The Stories MUST be Saved - even if we must fain marche into yon bowels of Hell...'s generally safer and friendlier upper-middle-class district to do it!

Character Name: Flora Mossgreen
Player Name: Michael Hallet
PFS #: 2608-18
Level: 9
Starting XP: 24
Starting PP/Fame: 28/42
Starting Gold: 3510
Progression: Normal
Flora's Strength are in nature exploration (Geography, Nature, Perception, and Survival). She can speak to the spirits of wood. One typical way she does this is by animating the wood and feather tribal headdress she wears to take the form of a flying bird that can be used to scout for her (elemental whispers - osprey familiar) the other is by coaxing magic out of stored wooden sticks (wands) with her excellent Use Magic Device skill.
In combat she deals decent single target damage. She recently acquired the kinetic blade infusion and can thus attack at range or in melee. She has a good AC, Fort and Reflex, but her Will lags somewhat behind

Player Name:: I'm Hiding In Your Closet
Character Name:
Sir Spenser Pellinore Quixote The Last, Marquis de Exupery (and his mighty steed, Lot the camel!)
PF # 40025-2
Level: 7
Starting XP 20
Starting PP/Fame 15/37
Starting Gold 5,678
Progression Standard
DowntimeCraft, Pergamano: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17 I've got a folio reroll I'll definitely want to use on that at the end if I haven't used it for anything else before then
@Little Lya: I'm familiar with the Prosperity Boon, but where DOES one get that Gladhandling thing?!?
As a Knight of the Tome, Sir Spenser is versed in skills both courtly and esoteric, and favors heavy weapons and an edge toward the offensive in battle. Touched by the Fey, and more recently, by the elements, the righteousness of his cause (namely, to SAAAAVE THE STORIEEEEEES!!!) leads him to rally in the face of fear, and sometimes to swat it back in Evil's face, HA-HA! He is a knight in shining armor in the truest sense of the term, and bears high at all times, the Banner of his mysterious lineage (don't forget, so long as you're near it, to add +3 to your own saving throws versus fear, and an additional +2 to your attack rolls when charging!)
His Valiant Steed Lot serves as his mount, companion, and most importantly, surrogate common sense, and spits in the face of Evil when not cracking its neck or striking fear in its heart (or, in one case quite some time ago, sitting on it), and has acquired a bit of a taste for fly potions if you got 'em!
Should Sir Spenser's greatsword miss its rightful mark, it's probably because his long, droopy mustache has fallen off again.

Hello, adventurers! Thanks all for checking in. I've been gone on a road trip and away from PbP for a few days but I'm glad to see we've got a team ready for this adventure. As game day gets nearer I'll check back in with more details/info/etc.

Gladhandling is a Bard - Street Performer archetype ability that replaced inspire courage.

Player Name: Jack Brown
Character Name: Faustus Sulpicious Volarius
Class/Level: Inquisitor of Asmodeus 9
PFS#: 788-6
Chronicle Number: This scenario will be: 28
Starting XP: 26
Starting Fame: 48
Starting Prestige: 9
Progression: standard
Starting Gold: TBD - playing a game tomorrow.
Day Job: Forgoing downtime for Expedition Manager (-6PP)
Note: this is a replay. I will be using one of my "survey replays"
Faustus is an Inquisitor of the First. He has the conversion inquisition, so as such, has exception social skills. When negotiations break down, he will use the final arbitration, his magical adamantine unholy reliquary heavy mace. He wears black enameled full plate (definitely not Hellknight plate, as he hasn't earned that, though he is a hellknight through the Chelaxian vanity), and has an iron mask (masterwork intimidate tool... this is the typical facemask of the Asmodean Inquisitors, so will not work if folks do not understand that...)
He typically speaks in an emotionless deadpan, and is very concerned as to whether or not 'your papers are in order'.

![]() |

Good lord - and you justify being a Silver Crusader HOW? That doesn't sound like a character who would even want to be seen in public with them.

![]() |

He has the trait of Asmodean Demon Hunter -- he supports fully the cause of driving chaos from Golarian... especially the demons of the Worldwound. Plus, he relishes the chance to help the high-brow paladins fall.

![]() |

Yes, but the Silver Crusade isn't about opposing Chaos at all - it's about advancing Good. Fighting demons at the Worldwound may be something those two agendas have in common, but it's otherwise completely different. You sound much more like a mole for Hell, especially with that latter interest, which is actively opposed to the Silver Crusade's agenda. ^_-
Far be it from me to say you can't or shouldn't (it's a pretty Asmodean move, after all), but from what I've seen, Faction membership is almost always for sincere (or at least complementary and in good faith) reasons.

![]() |

The Santa Gnome believes in the best of everyone, and welcomes the Asmodean (Even if its a bad idea). Hopefully the spirit of Crystal Hue will warm his heart (Or the fires of hell, whichever first).
I'm noticing we are a relatively bulky group with this composition so far, with plenty of healing!

GM Picatrix |

Well, scenarios started dropping for Outpost II and I mistakenly was given the Season 6 scenario Tapestry's Toil instead of this one, Tapestry's Trial, haha. Obviously an easy mistake. I'll have the correct one in my hands soon. In the meantime, for my ease let's everyone sign in on my google slide here.

![]() |

Survival: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (2) + 24 = 26 Day Job (Hunting Lodge)

![]() |

As it happens, there are a lot of things that actually make more sense for him to be a silver crusader. First, the Asmodean Demon Hunter. He has the former crusader boon (which gives him abyssal, which I think I missed on his character sheet). His Hellknight order is Order of the Gate.
Plus, as an inquisitor he doesn’t have the aura class feature, and he can say, with a straight face, that he on missions for goodness and law (take 10 for a 28 bluff!)
And, yes, I understand how this could be seen negatively. However, he has worked with paladins without issues. He may get annoyed by barbarians, but he is willing to work with them (cannon fodder is always needed)

![]() |

aaaalmost there.....
The young and talented Paladin of Shelyn spends her downtime in the streets of Absalom. Tending the sick and lonely, preaching the to the masses her praise of Shelyn, and the comfort that is within the concept of Inner Beauty.

![]() |

So, due to an unfortunately incident in Hell, Faustus's prestige totals have changed a little. His starting prestige will be 2 less than before (7).
I will redo the post this weekend when I update my character sheet.

![]() |

Father Nicholas will be spending his downtime getting ready for Crystal Hue this year.
Profession Toymaker: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23

GM Picatrix |

Okay, I just finished my first read-through. It's a really neat scenario with lots of choices that have real consequences and aren't all black-or-white. I'm excited to run it for y'all.
Father Nicholas, can you please sign in on the google slide when you get a chance? Thanks!
Looks like we're solidly in the 7-8 subtier at this point.

![]() |

Done

![]() |

Faustus is ready, having had a glimpse of wait awaits for him in the Infernal Bureaucracy. He is in no hurry to meet his final doom.

![]() |

Sorry everyone, I mistakenly signed up for two tables of this adventure. I have posted in Flaxseed to see if anyone wants to take my spot.
Enjoy the game.

GM Picatrix |

Looks like we're getting a (new) 6th PC; I'll wait to advance until they've checked in.

![]() |

Looks like we're getting a (new) 6th PC; I'll wait to advance until they've checked in.
Good to hear. Can you remove me from the game?

![]() |

I'm looking to be ready tonight, but I do see someone already slotted in. They put level 5 down however, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Might just be a placeholder until they can get the full character info in.

GM Picatrix |

Hm, I see that too.
I'd say first to actually complete sign-in gets the spot fairly. I haven't been in communication with anyone else about the spot.

Character Name: Grisaia

PFS #: 3217-17
Level: 8
Starting XP: 22
Starting PP/Fame: 33/38

I was going to ask you to sign in on my slide but I see you're already on it!

![]() |

We even have a good deal of Egorian Diplomacy

![]() |

the cleric of Shelyn and the paladin of Shelyn..
...AND the Cavalier of Shelyn!
Small world, Grisaia!

![]() |

Aye...the REAL pirate experience, that!
I have a ship of my own now, you know: The Count Ranalc's Revenge!!!

![]() |

GM - are there any Planar traits we should be aware of?

GM Picatrix |

Why yes, there are:
Strongly Law-Aligned: Creatures who are not lawful aligned take a –2 penalty on all Intelligence-, Wisdom-, and Charisma-based checks.
Enhanced Magic: A spell or spell-like ability with the lawful descriptor functions as if its caster level were 2 higher.
Impeded Magic: To cast a spell or spell-like ability with the chaotic descriptor, a caster must attempt a concentration check (DC = 20 + the level of the spell). If the check fails, the spell does not function but is still lost as a prepared spell or spell slot. If the check succeeds, the spell functions normally.

![]() |

Good thing a fair number of us are lawful then.

![]() |

A rare sign of competence, of that I am sure. Almost as apt as when I was sent to Hell by Zarta herself... I mean that in a good way.

![]() |

Ahhh fun times... One of these days I might be able to actually play that scenario, instead of running it 3 times.

![]() |

I'll have to find time to run it, now that i have played it twice!
