Stardust (Sp):
As a standard action, the shaman causes stardust to materialize around one creature within 30 feet. This stardust causes the target to shed light as a candle, and it cannot benefit from concealment or any invisibility effects. The creature takes a –1 penalty on attack rolls and sight-based Perception checks. This penalty to attack rolls and Perception checks increases by 1 at 4th level and every 4 levels thereafter, to a maximum of –6 at 20th level. This effect lasts for a number of rounds equal to half the shaman’s level (minimum 1). Sightless creatures cannot be affected by this ability. Grimpfkin comes out of the forest and kicks at the body of the dead Treant. “Knock on wood!

Nodding with approval, he uses his magic to mold a set of mugs from a nearby tree, and by knocking his own mug against them, he causes each mug to fill with delicious drinks. He toasts the You and invites you to drink.

As you drink, you feel the previous charm increase in strength.

Greater Charm of Luck: This functions as the Charm of Luck, but you can roll twice when rerolling the d20 and take the higher result.

With that, he gives a wave and steps into a tree.

Shortly after that, the tree spirits that were guiding you return.

**OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT**

It is difficult to tell how much time has passed through the smothering canopy as Medda addresses the regrouped Pathfinder and Twinhorn forces. “The ancient battlefield is just beyond those trees. There, Ivvora and her comrades scattered an undead army, but the necromantic taint never left this land. Instead, the plants and animals have gradually absorbed the evil, encouraged by someone calling herself Mother Bloodleaf.

“We must strike as one, simultaneously attacking the corruption’s heart as well as the seedpods spread out around the swamp. Their destruction will unleash harmful energies, so we of the Twinhorn following shall head toward the center to ritually disperse that energy to keep it from festering anew! Each team should follow its Twinhorn mystic to an intended target, and from there, three blasts of a horn shall signal our attack. May Vildeis bless us as she did Ivvora before us!”
Medda, the Twinhorns, and the Pathfinders spread out and make their way through the woods to their striking positions. When all are in position, three blasts of a war-horn echo across the heavily forested battleground. As the Pathfinders rush toward their targets, startled figures with purple glowing eyes hurry toward the seedpods and the enormous dark flower at the heart of the swamp. A shriek carries over the battleground. “What treachery is this? My minions have fallen without so much as warning me? No matter, I shall rip out any trespassers’ souls and feed them to the blight!”

Table GMs, the Unaware Guardians condition is now in effect, in addition to the Helpful Spirits condition. The way to area Q is now open. Please move to that encounter area quickly.

I have placed the rest of your avatars in the starting area.

The ancient battleground has turned into a fetid swamp that fills the air with the scent of death and decay. Rusted weapons jut out from the patches of solid land. Here and there, skeletal remains and grimacing skulls clad in ruined iron peek out from the glowing mire. A seedpod pulsing with purplish energy grows on an islet across the swamp.

The swamp water glows visibly, providing dim light throughout the area.

The water is about 2 feet deep and functions as a shallow bog for which it costs 2 squares of movement to enter a square.

There is a huge fallen tree near the center of the map, about 10 foot tall. You would need to either climb it or slip under it.
Climb check or a more difficult Escape Artist check

You can see the seed pod in the distance, glowing with purple light.

You can see a goblin directing some sort of plant creature and two animals. All of them have purple eyes and flowers growing out of their flesh.

Kn: Nature for two animals

Helpful Spirits: The forest spirits that have been guiding your group are willing to open two connected portals that allow instantaneous movement between two trees. When a creature enters the area of the portal tree, they can appear in a space adjacent to the other portal tree. The portal lasts for one minute. Spells and effects do not travel through these portals.

One of you may attempt a difficult Kn: Nature or Spellcraft check. If you succeed, the two trees can be up to 120 ft. apart, otherwise they can’t be more than 60’ apart.

Any spells with a duration of less than 30 minutes have expired.

The goblin looks to be able to cast arcane spells.

The plant creature is a shambling mound. In addition to the normal plant traits, they are immune to electricity and resistant to fire.
Resist Fire 10

The boars are Dire Boars, which are too stubborn to admit they are dead.
ferocity is their own special.

Delay until Selune's action

You will need to choose two trees no more than 60’ apart for the portal when you use it.

Mun waits beside Selûne.

The goblin casts a spell and disappears!

Posting now, please apply when appropriate: On her turn Vanya becomes invisible casting vanish on herself then she moves towards the teleporting trees, hoping her friends placed them so they can teleport near the place where the goblin was (also, glitterdust or purge invisibility on the goblin would be nifty)

Your objective is the pod, not the creatures protecting it. Just a note to make that clear.
