Morgan Vestalis |

I'm still here, purposefully waiting just a little before posting because a hard night of drinking would have had Morgan getting up later than everyone else!
As for the long japanese words, they threw me off too at first, but the comparison to final fantasy helped me mentally with that. That game had a bunch of weird crap I didn't understand, but was still all kinds of fun! Just making the mental shift that this is not the normal Pathfinder world, even though it seems like it at first, got me over the hump.

Henric Logos |

Definitely still involved. Though, FYI, unexpected work travel came up and I might be intermittent until March 7th.

I have a small request:
If some Golarion lore more on the important side which probably influences gameplay and PC/PC or PC/NPC interaction is modified, like the Ixion=Shelyn thing, could we make that freely accessible somewhere?
Might save you the insanity of going through it in PMs with everyone Sebecloki.
Shelyn stuff also affects me^^

Shi'Vatha |

Yep, then also edit my post that he said 'Lady Sarenae' instead of 'Lady Shelyn'. :)

Shi'Vatha |

Just making sure that the GM didn't miss my post?

Shi'Vatha |

Yep, but was also curious what the old priest would say about the whole children and reversing who would be upset at being compared to Ixion. :P

Ynja Eva Ragnavold |

Ynja, is a Military intelligence officer, she knows a plant when she meets one. This may or may not go well, but she is forcing her to think about what she has said.

Henric Logos |

Henric is near Shi'Vatha. He's been enjoying the stories told to the children, as he is unfamiliar with the details of the religious lore of the area.

Sebecloki |

I'm only posting this in games I'm running, because I'd hope to have most of the same people I'm already GMing for participate -- would anyone prospectively be interested in an Al-Qadim sort of game with build rules in the same ball park as what I usually propose? I wouldn't start it for another month or so, I just have this hankering itch to use my pile of Al-Qadim stuff, even just for a 1-off.

Shi'Vatha |

Haven't really played in Al-Qadim before. Have done faerun. Are you going to use PF or 3.5D&D?

(Moving this topic to the Discussion thread...)
I would argue that you could title your spoiler so as to make the conversation more readily accessible, e.g. In the courtyard or The Rusty Dragon.

Agreed. If it's addressed to only 1 player, people might avoid it.

Aleister, Lissala's Chosen |

Just an FYI,
I'm unsure what Ynja is using to stand in for Azlanti, but I seem to recall someone saying that Paizo frowned about foreign/nonsensical languages being used on their site.
This was several years ago(at least 3 or 4), so I could be mis-remembering or the policy could no longer be in affect, but I'm not gonna risk any sort of repercussions when I don't really need fancy letters to pull of speaking in another language.

Sebecloki |

I'm surprised bing can give that accurate of a rendering -- I can read it enough to tell it's pretty close:
סביה היה מתבייש לשמוע אותך. מדבר בכזו דם מדומה
Savith hayah mitabish (not sure how to vocalize that, its a hitpa'el participle as far as I can tell, but the root bush is an hollow root) leshamoah ot'kha. Mdaber bekazeh (? be + ke + zeh?) dam midamoah, or something like that.

Sebecloki |

I've never studied any of the syllabographic eastern languages -- I understand they're similar to Akkadian and Sumerian in that one sign can stand for multiple syllables, and can also be read ideographically. I was never very good at those kinds of writing systems -- the signs change over time and I'm not good at discerning the 'shape', or whatever you're supposed to do. It just looked like undifferentiated squiggles most of the time to me.

Sebecloki |

I guessed it was hebrew. Some special dialect? That's interesting, although i have no clue about it^^
I can do latin, chinese, traditional chinese and japanese, but that's it.
Did you do that in school? My little nephew is 1/2 Han, and is learning Mandarin alongside English bilingually, but I don't know if they have plans to make sure he learns the Classical form of the language too.

Brother Ionacu |
Note to all: I will be away next week (on vacation with the kids) and it's unlikely that I'll be able to post more than occasionally, if at all. So feel free to bot Ionacu as you see fit!

Me and thee setting in a tree
Monkey G, Chill-lax, Rpg-ing is mean to be fun, I know how much you like having a go at me but so publicly, A Pm would have got the below apology just as well. :P
To the other players, Me 'GM Panic' and 'Monkey God', have this fun 'thing'. Where we like to rib each other about our game play. But know this, we love and respect each other as good players should. It's all good fun, however, there is a time and place, sooo....
"Monkey god sir, I offer my hand, lets shake like fine RPGs fellows and agree to be nice to each other in this one. " :0)
Offers hand, lets see if he shakes it
The Bump of doom
In my defence, I do a LOT of flying to other timezones, and kind of lost track, being in Asia at the moment. Will be back in EU time from next week, bur thats no excuse I know.
Also the bump was for Shi'Vatha really. not the GM, just checking she was happy to reply to my PCs question, and checking she's OK, Real life wise.
But I should have made that clear and not posted in a rush.
I should have send her a PM, and held back on the Bump.
Sorry of it upset any one for not being clear or taking another root.
I hubby beg you forgiveness,

Added some more maps to the battlemaps presentation to illustrate area around shrine; the key points are that it sits next to a small lake in the center of the town, just south of it is a House Kaijitsu emporium/caravanserai, and in the Sandpoint Lake is a museum/shrine ship that is docked permanently facing the new shrine of Desna. It was sailed by a famous explorer.

Shi'Vatha |

Henric looked on in disappointment as Shi'Vatha was called away. He had sincerely enjoyed listening to the tales with the children. When Shi'Vatha told them to pay attention to the scenery, he wandered closer to where the minstrel from the inn was standing. At her sudden exclamation, he tries to look more closely at the sails in question.
[dice=Perception] 1d20 +10 (I doubt I will be able to do as well as Pai Song). Also, the Gardens are a mouthful. I could not pronounce that in any life..
Apologies! I must have missed the post where you came over to where Shi was! I would have said hello or waved or something IC if I had noticed it! Wanted you to know I wasn't ignoring you!

Ynja Eva Ragnavold |

No problem, things seem to have interrupted our happy meet up :)

Teiidae |

Hello everyone, I'm a new prospect that Sebecloki has allowed to jump into this game. I've played with some of you in the past and followed some of your games, I'm happy to play some ridiculous overpowered character with you. I have lots of character ideas I'm running with so I was curious, is there anything you think this party needs? Also I noticed the alignments looked fairly enough on the good and neutral axis, is there any objections if I played an evil character? I'm really easy going on this and my pms are open.

Shi'Vatha |

I have no objections as long as you don't do evil things in front of Shi, or where Shi can find out about them. He's LG and while he can allow an E to live (after all, they are mortal, and can change, unlike immortals like him, but can't change if they are dead), he won't hesitate to punish/arrest/attack someone doing something evil (like murder, etc). Anyone with a LG or NG should be able to live with an LE character who's behaving. A CG is another matter, depends on their life outlook...

![]() |

Welcome Teiidae!
Good thing you ask that, but i guess you know yourself it's better to stay in the light and avoid the darkness alltogether ;)
The paladin concept here is a little wonky, since i'm not planning on playing a LG good character.
Indeed, the idea is to focus on samurai warrior poet and become a devoted muse later, idealizing a priest/knight of Shelyn.

Hello everyone, I'm a new prospect that Sebecloki has allowed to jump into this game.
Good to have you on board old bean. :)
Playing Evil can be a lot of fun, I think most of use have done so at one point or another, As MG said its allowed. So make up that evil doer and jump on in :O
PS Round a nice new image of my PC Here {but with one pistol}
