"Haro looks badly hurt," Melea says, hurrying ahead. "I'll try meeting him halfway to fix him, help retrieve the disks."
Double move. Here's hoping he doesn't have Combat Reflexes!

Toral moves to the ladder to be able to insert the discs.

This is a unique item, and you can detect that it is imbued with a fragment of a long-dead hero's spirit. It functions as a +1 axiomatic monstrous humanoid bane heavy flail. The weapon also has the ability to cast some spells of its own volition under certain circumstances. Combined with the mosaics, you can piece together that it can cast both liberating command and neutralize poison on its wielder while battling serpents.

The dwarf seems to be upset.

Let's call that a bull rush on the disk, AC 3. You can do that OR attack, not both. That roll will only move it 5ft.

It's like 30lbs. You wouldn't get a far toss. I recommend just running it over to Toral :)

Haro grumbles as he hears the dwarf complain about the disk being dropped. He picks it up and runs towards the opening in the wall for the disks.

The tail whips around and strikes Melea as she dives out of range and hands the disk to Toral. Galilah gets a claw on the tail when it hit their master.
As Toral moves into position and reaches down to accept the final discs from Haro and Melea, the beast, seeing what's happening, intensifies its flailing! Fortunately, all of the Pathfinders wisely moved out of range of the creature, so its tails slam uselessly against the stone floor, desperately reaching in a futile attempt to knock the disc from Toral's hands.
As Toral slots the final disc the four panels fuse into a single piece, releasing a wave of glowing energy that washes out over the whole temple. The pulse pushes the furious xacarba, along with the Azlanti monolith, back into the cell, and you just get a glimpse of the golem raising its massive fists to fight the serpent as the doors slam shut, sealing them both inside!
A moment later, the sound of cautious footsteps reveal the approaching researchers. Juliet pokes her head around the corner first, looking at the sealed door and then to you. "Did you destroy it? Whatever that horrible thing was that was controlling us, it's insidious voice just disappeared from my mind a moment ago. Look! The discs we put through the crack! What happened here?"

![]() |

”Do not worry! These brave Pathfinders risked their lives so that we could assemble the discs in the right order. Obviously this device has renewed the seals and the fiend is imprisoned again!“ Toral says quite exited and proud of their joint achievements.

![]() |

"In the company of the monolith, no less," Melea adds, already healing the assembled party. "Here's hoping it will prevail, but the vile snake should be there to stay, if nothing else. I believe we've secured the rest of the site as well."

![]() |

Haro sees the snake finally defeated. Smiling, "If seen bigger." he says, not knowing the full implications of the words.

![]() |

Arbiscar moves away as he sees the imprisonment coming. He barely make it to jump away as the tails flail desperately.
By when Juliet arrives he is already standing up "Yes, easy thing" the red spots of blood all around his armor do not say the same though. "Ah, you were just in time with those disks. I don't think we could have entertained the creature much longer"
"You were very clever. I would have never known how to sort that in order"
