Eska burn through the bonds discreetly with your acid splash spell after they tie us up. It's only verbal and somatic.

Hate to be that guy, but depending on how RAW DM Red wants to play this, that may not work.
Video explaining why. Guy's got a mess of them and they're all pretty good.
Short version is that it target creatures specifically, not just anything.
I'd allow it because this seems like an oversight, and maybe make it a single target spell to compensate, but that's just me.

Just the weapons. Can't imagine that the cultists here see you guys as too much of a threat to want to completely strip you. Even Leosin is still dressed, but I could see them taking your robes.
I agree that acid splash having to be used on a creature and nothing else seems like an oversight. Can't see why it wouldn't affect the environment around you when fire spells do.
I guess that is magic for you.
Okay, so I have a few ideas:
1) We try the cliffs and climb them as quickly as possible after grabbing our gear.
2) We sneak through the tents or behind them and try out luck sneaking out in the dark.
3) We take a hostage and hope they are at least organized enough to hesitate to avoid killing their captain.
4) Set fire to the leader's tent then break while everyone's distracted by that.

Raakuzedu'lon'ros was just not meant to be of this world. He did what Bahumat asked him to do. He sacrificed himself so that the others would find escape I can only hope he finds a place at the Platinum dragon's side.

Heh, I was just about to update, but with Arianna's post, I'd rather wait and see how Eska replies and how things naturally move with you guys meeting up in the brush. I'll check again tomorrow.

Well team, that marks the end of Episode 2 of HotDQ. You've finally come up on a decent amount of wealth, I think. I've gotta calculate experience to see how far we're along to Level 3, but I don't think we're quite there yet. Raakuze's replacement will show up soon if his handler has time to post this week :)

I finally got around to tallying up experience, and you're all only 10 experience short of a level up. Rather than have to interrupt the adventure with a level up once we start up again, you can go ahead and level up to level 3. Roll for HP here.
Re: Eska's powered up dragon fang, did you mean just adding a mundane chain and tether so that it could be used at range? What did you mean by arcane focus? We'll need to keep in mind magic items are considered rare in 5e, and are hard to find. I can see a chain being worked into the tooth for a cost.
Arcane focuses are "mundane" items used for spellcasters same function as a components pouch. (i started with one)
Looking to add a [mundane chain + the embed a focus] to the Dragon Fang.
The outcome of which would allow me to "drop" the Fang as a free action for spell casting purposes if i need to without ever losing it off my person.
Since you mentioned it if the tether can be used as a throw-retrieve as well that'd be a cool bonus. Or we can leave that till the Fang and I level up again ;p
I'll pay whatever the cost is to commission this but Arianna should have a hand in the creation to keep it inline with the RP.

Wow, even if Arianna hadn't rolled a 20, a Dwarf Fortress reference tucked into that very descriptive piece would probably have made your GM give you a bonus either way. :) Well done.
I'm fine with the properties you've defined above, Eska: Dropping the fang as a free action, and being able to use it as a sort of boomerang. Given Arianna constructed it herself, and given your fame in Greenest, I'm not going to charge you for the raw materials either.

Whoo. And there's more than just a Dwarf Fortress reference in there. I'm curious if any fans of the early Drizzt books will spot a similarity to another forging scene. And Galadriel was a cheap-wad. Only three hairs? Arianna used most of hers for this gift. :P
I'll have Arianna leveled over the weekend. I'm debating on Lore or Valor for her college. Either fits her, but I'm not sure which fits better.
I could see Raakuze/Met-Anoi'a potentially picking up on that Drizzt reference..

My leveling up has been done on my character sheet. Adjusted my HP and picked my Martial Archetype.
Decided to go with Lore. Arianna should be all up to date now. :)
