Just got home. Will probably post tomorrow as I'll need GM guidance first.
Obviously I want to get out of sword range, which is a move action. Debating between directing Mr. Snuggles to attack or doing my now copyrighted Intimidate move.

If it was completely my animal to control I could have him attack and also do the Intimidate, but if it's still up in the air I have to choose since directing it through Handle Animal and Intimidate would each take up my standard action.

Heading to pass out in my very own bed but if you can let me know whether I can do both or just one, I'll post in the morning.

Cindy, mechanically this is your animal companion so it's a free action to handle it. Story-wise, you're just befriending it but I'm not going to penalize you for that. You can have him attack. In fact, go ahead and please take him over since I'm not entirely sure what his statblock should be. And use an alias for him as you desire.

Yeah bears aren't usually in that much risk of that, but these guys hitting for 2,187,499 damage per swing are rough

Makes sense. If you're doing deity-level damage, you might just heal instead. who knows how those puny mortals work. Their brains and body would just overflow if they saw how the world really works.

I thought to myself, this party almost always walks slowly through its encounters, highly resistant to what normal enemies can do but slow at taking those enemies out. So why not throw a bunch of glass cannons at them? Sure these barbs have good hp but their AC is atrocious and they hurt themselves every time they use those vicious longswords.

Oh I'm thoroughly enjoying this fight. My only frustration with it is I had no SLAs left after the last one since it took so long amd we're still in the same day. That's more my fault than anything else though.

Things are good here. The government here (Serbia) is being very proactive, and we've got pretty strong restrictions, but everyone is glad that they're in place.

Bob's paralysis is DC20 btw... the reflex save to dodge is DC9. Easy to dodge, hard to resist the paralysis...

I think it is too late to fix this because so many people have gone, but the barbarian I engulfed should have been pinned, even if he was able to resist the paralysis. Just a reminder for next time

Because our party comp was Gorthug DPS and everyone else utility/crowd control. And sadly my DPS did not include any tanking. That and undead die at 0HP so no healing was possible

Now you are a ranged damage and close combat dealer. In close combat you now have +11 Hit and do 1d6+8 base damage +1d4 acid damage. And I think that you will have AC25. I think with whip infusion you can even keep a shield inside of you. It just means that you won’t be able to get AOOs.

I think this keeps the Bob feel while upping his damage potential and defenses

I think once Bob and Snowball grow into more damaging combatants, our party will have a good balance. It just takes a while to get there :)

That and most of our damaging attacks right now are single-target. There were a couple of rounds with these barbarians where a fireball, or even a burning hands would have sped this combat up significantly.

Thanks for the break down Gorthug, but I want to keep Bob as a cube, and eventually become so big that I can engulf 4 and maybe 8 enemies at the same time. Probably combining it with barbarian for extra HP and speed. It will take time though. Certainly having a little time off for retraining will help.

However, I was looking at id ooze previously as a way to boost my intelligence. It is 3pp though, so depends if GM Monster wants to allow it. I think it is OP so maybe would require a scale back. (basically it gets +6 in nearly all attributes which is too much for a single level imo)

Yeah that's probably a little too much. I'm a little confused about whether or not id ooze grants additional feats. Let's say that it does not. Let's also change the ability score increases to +4 except you can get one +6 since it doesn't grant +2 nat armor or +4 to str the way advanced would.

Bob has been -1 young since we started. it is a brutal template. Why doesn't that count?

I read that as the young template being CR0
