Roll20 won't open for me so I don't know who is at the door with Runt.

When at least two of the group is assembled at the door with Runt, she casts a SM I and gets a primordial dog and opens the door, ready to burst in.

Since everyone else is hesitating and time is of the essence, Isabella posts her falchion and tries to open the door to let Runt and Rowan in.

Runt casts her spell summoning a primordial dog. Then Isabella with a nod reaches around the corner, actions the latch and throws the door open. As the door swings in it reveals a single goblin. Behind it lays a body and a wall of ovens, presumably for the glass. Other goblins can be heard around the corner. (surprise round for heroes, then roll initiative)

On the other side, Zandril eases open his door to reveal a hall with a single door on the west wall. The hall turns east after fifteen feet. (roll for initiative so we know when you are acting.)

The dog bolts forward and leaps on the goblin with a snarl, echoed by a snarl from Runt herself, who makes her way around the surprised goblin. But neither of them have enough time to actually do any damage yet.

I do not have control over the dog icon so I could not move it.

Isabella moves into the room once everyone else is in and takes up a threatening position with her falchion.

The room is a disaster. Tools lie about amongst broken glass. Molten glass has been spilled here and there creating slick spots on the floor. Several dead are strewn about the room. Marble tables basically split the room in half. Large ovens dominate the east wall and make the whole room oppressively hot. Goblins are everywhere.

The dog tears out the throat of the first goblin before it can even squeak. The others hoot and holler in response.

Initiative order is below. Assume all in the building and on top of the building hear the hooting of the goblins, obviously something is afoot and not a leg. Take actions appropriately.

Hearing the hooting of the goblins, Lavanor assumes that the battle has begun. He listens intently, trying to determine if any are trying to leave the building but also if his companions need help. He also continues to second guess his decision to stay on the roof.

Lavanor does not hear any of the goblins attempting to flee (skylight domes would give him a bird's eye view of the fight).

Camil and Zandril slip further down the hallway. It turns to the right and then makes an immediate left. The latter part of the hall is about 20 feet long ending with a door. Two doors stand closed on the left (West) wall.

I read the bible to my girls in 20 minutes and then I will move forward with the story. It would appear Rowan is indisposed at the moment so I will bot him if necessary. If one of you wants to have him take an action, please do so. Wait until 9 EST and if he has not hopped on post an action. Or post an action and when I check it at 9, if he has not responded I will move forward with that one.

Rowan steps in, bow at the ready. As he passes the summoned dog he makes a quick scan of the room and shoots the goblin nearest to his left. His arrow goes wide.

Rowan atk: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 121d8 ⇒ 5

The hoots and gibbering of the goblins goes up an octave and those who can understand it, they scream "Death to the Longshanks!"

The goblin nearest the summoned dog attacks, drawing blood with its dog slicer. Then the goblin Rowan shot at scrambles up on the table and attempts to hit him with an as of yet unbroken bottle but misses. One of the goblins already on the table skitters along its length to try and impale Trunt but he strikes the corner of the table deflecting his attack. Two other goblins near the south end of the table throw broken glass items at Rowan. They are both uncannily accurate with one leaving a nasty gash on his forehead. Finally, one of the goblins wearing a coyote skull helmet, seems to ponder his actions. The other goblins seem somewhat disinterested in the issue as they continue to break glass, play with the tongs and melting glass, and kicking around the dead bodies. No one is sure how long those distractions may last though.

With the hoots and the screams of the goblins as a backdrop, Zandril opens the door to reveal a large dining room. It was most likely used by the employees many of whom lived on site. Tables have been overturned, chairs broken, and decorations generally pulled down off the walls.

Isabella squeezes behind Runt with a mumbled "Sorry" and steps past Rowan to bring her heavy blade to bear against the goblin on the table.

She raises the sword over her head, nearly overbalances, staggers back a step and just barely gets her balance back before falling over backward.

Runt exercises her inquisitors direction ability to give trunt haste for a round since he is the most 'daring' and seems to want to get surrounded. The primordial dog lashes out and attacks.

Trunt steps between the 2 goblins next to him and slashes at the goblin between him and Rowan with a flurry of magically enhanced strikes from his 2 daggers.

The nimble goblin dodges the first 2 strikes, but Trunt surprises him with his other dagger and goes at its throat.

If I remember correctly, thats a kill but I'm not sure.

Runt per the post right before mine. I didn’t double check the mechanics, I just took. If something is wrong, just remove that last attack.

Trunt got it right. It does grant the effects of haste for a round. A rather spiffy ability if you ask me, though Runt gets to do squat for his turn.

I'm a goof, learn to read right? That was Rowan's action but you will act before the goblins in round 2. DC 5 Acrobatics or Climb checks to get over the stone tables. Small characters can move under the wooden tables.

Trunt takes out the goblin. In the other hall, Valtyra follows Camil but Wrath moves toward the sound of battle. He opens the door and moves into the hall looking both ways before stepping to the nearest door from which he can hear the goblins.

Not being able to wait patiently, Lavanor runs back over to the nearest skylight and peers in to see what is going on. Double move. I'm still on the roof. I put a blue mark on my token. Feel free to adjust to note I'm not in the room.

Lavanor can see three goblins (11-13). They are looking toward the other side of the room, jeering and pumping their fists. It's almost as if they are psyching themselves up to get into the mix.

Since my action comes after the goblins', I'm kinda waiting to see what they do and where they move before I respond.

"Chakka!" The goblin on the table yells as it steps forward to slash at Isabella. The would be archer draws his sword and steps in to swipe at Trunt while a flank is available. The goblin nearest the dog takes a swipe or two at it. Another of the better dressed goblins leaps up on the second stone table and calls out commands prompting those goblins nearest him to attack. The goblin on the table seems quite motivated and runs down the length of the table and leaps toward Rowan. A goblin near the furnace throws a fist sized piece of broken glass at Isabella. Finally, the two nearest the apparent commander, fire their bows, one at Rowan and one at Trunt. The other goblins begin moving toward the fight brandishing their little swords.

Isabella is slashed across the chest and then has a chunk of glass bounce off her head (4 pts dmg). The leaping goblin misses a pivoting Rowan by a mile and smacks into the stone wall. The goblin falls prone, shaking his head, where a knot is already beginning. However, this takes his attention away from the archer who lobs an arrow across the room that scratches him across the shoulder.
