Hello everyone! Excited to get started.

This should be very interesting, especially with so many people.

Morgan: I knew our blacksmiths were gonna end up ridiculously different.

Hmm, I'll need to play with my formatting on the profile to get the skills and stats and links to show up the way I want them. Fortunately it's mostly just copy/pasta but I don't have time now. At least the profile is correct and up to date.

Character sheet is in the 'unfettered eidolon hp (40)' link. Picture in the picture link.

Of Note : He doesn't currently have the wings. Those grow in at 5th level. But otherwise it's how he currently looks. Basically vaguely cat/tigerish heavily muscled taur with black and white and blue fur and blue eyes (and a vividly blue tongue when it shows).

It looks like you have HP. We are doing Wounds and Vigor, and Armor as Damage Reduction -- you might want to check the recruitment post again to go over these kinds of details this weekend while you're working on formatting.

Nope, I just forgot to edit the template I use for the links/spoilers. :( If you check the second page of the character sheet, you'll see the HP there is actually supposed to be the Vigor (40), while the DR is under the save box (4 + 4 = 8/Adamantine).

Although, looking at it, I seem to have miscalculated it. It should be 10x3 (3 levels of Eidolon at 1d10 per and maxed rolls per recruitment thread) + 5 (from Mythic) = 35, not 40. So my bad on that. I'll update the spoiler/links now to get that correct. I'll upload a new sheet in a week or if that's ok, in case anything else needs to be corrected.

BTW: I'm dotted in, I just deleted the dot in post after posting it to keep the thread clean. Still puts it on my campaign page and adds me to the player list.

M Human incanter 3/mageknight 3/blacksmith 3 | Vigor 48/48 | Wounds 36/36 | Def 17, FF 13 | DR 10/Armor | F+8, R+6, W+7 (+1 vs magic) | Init: +4; Perception +6 | CMB: +9; CMD: 23 | Stamina 6/6

Actually, the Vigor rules are:
*Wounds and vigor. Double vigor at 1st level. Otherwise take half as minimum if you roll under that amount.

So, if you don't roll it would be 20+5+5. Which, now that I type it out, does indeed match your 30, but for different reason that will matter as we level. You do have the option of rolling for vigor for levels 2 and 3, and you take the roll or half, whichever is higher.

That does remind me, though - I did not add the bonus HP from mythic to my Vigor, need to do that.

2d10 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7

10 it is, how unfortunate. With my access to relatively consistent self healing i think i'll be okay, though.

Edit: I also deleted my original post in the gameplay thread, it's my preferred method to dot.

you get half if you roll under half for vigor each level

Yeah, half is five, twice is 10 for the two rolls, total. Then, plus 20 for level 1 max double gives 30, plus 5 for Mythic brings me to 35 total VP, 36 WP.

Sorry, my brain is obviously mixing up stuff. (I was in two similar recruitments with diff characters at the time). Apologies. The new job is not helping with concentration.

Vigor: 2d10 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8

So, 35 Vigor, and no need to change anything. Yay. :P

I just went ahead, He did state we would be starting in sand point, so a letter of word got to us, we where sent for or just there at the right time. My feeling is it will be along those lines. I just find its always helpful to have a play with the voice of the PC and how they would act in the mundane if you see what I mean.

Yep, I understand and agree. Just don't like to post until the GM says we can is all.

Shi is already in Sandpoint, as he's been recovering there with his 'family' since escaping his bondage.

Hey there!
In coordination with Sebecloki i'll be joinging the game.
Wanted to ask, what are some things currently missing in the party setup?

We have, so far :

1) Eidelon Eidelon/Rogue : Shi'Vatha
2) Elan Psion Telepath/Criptic : Ynja
3) Half-Giant Blacksmith/Prodigy : Mishal (Not sure what either class does)
4) Human School Savant Arcanist / Master of Many Styles Qinggong Monk : Ionacu
5) Human incanter 3/mageknight 3/blacksmith 3 : Morgan (3 classes?)

I'd say we're missing some sort of cleric/healer type, as well as a buff/bard type. A druid/pet type also. Not sure we have a front line fighter either or not (not sure if a mageknight is, and monks can be or can't be, depending on build), maybe the half-giant?

M Human incanter 3/mageknight 3/blacksmith 3 | Vigor 48/48 | Wounds 36/36 | Def 17, FF 13 | DR 10/Armor | F+8, R+6, W+7 (+1 vs magic) | Init: +4; Perception +6 | CMB: +9; CMD: 23 | Stamina 6/6

Yeah, 3 classes via the Gestalt HOP feat. My blacksmith levels may or may not keep up with other class levels, depending on how many mythic tiers we get.

I was thinking it might be helpful for everyone to give a tl;dr on their characters, just explaining what your top thing or three will be.

The tl;dr for Morgan is that he is essentially a hit-really-hard guy. Through various size-change shenanigans, he can get 6d6 damage die on his weapon, have a melee range of 30ft, and still keep up a decent defense at 20 Defense and DR 12/Armor when buffed. In addition, he can sunder really good, with an extra 2d6 dice to sunder and the ability to sunder natural armor or natural attacks. He can also craft all the things, and repair sundered magic items, and has a good knowledge spread. He is definitely very melee-oriented.

Class links, for reference, all from Spheres:
Incanter
Mageknight
Blacksmith

M Human incanter 3/mageknight 3/blacksmith 3 | Vigor 48/48 | Wounds 36/36 | Def 17, FF 13 | DR 10/Armor | F+8, R+6, W+7 (+1 vs magic) | Init: +4; Perception +6 | CMB: +9; CMD: 23 | Stamina 6/6

Also, just so everyone is aware, the Blacksmith class has the following ability which essentially acts as an all-day buff. Since we have two Blacksmiths in the party, each player will get to have two of the following buffs up every day. Each player can choose different buffs, and can change them each day.
.
.
.
Maintenance (Ex) Grant self + 5 allies one of the following bonuses each day:
. . Armor Maintenance Reduce ACP by 1, increase armor bonus by 1, clothing can be counted as armor for this
. . Clarifying Reinforcements +1 competence bonus to Will saves
. . Cobbling Ignore first square of difficult terrain each round
. . Fortifying Reinforcements +1 competence bonus to Fort saves
. . Heavy-Duty Reinforcement +3 to hardness and hit points of all weapons and armor, weapons can ignore 1 hardness vs sunder or objects
. . Pack Straps Treat Str as 2 higher for carrying capacity
. . Polish Deflect one ray attack per day
. . Quickening Reinforcements +1 competence bonus to Ref saves
. . Sharpen Weapons +2 to all damage rolls with manufactured weapons

Shi's main schtick is that he's the ultimate specialist. His entire body can be remade, either when he levels up, or via application of a spell from a wand with UMD. He can have insane skill rolls thanks to racial bonuses from using his evolution pool (He's currently set up as a face, scout, and stealth/rogue type with +18 Diplo/Perception, +19 Disable Device, and +23 Stealth). Basically, he can vanish in front of your eyes, sneak past guards, pick locks silently, and talk you out of your pants.

However, he could at next level completely rebuild to have massive bonuses to a knowledge skill, or multiples, or acrobatics, or healing, or intimidation, or UMD (imagine a +16 to activate magic items at level 3).

Additionally, because he's an eidolon, he is always a decent melee person, even while small. He will continue to increase natural attacks, gain elemental on them, gain more attacks, and gain strength and dex as he levels up. This costs him basically one of his classes, but is worth it for the flexibility.

Finally, as an outsider, he doesn't need to eat or sleep, so he's a 24/7 guard with darkvision, and with his perception, it'll be very hard to sneak up on the party without him noticing.

Downside is, if he does die, it takes a higher level spell to bring him back (limited wish, wish, miracle, or true resurrection). If he's sent back to his dimension, he'd have to be gated back in again (cheaper than limited wish).

Ynja is brains, she's an officer type, a strategic planner, both in war time and peace.
She is versatile and durable, willing to do what it takes to keep the team alive and on track.

Shi mostly just does the right thing, and tries to enjoy himself along the way. He doesn't take himself, or others, too seriously. He likes food, even though he doesn't have to eat. He prefers things with very strong flavor. So he snacks on horseradish roots, dumps ghost peppers in his stew, eats extra sharp cheddar with mustard sauce, and so on. It doesn't have to be hot, it just has to be intense.

This is why have a playing start is a good idea, rather than meeter this info out about your PC in a sudo-meta game way. You get to introduce yourself and great bits of background like that.

Not saying its wrong to hand it out here, just to me, it feels better when played out in game play, where its more fun. :) This is just my view, not saying I am right.

Well, you don't need to give out too detailed information, but something like good melee, healer, controll caster, etc. is valuable information.
Tends to help fill different roles^^

I have no lcue about the spheres stuff though.
Got some ideas what i want to do and Shi'Vatha provided all the information i really neeeded. Thanks!

Mishal is going to have a little bit of support through being our second Blacksmith, but in combat is going to be specialized in single-target lockdown, grappling foes while on fire and burning them alive with some pretty respectable damage, all things considered.

Looking at 3d6 damage per round from Fire Wielder to enemies within 5 feet, plus a small amount of damage from Prodigy's imbue for nature, and a gradually increasing "on-fire" damage to enemies nearby.

The most important bit is taking a priority target at least temporarily out of commission.

That seems like frontliners are abundant, but healing, buffing and also arcane magic as well as ranged combat are missing a bit?
Guess pets aren't really necessary with gestalt.

Male Azlanti Pureblood Bloodlord 3/Monk(Tattoo Monk)

I'm not sure if all that posting in gameplay is such a good idea, at least with the OK from the GM.

I get the concept, but I might be annoyed if I was a GM and several of my PCs started posting before I got to post an opening scene.

Anyways, Aleister is an interesting concept, a 'magic user' who doesn't actually cast spells.

The bloodlord gives him access to 4 bloodlines(two sorcerer, two bloodrager), that are generally paired(I have two that are the same, then two that are different, but the overall theme is kept).

As the bloodlord is a non-spellcasting class, they get the bonus spells from their bloodlines as 1/day SLA. He's also able to prepare which bloodline powers he wants each day.

On the monk side of thing, he's all about unarmed strikes, and monk tattoos. I was going to give him a weapon, but the Horrifically OP mythic improved unarmed strike feat is *awesome*, so I decided to forego a weapon in favor of that.

He also uses runic feats, and power word spells(expanded via a 3pp book), and a bit of cleric(via the gestalt feat).

Finally, thanks to his build, he knows a crap ton of languages.

Oh, just an FYI, he doesn't actually use or go by 'Lissala's Chosen' at all in game. I had to add something as just Aleister was already taken.

Brother Ionacu is a melee stunner + Arcanist Counterspell specialist. I'll probably Gestalt into Magus at some point...

Gm was clear that we will be starting in Sand point and some players have there back story's that they are already there, with a good chance they would have meet, so I can't see any real harm done.

It also gives a push to players who have made PCs and should no be letting the GM know they are ready to play.
:)

@GM Hi Gm you happy with some of us knowing each other in Sandport.

I'm fine with people posting. Still room for whoever finished their character. I'll start posting tomorrow sometime.

I'm working on my character, but have a sick kid at home currently and need to work^^

I'm looking at ranged combat with heal/buff/skills and maybe a mix of divine and arcane magic. Currently considering between 3 combinations and nailing it down. I'm using mainly Paizo stuff only.

Still waiting for people to post their introductions in the inn.

Just to clarify the setting a bit -- I'm going to be using a mash-up of Golarion and Mystara. The AP doesn't require much of the Golarion setting besides Varisia, and all that fits in fine to Norwold, they're the same kind of area. The Mystara setting is pretty open ended too, so anything in Golarion can easily be slotted in, like Thassilon, the deities as Immortals, and any other fluff we need. We can deal with any issues that come up on a case by case basis.

For instance, Aroden died during the Wrath of the Immortals conflict, which was a metaplot thing in Mystara.

Norwold is a open northern territory with different independent city-states. So, Magnimar fits in fine. The Shoanti can also easily be in the wilderness. The characters from Tian Xia are from Skothar, which is the Asian region of Mystra.

The major new element this introduces is that Norwold is being fought over by the Thyatian Empire, a Rome analogue, the Heldannic Knights, who are like the Knights Templar, and the remnants of the Alphatian Empire, all of which may show up from time to time. There are also some independent pirate city-states.

Is there an immortal (diety) from Mystara that would be LG and a better choice (more wide ranging churches, lots of Paladins) then Iomedae in Mystara? If so, we can tweak Shi's background to be associated with that church. Just need to know (link to a wiki or something would be awesome but not required).

Just to be clear -- I'm waiting for everyone to introduce themselves at the inn; it seems like a lot of you already know this, but the first scene is the re-dedication of a cathedral during the Swallowtail festival. I want everyone to get acquainted before we move on to that.

I'm still unclear about who exactly is playing and what the characters are, so I really do need you to all do a little RP at the inn so I can get a sense of what I'm working with.

It would be ideal if we could get that done this week.

Sandpoint is as described in the relevant Paizo materials, except I'm adding a large castle which is just off the map to which I posted links the spoiler with maps and images at the top of the campaign thread.

This castle is the seat of House Deverin, the aristocratic house from which the current mayor comes.

No worries. No crazy hurry. Just want to make sure no one is waiting on me when I'm waiting on the pcs to get introduced.

Also, just to expand on the note about Sandpoint Castle. That will be another adventure site if pcs want to explore it.

I'm a Blacksmith 3 on one side of the gestslt, with the other side being Prodigy, from Champions of the Spheres. I also took Gestalt, from HOP, with dreamscarred press' Aegis.

As for mythic, while i did have things written down for Mythic on my end, they don't appear to have made it onto the final version here. Champion//Guardian, and when i get onto my computer tomorrow i'll make the adjustments and actually add on the mythic stuff. My bad, been kinda all over the place lately.

Scarab Sages

Defense 38|18 Armor DR: 7/adam or Huge. Crit Def: +25 Vig 87 Wnd 42 (Thresh 21) F +24, R +30, W +27 (+4 vs. Mind Affecting effects); +2 vs. enchantments, +4 vs. poison Aura courage (10 ft.) Init +23; Senses darkvision 60 ft., low-light vision; Perception +22

20 CHA came from the alternate racial trait "kindred-raised".
Removed that though, since i prefer to have keen senses and skill focus perception :D
Everything should add up now.

Male Azlanti Pureblood Bloodlord 3/Monk(Tattoo Monk)

I'll post tomorrow. Intended to make one tonight, but just am way to tired(only got a few hours of sleep last night). Heading to bed now.

In coordination with Sebecloki i changed something up and took 2 HOP feats. That stuff is ridiculous^^
Will post more over the course of the day as well.
