Shadow Enchantment

Rules Questions

So, Shadow enchantment says you can use any psychic, sorcerer, or wizard enchantment spell up to level 2.

A) is there any way to raise that level cap?

B) Say I want to use https://dndtools.net/spells/dragon-magic--62/adoration-of-the-frightful--10 62/

"Enchantment (Charm) [Mind-Affecting]
Level: Hexblade 2, Bard 3, Cleric 3, Sorcerer 3, Wizard 3, "

So, thats an enchantment spell... and a wiz/sor spell... and one class has it at level 2. I recall there been a rule somewhere that a spell counts at the lowest level of the class' it is available on.

Would that mean lowest level among psychic, wiz, or sor spell lists? or of all spell lists since shadow enchantis the source? or...

Probably reaching here, but I dont want to dig through rules since I am asking for the sake of a 3.5 game (oh, if thats relevant its a 3.5 game that allows pathfinder spells).

Please answer the question from the perspective of both rules (3.5 and pathfinder)

a) No.
b) That it's a hexblade 2 spell only helps if you can use the hexblade list (you can't with shadow enchantment), or if you can somehow add it from the hexblade spell list to the wiz./sorc. list, for which I can think of a couple of ways in PF, but it's been too long since I played 3.5 to remember if there's any in that rule set.

A) Greater Shadow Enchantment can use enchantment spells of 5th level or lower
B) Adoration of the Frightful is a 3rd level Wizard/Sorcerer spell and 2nd level Hexblade spell. Neither of these variations meets the criteria for Shadow Evocation.

The answer is the same for both PF and 3.5; as avr mentions you might find a way to treat Adoration of the Frightful as a 2nd level sorcerer/wizard spell, but it'd be circuitous to pull off.
