I see what this archetype does now, I thought it focused on wielding an appropriate sized 2 hander with 1 hand. I see now it relies on using too big of 2 handed weapons, now I see, so now I know the feat path to go...was originally gonna work my way up to dual-wielding 2 handers, but now that I see its just use the biggest weapon you can build, I can build toward that.
And I will have to change my weapon bind when we get a chance :)
P.S. now that I figured out I don't have to use jotungrip in conjunction with oversized weapons and the oversized count as a two hander (jotungrip with a two-hander makes it a one-hander for power attack and strength bonus) my bonuses to attack and damage are much more in line now (and that herolab didn't include strength, still perplexing to me) They still aren't great but now they make more sense and are more in line with the party.

Break Free: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

seeing that, I'm beginning to think that you could use an extra +14
:D
Also, how does blindness and/or invisibility interact with grappling again? +2 or something?
edit: found it:
A grappled creature cannot use Stealth to hide from the creature grappling it, even if a special ability, such as hide in plain sight, would normally allow it to do so. If a grappled creature becomes invisible, through a spell or other ability, it gains a +2 circumstance bonus on its CMD to avoid being grappled, but receives no other benefit.
So I think your CMD goes up by 2, but they also get +5 to maintain... I'll definitely get the shamblers to aid you for +2 each and cast Grease
also, can you Smite them? CMB rolls are attack rolls :3Also, I think deflection adds to CMD? I should double check that...
...or do you really want that brawler? XD
@GM: After the enemies go again, should I move the shamblers for those aid actions? Maybe they should both be adjacent to both Conor and the scorpion?
edit2:
Miscellaneous Modifiers
A creature can also add any circumstance, deflection, dodge, insight, luck, morale, profane, and sacred bonuses to AC to its CMD. Any penalties to a creature’s AC also apply to its CMD. A flat-footed creature does not add its Dexterity bonus to its CMD.
If those things are evil, you can get deflection + bonus attack to your CMD :D

I get an extra bonus to smiting if the bad guy drops one of you, but I'm probably dropping first at this rate.

Actually, not sure how well it'll work with the wand xD
Alternatively, we can step through the portal for a minute to heal up xD
Also, Nik doesn't actually know we're on the first plane, but it's likely given that usually you have to go to the topmost plane before getting to deeper levels :3

btw, I just doubled checked: the explosion was for 10 force damage vs Nansi. I'm pretty sure hardness affects all damage, so he'd be 20/25 after the blast. That mending (assuming Nansi is enough of an item and not too much of a creature) would bring him up to 23/25. One or two more Mendings to go xD

I think we have three options to continue this "quest line" here.
1. Press this guy further. Might need to roll really well on diplomacy to do so. We could try threatening as well but I don't think we're really in a position to do so.
2. Leave and try to sneak off to find the ghost and the flower.
3. Go back to Crux, find the Ruby, Kyphi, and Animal offering to Set, and come back when we have those.
What do y'all think?

Good catch on #3. We might be sufficiently introduced to not need the three item offering. Do we even want a desert's night flower? It has that strange "plot item" alure to it. I suppose we could sell it to the govs in Sigil... We should find out what the elixir does first.
It seems like too much of a coincidence that the murderer would summon the person who gathered the three items (but lost them) to the town next to the portal. I wonder if the dead merchant had any connection to it.

#2: As much as I like the idea of finding The Desert's Night, we'll want very high mobility to sneak around and steal some. Maybe a bunch of flying fast-zombie mounts?
that's assuming #3 doesn't work out very nicely. As much as I want a zombie hoard, #3 sounds much safer. I think the gov'ners have one of the 3, though, right? Maybe we just need to get the animal and gem?
Also, anything besides the amulet of Tiamat that we can sell to buy greensteel ingots? We have enough spare jink if they'll give us the full 3153 gp for the amulet, but maybe we have other things we don't need :3
Also, why do I get the feeling we aren't welcome back for a second trade trip? XD

None of the items sound like they're unique...I'm guessing the larger the ruby, the better. Kyphi might be difficult to find but probably won't be impossible. It mostly sounds like Kaer-aama was just terrible at his job. Might be worth asking where he got the Kyphi though.
@Delmoth, would they still be able to get me a greensteel shirt even if its not very common? I appreciate that it's tougher than mithril and lighter than regular steel. It's a nice in-between point for light armor but definitely with incentive to upgrade again later.
And as to your last comment Nik- I think we got them from Hostile to Unfriendly. Maybe worth one more check to butter them up a bit more before we leave to at least have a limited invitation?

this chapter? You mean since Jek got his pretty stolen? :3
Let's see. Jek's gift to Nik and Jek both got their pretty stolen, we went around town selling lewt from the crocs that didn't get away. We found the crazy psychics whose heads exploded. Kill the not-a-beholder and stole his eyes (should've raised that thing to become a floating mount for Nik. OH WELL...) found a town in the muck with a poor couple that drank someone's pretty and got surrounded by covetous people fighting over 'em. Including us. Saved 'em, escaped town, and followed the crocs to the realm of the Narns. Met a guy in an awesome walking tower with some jewels. Stole the jewels when he and his tower disappeared. Lost a shambler to trying to force our way into the bushy area, then we figured out we had to play nice with the flora so it wouldn't act like fauna. Went through a portal and found Crux. Climbed down to the croc fortress portal and picked a fight. Lost the fight, but Rinika stole some nice things. Also left Akrynn behind. Talked to the squirrels and the crazy tree lady and checked out the ripple of darkened wood somewhere on the world tree. came back to town to knock out the crazy tree lady. discovered a murder and probably saved the life of Nik's long lost twin bro. chased the ghost into the hell-desert. fought with 3 guards and are now currently on our way home from a 1-time trip to trade with 'em xD
Did I miss anything? :3
