Looking at the masks, Cymric shrugs his shoulders, "Seeker is correct, and I do not know anything else about them."
| Seeker Oread |
A goddess of life and death. A god of wealth and cities. Fitting for a man of Akhentepi's stature. Since Akhentepi was a military leader, it follows that one of the other masks must be a god or goddess related to warfare and conquest. Seeker doesn't know what the fourth might be. Perhaps a being representing nobility or bloodlines. He makes a note to return here after they have cleared the tomb of any remaining danger to sketch the masks so he can research them in the city libraries later. He also notes that Azwynn no longer looks ill. As if history was rewriting itself and she were never poisoned to begin with.

Cymric you do not recognise the other two gods that are depicted.
Seeker you move into the next chamber. A table displaying a three-dimensional diorama occupies much of the north side of this room. Three shields with different designs are displayed upon a rack against the east wall, while various weapons hang from another rack along the south wall. Arrayed around the room are five small chests and a clay urn.

I meant for Ogochukwu to be in the room since he was looking at the shields and helping Cymric with searching for traps. I went ahead and placed him there. Would any of the dolls have provoked by whatever movement they did? Ogochukwu has a reach weapon and, thanks to combat reflexes, is not flat footed before he acts.
"So many little dolls! Come to our aid, companions." He shouts before glancing down at his breastplate and closing his eyes in concentration. He opens them again and looks uncomfortably from doll to doll. he cast a spell on himself: Shield

Living statues? A very interesting trap for grave robbers. While moving further into the room is probably not the most tactically sound option, that was what his companions had committed to, so Seeker Oread follows them to allow Azwynn space to engage as well. If these were indeed statues, they would likely be resistant to damage, so Seeker adopts a combat style that trades accuracy for power.

@Ogochukwu - The creatures are warrior dolls, a type of animated object, they have hardness but they are vulnerable to fire. My apologies I'd not realised you were in the room.

thanks GM. No problem. As a player I tend to switch between theater of the mind out of combat and map/grid in combat. One of the disadvantages is the potential for misplacement.

Azwynn retrieves a vial of alchemist's fire from her backpack.
I don't remember how much of an action it is to get something out of a backpack. She doesn't have a Handy Haversack so I know it's not a move action, which makes me think getting the item is a standard action. Readying a splash weapon is a full-round action, so unless you tell me otherwise, she'll ready it next round.

Looking around the room you can see that most of the arms and armour are mundane, however the khopesh and spear are masterwork. The composite shortbow is serviceable but its string has deteriorated. The scarab shaped steel shield is a magic scarab shield.
Each of the chests have been sealed with wax. They each contain 100gp and 42sp, together with several scroll tubes holding papyrus ledgers, speeches and private correspondence. To on Osirionologist they might be worth maybe 250gp.

The figure to the west is that of a jackal-headed man carrying a sceptre or staff in his hand. Stone double doors, standing slightly ajar lead to the east and west. Torch holders sculpted in the shape of bird skulls are built in each corner, and a thin layer of dust covers every surface.

he has no use for them, he is just into old things, especially weapons
"What stories do these weapons hold, I wonder?" He eventually sets them down and moves on to the next room.
| Seeker Oread |
The letters and ledgers are a fine discovery. Seeker recalls a kingdom that fell some sixteen-hundred years ago. Many theories were put forth as to why exactly it fell, until a single correspondence between a king and his son was found, confirming that famine was ultimately responsible. It remained to be seen if any great revelations were contained in anything they had found so far, but this was proving to be a scholastically worthwhile endeavor, and they have barely scratched the surface.
