Bavick also likes the idea of returning Muhdzuzi to his village. Halfling solidarity, and the fact that Bavick really thinks that Pridon's Hearth will not survive unless they improve relations with the natives.
Maybe first asking around town quietly about Hamsa and her expedition, though.
As to purchases, Bavick will get a Masterwork Buckler for 155 GP. Because its ACP is 0, his lack of proficiency doesn't matter.

Not that he can afford a fully loaded wand yet, but is there a place we can sell the brooch and perhaps purchase some low-level magic items? (We already know where to go for potions)

Rory is looking for wands, likely partially charged, first level, etc. Shield would be good. Perhaps Protection from Evil. He thinks he can drain items to power his Chi and/or UMD his way into getting the items to work. He would be interested in any wands, but likely can’t afford any higher level ones unless they have just a few charges.

Mirya can sell you a wand of protection from evil with 20 charges for 300 gp.
It sounds like escorting Muhdzuzi home will be your first chosen task. I'll get a beginning post to that effect tomorrow morning. That will leave you with time to finish up anything you'd like to do in town.
Call it a deal on the wand of PFE. The Brooch of Shielding retails for 1500 gp. Do we sell it for half & give everyone 125 gp?

I am not sure where all the “reward loot” went from the council meeting, but Rory will hopefully have several of the magical crossbow bolts. He will either have the loaded light crossbow with him or let Muhdzuzi have it as we go. We should probably determine who wants the armor and potions before our next fight.

I added the loot from post numbers 674 and 688 to our loot tracker. Rory already noted the sell of the brooch of shielding and the split out of that gold. We have 900 more gold to split (500 from Count Fancyman and 400 from the Sheriff). So on top of the 125 Rory mentioned everyone gets another 128 gold, 5 silver, 7 copper.
Rory has called a claim on some of the magic crossbow bolts, Pai can also use them, as can Yolar based on current equipment choices.
So unless anyone else wants to pick up a cross bow I propose rory gets the 5 requested and Pai and Yolar split the others between them (10 each).
We have a magic chain shirt (I am assuming medium since it wasn't specified) to either sell or put on someone. My guess would be that it goes to Tygrah. It would be a +2 boost to your AC with no drawback (same ACP since the chain shirt is inherently masterwork). Could help Yolar too by lowering his ACP from -4 for armor down to -1, but the actual AC would be flat. Same for Ashlion (you guys actually are wearing the same thing, how embarassing). :P My vote would be Tygrah unless someone has a more compelling arguement somewhere else.
That brings us to the potions of barkskin. Assuming minimum caster level of 3 (level 2 spells) it gives someone a +2 Natural AC bonus for 30 minutes. I think these would be best served in the hands of our frontliners, Ashlion and Tygrah...but other thoughts and opinions are welcome there as well.
Thoughts? Comments? Indictments?

Sounds great to me, Pai. Now that Rory has his “Ghost Shuriken”, he can now attack at medium range. We shall see if Muhdzuzi wants to take Rory up on the offer to use his light crossbow...

Ashlion is packing the masterwork breastplate actually :) so not wearing the same stuff anymore. To that end we can sell his scale mail for a little more money. I'm all in favour of Tygrah being better protected, so she should get the chain mail. :D

Realized after I posted there is an added perk on the chain shirt for Ashlion...His speed right now is being reduced to 30 down from 40 because of the medium armor he's wearing...so moving to the +1 chainshirt would net him 3 less ACP AND 10 more movement speed.
So maybe we let Ashlion and Tygrah wrestle for it? They seem to like doing that anyways.

I can bot Pai until the group gets back to Pridon's Hearth. Once you reach there, how would you folks like to continue?
A) You can continue on with just five. You've probably got a decent enough spread of skills to still manage.
B) I can bot Pai or bring in an NPC (no that wasn't the plan for Tizgah, but she would serve).
C) We can recruit for a replacement.

Rory has a high enough Charisma to fake his way through some social encounters, but he doesn't have a lot of skill points and the social skills aren't class skills for him, so he wasn't built to be the face.
I checked our submissions from the original recruitment thread, and there were no face characters other than Pai. I really liked her character, especially because Rory looked up to her as a "big sister" of sorts.
Rory's social interactions are going to be pretty basic, but he is willing to shoulder the load if we want. I wouldn't mind another PC, as long as they post on a regular basis, but I would be okay continuing with 5 too.
