Hello all. After being laid off, then job hunting, then having family issues, and now starting in with a new job I've found myself falling way behind on everything.
I didnt' even realize now long it had been since I logged into Paizo....
I am now officially back and able to actually post daily (for real this time) but wanted to check in first, as if you have already moved on without me I understand.

I think that we've all been moving a bit slower on here with "real-life" things taking up bandwidth for us. That's one of the things I appreciate about PbP, is that we can get caught back up.

I really wish that this thing wasn't such a high CR. Night Terrors would be an exceptional thing to use on a sleeping enemy, to trap them in a dream and slowly kill them through CHA drain, but I have a feeling that a CR 11 beastie has too good a will save....

Bob - if you were to make the wall and door a bit up the cave (about where the stalagmite on the N end of Cindy's wall is) then while people are dealing with the door and the traps, we could cast through viewholes in Cindy's wall, creating a pretty nasty defense. I'll put a dotted line on the cave entrance map to show where I mean.
Edit: never mind for some reason dotted lines are nowhere in the format options so I just made a thin grey line to show my proposition for Bob's wall location.
Edit #2: I also put the stats that GM gave for Cindy's wall on the map. It's not the strongest thing in the world at the moment but she plans on continuing to try to improve it during downtime so it will get nicer. She wants to have a lair/bedroom right there so she (and her future bear) can both be close to the forest and also help defend the cave. Also once she gets a good enough roll on a doll she's going to try and animate one as a poppet to have it act as a lookout for the cave.
GM - speaking of the poppet, since it requires a DC15 carpentry or dollmaking roll and 160gp, can she just spend the money once she has a decent roll on creating a doll or do I have to declare "this one is for a poppet" on one of her doll creations?

I'm assuming "Hatnah? Fatnah-eedah?" is because Snowball's mouth is full of Cinder bites.
I was trying to provoke Tina into coming by saying the two stupidest ones (Bob and Snowball) should be co-leaders, but it looks like she found her own motivation... Still, until Bob's comments are addressed he is going to continue to assume that he and Snowball are the co-leaders now.

I apologize for being absent the past 2.5 weeks, first the work convention, then inundated with family and friends Thanksgiving week, and then there was this week, let's just say it was one of those weeks. Also, welcome back. We killed Cinder, made friends-ish with some adventurers, and are currently marching off to the mountains so Snowball isn't always so overheated, I mean, to defeat the bad guy(s), er, to defeat the good guys probably maybe :D

Well, it seems I am well suited for this adventure.
Based on the last post, for step 1 Cindy does not eat, and for step 2 she has a 10' fly speed so she would just take to the air and go at half speed instead of doing climb checks for quarter speed.
If anyone else were to ask for her help on things like survival checks she'd be happy to assist but it wouldn't be something she would immediately think of since it's unnecessary for her

Due to that it can be assumed she might have seen you and she would have very happily given her big sister a hug.

In addition (for future reference, as I plan to roll intimidate a lot) she has frightening presence, which means any time she hits a DC15 on an intimidate or perform check, or if she gets a surprise attack, enemies within 30' roll against a DC13 or be panicked for 2d6 rounds in addition to the results of the attack or check. Success means immune for 1 hour.
She's very nice, but I guess the creepy factor makes her scary too
