I wonder if the dustmen might catch on to Nik using a pair of unauthorized shamblers with tails to do most of his chores while he does all this doodling... Maybe Nik does need to talk to Lu about that stuff, haha.
Which reminds me, Nik would probably fit right in with the fated, but that no gifts clause would probably cause too much trouble, even if Nik does lean that way xD

Jek, you picking up chain challenge at any point? I was just thinking of the Daring Champion I never got to playing and how much I was looking forward to it.

Just calculating him out to level 7 with slashing grace and a longsword, he would have been pretty fun at this level. Something like:

+12/+7 1d8 + 16 with a MWK. +23 on a challenge, and +30 if boosted with panache. +33 if facing the guy solo (cockatrice).

With chain challenge he could basically challenge all fight 3 times an day and with 5 panache, he could use the boost pretty often to finish dudes and get it back.

AC 27 base with mithral breastplate and buckler, 32 with panache boost.

Dazzling display and Corungan Smash for fun on top.

Probably whoop ol Conor's butt in a fight.

Edit: wait, I can't recall if slashing grace let's me use finesse with a longsword, but a rapier would work fine too. Probably make it Keen for funsies.

I honestly wasn't considering Chain Challenge. The challenge armor penalty gets pretty risky for Jek due to his medium armor and large size. This leads to conserving challenges for bosses and emergencies. It's not a bad option for martial flexibility though.

we turned 5k into 50k back in that desert hell place
and we hadn't been spending our jink very thoroughly before that :3
And then I distributed only half of that 50k, so that's probably exactly right xD
(Although we have sold most of what we can sell that can't be used for shambler manufacturing... I'm kind of hoping we'll fight a giant animal some day and then we'll have a giant pet to get in trouble for owning :3)

I'm for it, though we had discussed possibly having Conor swap his crossbow for the composite longbow + 3 and the arrows.

But I can also just stick with my crossbow too, those bows aren't cheap and it's a backup weapon.

Looks like I'll come up short for the bracers either way, so I'll stick with my purchasing plan above until we get more lewtz.

Ok, Nik is going to return one of our two scrolls of Passwall to the loot as well as the scroll for protection from energy.
That should help get us the 30703 jink we need to split to get Conor those bracers :3
Also, Nik doesn't need to turn every last gem into shamblers. Maybe trade away some of the big ones? And I'm not 100% sure the rose petal works with the feat, so maybe that 150gp gem should become 150gp of jink to spend on Conor's new magic item...

edit: with those two scrolls thrown in/sold to Lu, we're less than 900 gp short.
Throwing in the 150gp quarts-rose-thing and the two opals worth 500 each, that'll get us enough to split evenly and have Conor's cash go above 11500 :3
@Conor: that still leaves a bit of cash for scrolls, I'm pretty sure, so maybe you'll want to buy some scroll making materials? :3

edit2: @Jek I've already set Opals worth 500gp from 2 to 0, but I'm torn about the quartz with rose petal inside, it seems so fancy...

@GM: would an appraise check tell Nik anything about it?

Yeah, I decided to just try to grab a few useful things and save for the bracers later, I still have 3 decent smites a day (though those bracers get me another smite and +4 damage) as it is, self healing was kind of an issue after the last fight, so I want to get that sorted some first.

It's odd with the ABP that I don't even really think about weapons or armor right now.

@Conor working as intended.

Could have adhered more closely to Planescape cannon and have +'s lose potency as you travel farther away from the item's home plane. Part of the reason why the Dwarven Mountain does such good business, being on the Outlands they only lose a +1 for most planes. Divine casters had it worse off losing caster levels and memorized spells.

@Rinika yes the ring is available.

Since I'm terrified of what the rose petal in quartz might do if it happens to be special, I'm just going to include that in our sale of loot ^^;

related to removing rows: if you leave the number off of the ending cell of a range (i.e it's just the letter of the column), you'll always get everything to the end of the column :3

@Conor: Conor would like that bow in place of 200gp of his share, right? :3
edit: the arrows are worth 32sp, so I just dispursed 520pp and 16sp to everyone except Conor, who got 500pp, the bow (sells for 20pp) and the arrows (sells for 16sp)

Good call on the column trick. I think I remember that one from before excel added table objects. I set up the loot sheet so that if we ever needed more than 1000 lines for any reason, I could just add rows to the middle without needing to edit formulas.

Not a huge difference, but I remember adding columns to Nik's sheet and wondering why things didn't concatenate the way I expected. Then I remembered to remove the letter to get the whole row. So it might not help the loot sheet, but it helps sometimes xD

BTW, when someone starts complaining about the cold, Nik will be reminded that not everyone is immune to minor cold and that he built up a stash of scrolls of Endure Elements for... well hotter climates, but it works for cold too, haha.

That's a great spell if we're ever stuck in a snowstorm/heatwave and just need a few hours to find/set-up shelter, but we probably want scrolls or wands of Endure Elements so we can get the full 24 hours xD

On the other hand, a lesser rod of Extend metamagic would double that to 48 hours of protection from the elements, which would probably make that worthwhile...
Which reminds me of Lucky Number. Remember, you roll a d20 to get the lucky number, but any sized die (a damage die, for example) can possibly trigger the spell
With a rod of extend, you can alternate casting that every day with Fastidiousness or Endure Elements xD
Or just have it active from the previous day while saving your current casting for after/if it gets used :3

Also, that reminds me of other nice 1st level paladin spells: Lesser Restoration (1st level instead of 2nd level, yay! Probably best to have it as a 1st level scroll, though), Knight's Calling (like daze or daze monster, but ruining their battlefield position instead of having an HD cap), Litany of Duty (immediate action cast! Good in case you get charmed or dominated somehow... but Word of Resolve might be better?), Liberating Command (also immediate & also situational), Word of Resolve (immediate action and probably better than Protection from Evil for failed saves vs charms (at level 8+) and it also gives rerolls vs fear, so it might be better than Unbreakable Heart in most cases), and Stunning Barrier (Stunned is the best debuff & it's a will save for a melee attacker! It's a Standard to start it up, but still worth it if you cause a foe to lose a turn and drop what they're holding --possibly canceling a full attack as well!)

And since I can't help myself, here's some 2nd level spells (besides communal Endure Elements):
Aura of Greater Courage (if we know something has Fear), Bestow Grace (only Jek? And fluff doesn't match a paladin without Divine Grace, but it's essentially Divine Grace for mins/lvl), Delay Poison (another good long-term buff; immunity to Stinking Cloud, anyone? also allows us to treat poisonous bites etc after combat), Instant Armor (if we ever expect to storm a ghost infested dungeon, maybe best as a scroll?), Light Lance (situational, but loads of people that pick fights are evil-aligned), Paladin's Sacrifice (if only used vs fear effects, simply better than Word of Resolve, also a way to help out allies, which is Conor's archetype's thing...), Protection from Evil, Communal (because protecting everyone from mind-control from whatever is behind the next door or just showed up is sometimes the best plan), Remove Paralysis (situational, but paralysis sucks hard), Restful Cloak (It's nice a spell for cat-naps that probably works on Rinika, otherwise not worth mentioning), Saddle Surge (as you know), Suppress Charms and Compulsions (probably a decent scroll for Rinika, probably not good for Conor), and Winged Sword (might be good as a scroll if Nik learns Returning Weapon to complement it)

and of course, the +4 str/wis/cha spells are sometimes handy :3

Great breakdown, thanks.

The first level stuff is especially nice since I'm often stuck in a combat cleric/oracle mindset, but a paladin doesn't really need a +1 or 2 as much to attack.

I do actually have Paladin's Sacrifice prepared, seemed very class appropriate.

Gotta do the CLW too, or did before I bought the wand.

Cause using someone else's nice wand or spells for myswlf is awful close to charity, not very Fated (it's kinda fun and challenging to remember all the things we take for granted as adventuring groups).

I'm up for grabbing more scrolls for Rinika, probably should have done that a while back. When the rogue is an Oracle, might as well make use of all that potential.

BUT, let's not forget Conor gets to split it as he wishes amongst people he likes. So he, Rinika and Jek could be real happy for about 8 hours... ;P

In addition to skipping the usual DF etc, I also skipped over the undead fighting things because... well... that's Nik's job :P

I haven't really looked at any of the submissions that were passed over yet but if you happen to look over them and someone jumps out at you let me know. Otherwise I will take a look probably tomorrow. I'm open to other player suggestions too.

Looks like there's a lot of overlap with our existing classes there, I'm seeing a wizard, a paladin, a cavalier, and an oracle with a monk dip lol.

Something ranged would be nice, or a healer.

I've got one campaign with a bunch of real good players, if we need to start asking around I can see if any of them are interested.

I like the cat's character, which is funny, 'cause my character likes the cat...
Anyway, I like Nymeria Kalaniss's backstory best (and I think she might be up for exactly the kinds of shennanigans we get up to)
Also, with two casters that can use Infernal Healing, we'd have pretty good healing going on. I know she doesn't have Conjuration as an opposition school xD
Maybe Nik should prep IH in larger quantities...

For the others, I really like the idea of having another melee guy between Nik and whatever we find ourselves fighting ;P
Of the not wizards, I think I like the cavalier best, especially if she comes with her own mount. We could have more than half our team be Cavalry :D
Hilariously, that's also the submission of the guy that withdrew right before the final pick xD
