The night's sleep was uneventful. There were no hiccups, and you all dreamed and slept soundly. The night was calm. Also, the morning was all that eventful. The beautiful voices of the birds helped wake you up. As the light streams into your room, you have enough time to eat breakfast and get your horses ready to go into Akodo lands.
Matsu Niko grabs breakfast and has her horse readied for the day's journey. She makes time to say goodbye to her family members and dons her armor.
Dai does his morning exercises, cleans up and has a brief breakfast before readying his horse to continue on.
As you ride your horses into Akodo lands, the sky is threatening a rain storm. The clouds are gathering, and it looks like they are storm clouds. Other than that, the ride is uneventful. It looks like the Lion clan is keeping the roads clear of bandits.
"We may need to seek shelter at the next roadside inn. This weather looks like it might turn into a downpoor soon." Dai says as he looks up at the dark clouds.

The next roadside inn is a little, dainty affair with three rooms. The couple who runs it are older. But they have been running the inn for fifteen years. They mostly cater to travelers in Lion lands. You are about an hour away from the Akodo lands, and you are still in Matsu lands. Thus the couple might offer you a discount.
