Kal would be happy to keep playing as well. I have played 2 of the scenarios in the tapestry sequence, so when we hit them I will have to sit out those out.
3-12
6-21

Hey GM, I just wanted to make a suggestion to make things a bit more clear on the map. I know you mentioned this is the first adventure you have run so I mean it to be helpful.
I am having trouble following who is who on the map. I would recommend having colored rings around the NPCs/Enemies and refer to them by color in your post at some point. This will make it easier for the players to recognize who is who. I don't know if I am the only one a bit confused or not, but I just wanted to throw this out there.

![]() |

I really enjoyed the game!
:-)

EbonFist |

Ok guys. Feel free to post any follow up...decide what you want to do with the prisoners and ex-prisoners. Decide what you want to tell Zey, but that's the end of the adventure.
I should have Chronicles up by Monday or Tuesday and will likely start the next adventure a week later. I'll let you all know when I've got it up and running.

EbonFist |

Oh...and I would suggest that the group use this outpost as a base between missions, but I'm a lifelong Texan and can't imagine why people live places where there is snow on the ground 3 months out of the year, let alone living someplace that is literally covered in a glacier.

![]() |

I am the complete opposite! I am from Buffalo NY and I can't imagine living in Texas in that heat! Heck, I am living in southern Ohio right now and it is too hot for me haha.
Itham on the other hand is not from the land of snow so will need to bundle up when hanging out at this outpost.

![]() |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

I am with Itham- I’ll take the cold over the heat. Northern Ohio here.
Wether it’s ohio or Texas, there are still 3+ months that you can’t go outside. It’s only the reason that’s different

![]() |

It can make you wonder what drove the first settlers to ever left England behind for your US extremes of heat and cold, plus rattlesnakes, indian raids, etc etc.
Then you witness the unending dreary rain here in England and realise why.

Waggi will complete the following Season 10 Faction Goal for the Exchange:
(0/2)Create a new trade route, either by mapping a legitimate path or opening doors to a smuggling enterprise. Doing so requires a successful Intimidate, Knowledge (geography), or Survival check with a DC equal to 15 + your character level. Taking 10 for Survival vs DC16: 16

![]() |

Castinus will complete the following Season 10 Faction Goal:
Dissuade an NPC from working with an organization that directly opposes the Pathfinder Society’s goals during an adventure by presenting the NPC with evidence that doing so is contrary to her interests. This requires a successful Bluff, Intimidate, Knowledge (local), or Sense Motive check with a DC equal to 15 + your character level. (the ninja)

![]() |

GM, does this mission qualify the following faction goal:
Defeat a known slaver whose Challenge Rating is at least equal to your character level. For the purposes of this goal, a
slaver is a creature that owns at least five slaves, is maintaining a compulsion spell or effect to control a creature for at
least 1 day, or is explicitly cited as trafficking slaves.

EbonFist |

Castinus, I'll need a role from you (unless you can take 10 and hit the mark, in which case I'll need to know that.)
Dana, unfortunately, while you did face a known slaver, his CR was below your character level.

![]() |

Thanks. Then she will take 10 for 19 kn local for the below:
Forgo your Downtime to nonviolently fight for the cause of liberty by spending time organizing protests, freeing slaves,
or distributing revolutionary material. Doing so requires a successful Disable Device, Knowledge (local), or Stealth check
with a DC equal to 15 + your character level.

EbonFist |

Okey Dokey guys. Chronicle Sheets are Here.
Probably...let me know if I messed it up and you can't get to it. I'll go ahead and leave this campaign open for a few days (and get reporting done.)
I'm shooting to start #3-21 The Temple of Empyereal Enlightenment early next week. I'll send PM's with links to each of you.

![]() |

Says I need permission.
Thanks GM!

![]() |

Same as Kal'ryon. Need permission to access.
I just finished #3-21 The Temple of Empyereal Enlightenment last week so I'm out for now. Once you're done if you'd like some more Waggi'ness and he isn't occupied lemme know.

EbonFist |

'Member when I said there would be something that I mess up no matter how many times I do it? I think this is going to be it...
Try now. If it still doesn't work, let me know. There's one other thing I can change.
Also, sorry that Waggi's not going to make the trip with us to the next one.
Do the rest of you want me to recruit for the 6th spot or want to try it with just 5?

![]() |

Try it with 5? I would like to think we could manage a challenge, except for the fact that we are quite a squishy party...

![]() |

Castinus, I'll need a role from you (unless you can take 10 and hit the mark, in which case I'll need to know that.)
Castinus can take 10 plus 7 plus inspiration to hit 16.

![]() |

While normally I like the challenge of a 5 man group, I am concerned that Itham is nearly useless at level 1. I will have a wand of magic missile to help in the next adventure at least.

![]() |

Kal is a reasonable melee option, but doesn't offer much other than combat. I don't mind being the front liner though. I am up for 5.

![]() |

I believe I have proven to be quite the glass cannon so far. Still, if we are up for 5, may as well go for it. At least this next game will get me to 2nd.

![]() |

Hello GM,
Dana is Liberty’s Edge faction.
Could you correct that please?
Dana is now level 4 so I would switch characters but I am in with a 3rd level alchemist.
I would rather recruit a sixth player as there are many players looking for games.
Instead of posting on recruitment you GM could ask one of the new players on the boards via pm?

EbonFist |

Ok. Dana, I've updated your character sheet. It's at the link previously given.
I can't really tell what the consensus is on playing with 5 or 6 next time. I'll probably go ahead and recruit a newbie for the next one, based on Dana's point that there are always more players than games and it sucks to walk into the lodge your first time and not get to play for a couple weeks.

Thanks a lot!

Right - now for some shopping.
o 2PP buys one item of 750gp or less = wand of CLW
o Sell MW St Leather, buy MW Chain Shirt = 165gp
o Buy a scroll of CLW = 50gp
o Copy Scroll of CLW into formulae book = 10gp
Spellcraft + Inspiration: 1d20 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 2 + (3) = 10 D'uh. Failed - scroll retained but not copied.
Total net cost: 2PP, 225 gp.

![]() |

Noral / Dana here:
This is the character I would bring.
Thanks again!

Somethings to keep in mind:
Selling things before your first lvl 2 adventure is always full price. A nice way to upgrade entry level weapons and armor as you move towards level 2.
Scrolls of min caster and 1st level spells are 25g, potions are 50g.
You can take 10 on spellcraft rolls for copying spells into spellbooks (and their equivalent). Seems like your bonus isn't high enough for that though... do you have a skill rank in it?
You also can change around your character as much as you like without cost or penalty between scenarios prior to your first level 2 mission.

EbonFist |

Hey guys, I just reported the session through the OSP.
Do any of you guys who are also GM's know if I have to report it the regular way, too?
Or...I guess can anyone check to see if it's showing up in their history?

Very, very helpful - thank you. I will swap around skill points so I can auto-succeed, buy the scroll for 25gp not 50gp, buy a tanglefoot bag as well, and get full refund on the armour. Ker-ching!

This would meet the requirements for this, correct?
Participate in an adventure that takes place in the Blakros Museum or that features a member of the Blakros family. Alternatively, participate in an adventure that takes place on a demiplane.
I am not sure if this is a demiplane or not.

EbonFist |

Yup. It's a demiplane. It definitely counts.
And let me say, I love seeing people using the Faction Journal Cards. I have gotten out of the habit.

EbonFist |

Ok guys...the Link to the next Thread (pun intended) of the Hao Jin Tapestry Saga can be found here.
Go ahead and check in on the Discussion thread, if you like and post in character on the gameplay thread.
I'm going to go recruit a temporary 6th.
We may get started tomorrow, if everyone checks in but my in-laws are staying with me for an untold amount of time so I probably won't post much, if at all, over the weekend.
