Bravo! Strong work everyone! Hooray for our team. What was that? Is everyone ok? Selter you and Sithiss don't look too good.

![]() |

Whew, that was close! Thanx for the assist folks. Another round would have killed both of us for sure.
Can one of you please stabilize my steadfast darling Sithiss. If I change back so that I can do it myself, I won't be nearly as well able to search/explore down under the water. That was my last wildshape for today.
Assuming someone stabilizes Sithiss...
Though quite badly hurt, Selter explores around the under water cave to see what such a great beast of the deeps was summoned to guard.
perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21

Wembly will cast a personal Infernal Healing on Sithiss if nobody else has more conventional healing available.
Here goes!
Actually will try a wand UMD first...I am not sure if infernal healing will auto-stabilize or not
UMD: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22 Wand CLW
UMD CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Wand
The medium water elemental will presumably continue to beat on the dead squid unless given something else to do.

Selter finds that the cave contains nothing but the churning waves of the ocean.

Ansha casts a cantrip to detect magic, then sweeps her gaze methodically over the cavern.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (15) + 17 = 32

Pondering, Ansha looks around at the other party members and asks, "Did anyone else think it was weird the way Phlegos' body interacted with its surroundings? Blades passing through it, skin sloughing off... Maybe we should take a second look at it. Ask Jirandiel about this cave too."

Grandmaster TOZ |

Thinking back on the brief struggle, Ansha realizes that Phelgos was under Displacement and False Life effects.
When questioned, Jirandiel wearily explains that the cave was where she bound the squid with the orb of aquatic mastery she found in the manor.

While the others question Jirandiel and Wembly asks who has the orb, Ansha walks over and picks it up. "Me, now."

Grandmaster TOZ |

As far as the party knows, the manor has been fully explored. Is there anything else you want to do or are you ready to leave?

Selter heals himself and Sithiss.
Sssince don't appear to be presssed for time, could make a very thorough sssearch of thisss place. Ssshould ssself explore more of thisss isssland or jussst take freed ssslavesss and leave?

"May as well search a bit," Ansha says, gesticulating. "May never be back here again."
Hidden behind her words, an enchantment reaches out to ensnare Jirandiel's mind. Persistent Charm Person, DC20. Covert Spells and Subtle Enchantments apply.
Bluff: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (19) + 25 = 44
Sleight of Hand: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
"Hey, Jirandiel, have you given me a complete tour of this place yet? Maybe a spot I missed, you know- secret closet or something."

Grandmaster TOZ |

After a brief questioning, the pirate concludes that the party has seen all of the house that she knows of. She complains about waiting on all the work the slaves had to do expanding the villa, but opines that it would have been worth it to finally get the crew out of the lounge and reclaim that area for the officers.

Lady, you are a piece of work,I must say. You would not have lasted two minutes in the Sanos Forest School. Are you only always looking out for yourself?
Wembly will dismiss the water elemental and resummon Whiskers with a brief flash of the green gem on his forehead.
There you are. You missed a bunch, but I will have to tell you all about it later, Whiskers!

Grandmaster TOZ |

"And my crew, you dolt. Not that I have one after you lot got through with them!"

Grandmaster TOZ |

With the island secured and Jirandiel in tow, the sailors on the Waverider’s Revenge offer no argument when commanded to sail you back to Sedeq. When you arrive, Karisa Starsight is disappointed but tries to be positive. ”It was a difficult task, so please don’t feel too badly about it. As long as we learn from our failures, learn to be better people and make better choices, the journey is worth the setbacks. Perhaps we can still track down the missing Pathfinders even without his help.” The rescued Pathfinder Kaborghia recovers with rest and nourishment but still seems taken with an urgency to speak with Ambrus Valsin, a disturbing glimmer in his eyes.

Wembly sighs. Yes, that is pretty much the same thing that my former master would tell all the younger students when they messed up. I was thinking I was beyond hearing that now. But I guess we are never too old to learn, right?
