads. Please let me know if I somehow missed your table. I'll post an updated schedule, but basically everything is moving up 3 days. Also, you'll want to look at the 'Part 3 Milestone Tracking' tab, rather than the Part 2 tab from here on out.

For the break between Part 2 and 3, the Scenario says:
"Players can also boost any Aid Token in their possession once, and this is an excellent opportunity to pass it to another group."
I'm wondering if all current holders of tokens should perhaps take advantage of this free boosting opportunity and pass it along to other teams?

Yeah, I've nudged them to use it once already (they passed and boosted the previous one quickly), but they seem to be sitting on it. I'll poke them again in a bit.
At this point though, they're swimming in buffs and have been a veritable wrecking ball, so... Don't know that we'll need another aid token anytime soon :).

They can boost and pass without using. Feel free to give them a time limit, too, then just pass it if they don't use it by then. Better to keep those things circulating.

Reported success for G. Astral Giant Invasion. What's next?
Should I have the table continue to fight more astral invaders, reporting additional successes after each encounter?
Or can they choose to fight the undead threat(s)?
GM Lorenzo
|
After reporting a second success against the Astral Invaders, my team has decided to help the Pathfinders fighting off the Undead Hordes.
The status board currently indicates far fewer successes against the undead than against the astral invaders (7 vs 19).
GM Valen
I reported one defeat of undead by my team and, as they were eager to fight more, I anticipate reporting another within about 48 hours.
GM Weenerton

We're on our third undead wave. having a necromancer in the party seems unfair ;)
GM Blazej
My table was on the undead encounters at the start, but after they finished their second encounter, and I saw how the numbers were lining up, I encouraged them to change over to the Astral for at least one fight so they weren't just looping over the same undead encounters.

I had a player drop in Part 3 due to personal reasons. Are they due full credit?
EbonFist
If we finish this part in the next day or two, is the end date going to be recalculated again or are we still going to play it out until the 20th?

I am happily covering GM Batpony's table but have been put on notice that we may lose power for a couple of days. Is one of the backup GMs available to keep an eye out in case that happens? I want to make sure they are not left hanging.
when?
GM Cwethan
Could I get a backup to cover me Friday-Sunday? Backup calendar suggests nightdeath and Fuzzfoot could be free?
GM Numbat
For those asking, power outages started being implemented early this morning. So far we are unaffected. Our area is currently on standby to lose power between noon and 5 pm (west coast). If affected it could be up to a week before we are back online.
The last map I saw showed we should be safe by a few blocks, but who knows?

Speaking of that, my area is also right on the edge of the same power outages. I, too, am listed as being a few blocks outside the outages, but who knows.

BTW, we are two successes from activating the Tapestry's Last Defense condition. Be prepared to end your current encounters when that happens. PCs get two rounds to prepare, then launch them directly into the Phoenix encounter (they also will get the benefit of the Undead Contained condition).

Yeah, my table is still mowing down baddies. Even the odd trick I throw at them to keep it lively they've had no trouble with. It's still fun to watch.
I at least momentarily wrested the necrocultist's undead roper from it with the devourer. It gave them pause :)
GM Auke
I need characters that don't one shot my mooks to have a decent combat. >_>
Hide your mooks? Baykoks are decent snipers and soulstiched ones can even 5 step through walls. As can the devourer. Spectral Hand to deliver all kinds of nastyness from inside the temple, using telepathy with the baykoks to target. (50% misschance, but whatever).

Wow, GM Numbat, rolling blackouts!
I haven't experienced that sort of thing since I lived in Kathmandu, Nepal during the Maoist insurgency.
Palo Alto reminded me of South Asia, too. All the rich folks sipping lattes and 'working' on their tablets and phones in the chic cafes, and all the workers bussing in to do the menial labor early in the morning, and then getting back on the same buses at night to go back to wherever they could afford to live.
Surreal.
Hope everything works out for you.

We've cruised past the total. I'll post the transition tomorrow (Thursday).

I am free.
I'll scan the threads to ensure they'll be covered.
Thanks!
