Player Name: Big Joe
Character Name: Omero Tegus
PFS #: 20941-17
Faction: Dark Archive
Day job: Profession (barrister): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Omero is a Chelaxian Paladin of Iomedae who aspires to one day join one of the great orders of law that live both within and outside of the Empire of Cheliax. To this end he chooses to live his life by the law almost to the exclusion of anything else.
Due to Omero's height, size, and outward attitude he can easily come across as gruff, uncaring, and even a bit frightening. If you can get past what he puts on as his people facing front you will find a man who simply wants to live a life of order and bring that same order to a world lost to chaos.

Player Name: Cwethan
Character Name: Ella Quickblade
PFS #: 182453-10
Faction: Sovereign Court
Day job: Craft (Alchemy): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Ella is a Brevic noble with a blade as fast as her mind. If someone's cause catches her fancy she'll move heaven and earth to see it through, but she can be very fickle about who exactly will be given that trust. For herself, pursuing the cause of reuniting Brevoy has led her to make alliance with certain members of the Society who trade in favors of that kind of coin.
Ella's a fairly skillsy character, but she also is happy to take her turn on the frontlines.

Feel free to sign up and make yourselves at home! Welcome everyone! I am a rather new GM to the PbP scene, but if anyone here knows me - I am very passionate about this system. I hope you will all join me for a great time!
Now, I don't know the rules about starting early, but if everyone is ready to go with their characters, I can start whenever people would like! Just let me know with your intro for preference of when to start - as soon as possible, or wait till official start date!
Also, the link to the maps should be ready, so feel free to place your mini's and information there!

Player Name: Sedoriku
Character Name: Genryl Vinebrewer
PFS #: 108507-07
Faction: Grand Lodge
Day job: Profession (Wine taster): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Genryl is a cleric of Halcamora. He constantly travels around to different vineyards to try their wine on a sort of continuous pilgrimage. He has a constant supply of wine stashed in his bag and will regularly share Halcamora's bounty with the people around him, whether that's just wine or magic and blessings as well.
He's too tall for a dwarf but definitely too hairy, stocky and goshdarn SLOW for a human, Genryl had a human mother and dwarven father, but was raised by his varisian aunt and uncle who own a vineyard. As such he does have more than a few varisian flairs, an appreciation for the importance of colors, a love of travel, knowledge of empyreal lords, and, of course, Mother's old harrow deck.
I was getting Genryl ready and realized that I don't have access to two of the chronicle sheets from his last two games (they were evergreens and run by the same GM. I've contacted them already.) I've been learning the hard way you have to actually make a second copy or download docs in Drive, or when the original author deletes them they disappear from you drive as well. Once I have those, I'll finish leveling up Genryl (He's supposed to be level 2 to my surprise!) and make some sales and purchases from there.

Hey team, just checking in with everyone to see what’s up. Everyone has cool characters and I’m excited to see what you all got! How are we all going. Did we want to start at the announced date, or did we wanna get into this early? What do people feel like?

![]() |

I would recommend sticking with announced start date for the event to avoid any issues with characters not being ready and to help stay within the stated rules for the event. Also there is still a chance people may drop out and others come into this session before the officially listed start date.
I'll put my VO hat away now and my player hat back on. I am looking forward to an entertaining session.

![]() |

I'd as soon stick with the original start date as well.
Excited to get going then though!

![]() |

If everyone was committed and ready by then, I wouldn't be opposed to starting earlier. But I am also perfectly fine with waiting for the original start date (which could be as early as midnight of the date in New Zealand [or earlier, but I don't know of any earlier time zones]).

![]() |

That is perfectly fine guys. We will start on time then!

![]() |

Okay, it's much later than I planned, but I finally got Genryl updated to level 2! He can finally bless everyone in the party at once so if you ever want to be enlarged for a round all you need to do is ask! (or if you need the effects of an endure elements, though that's going to be less useful overall. Dang needing an 8th level domain power to replace, Luck would have been a thousand times more useful.)
Part of finalizing his build for second level is selling/buying gear! He's just going to sell his Leather Lamellar and longspear and buy a masterwork chain shirt and masterwork longspear, and pick up 2 vials of Alchemist's fire. Would some scrolls of delay or nutralize poison sound like a good idea?

![]() |

I’ve got my Init and Perc entered on the GM’s link. Could someone please copy my icon over there? I post from my phone and I’ve never been able to do that. Thanks so much in advance.

Hey team, how are we all going? I have noticed that some people haven't been posting every day - which I am okay with, but I would like to remind people that we have a set amount of time to get this game completed.
Is there anything I can do to help move things along? Or is it just the nature of the scenario that people are not too interested in?

![]() |

You are doing fine, GM. Investigation scenarios are hard on PBP games for some reason. It’s hard to remember details and some characters aren’t built for social situations, so they sort of automatically take a step back while the investigation is happening.

![]() |

Hey everyone,
You might have noticed I haven’t posted in a long while (okay it’s only been two weeks at most but in PBP time that can still be a while.) I didn’t have an amazing and earth shattering emergency or reason for not posting, which would have made this easier to post. Life just got… busy and stressful.
I knew some stress would be coming and that I might be a bit busy, but things well exceeded what I thought. At first I was just busy (and to be honest, a little lazy) and didn’t post for a day or two, but things starting snowballing and I soon realized I hadn’t posted for days and needed to post something longer and more explanatory than a quick apology, but I didn’t have the time, motivation, or emotional fortitude.
One thing I sometimes do when stressed is become avoidant of some things, especially things that are emotionally charged. Last week was one of the most emotionally draining weeks I have had in a long time. Monday started with seeing a friend of four years off because she has stage four cancer and had to go back to the UK. I had to say goodbye to students and teachers I have taught/worked with for years (which can happen any year but was harder than usual this year.) Having to say goodbye to people is something I handle terribly and I was often going home drained and not wanting to do anything or just wanting to sleep. Additionally, the longer I went without posting here the guiltier I felt about it, which made me want to push this off further.
I shouldn’t have stopped posting here and I am truly sorry if I have made anyone wait, slowed down games at all, or have caused you any worry. I am physically okay, and will be emotionally okay, and work has slowed down some (next week might pick up a little but nowhere near what it was.)
If I can I’d love to keep playing Genryl and this scenario, but it has been a long time and I understand if it would be better that I drop from the game.
Sorry if you have/had to read this a few times, I’m posting it in all of the games I am in currently.

Aw shoot! No, RL decided to drop eveything on me at once! It's not your, or the scenario's, fault!

![]() |

No problem at all mate, this is why we play on this medium! I’m trying to push everyone along without just giving things away! Happy to take this as slow as we need to! Post when you can. ☺️

Sorry about the blackout period. My computer died and I am restricted from accessing the site at work. I am back up and running now though. Thank you in advance for understanding.
Joe

![]() |

Hey team, I am not trying to rush things, but we have less then a month left and we have more than half the scenario left.
This is my first event game, so I am not familiar with how much over we can go. Take this as a not so subtle nudge.

![]() |

That's alright. I am hoping more combat instead of intrigue will interest the people! We don't have long left, only the final few encounters with the enemy faction! Lets do this guys! :)

![]() |

Ah, I thought she'd stepped back before drinking the potion, so I didn't realize I was able to get an AoO. That said, I've definitely been less active than I'm happy with, and I really do apologize for that.

![]() |

Sorry, my daily scheduale has been thrown through the wringer lately and I haven't been using a computer much! Work will return to normal next week and I'll probably have more time to post, and be doing less in the afternoons evenings. Hopefully.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

The Boon Goblin shows up at our table. Everyone please roll a d20 and on a roll of 19-20 please roll an additional d4!
Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 20
?: 1d4 ⇒ 4

![]() |

Boo(n)?: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Ah boo!
But it's great you got a boon, GM Tealk. You deserve one after how spotty our group has been at posting!

![]() |

Oh Genryl. That's not how i'm looking at it at all. I was really hoping to that this game would get a lot of traction. It's a very interesting spin on intrigue, and I loved playing over PbP when I got my chance. I just hope you all enjoyed it somewhat, and that it didn't feel like a chore...
I do hope that everyone at least found it interesting.

![]() |

Thank you everyone for playing. Please find your chronicles here. Let me know if I need to change/add anything.

![]() |

Great job, GM! Sorry things kind of dragged on with the investigation section, but you did a very fine job and it is greatly appreciated. Thanks for running for us!

![]() |

Chronicle looks good - thanks for running!
Investigation can always lag a bit in PbP, but I don't think that was on you at all. I know for my part I definitely had an unrelated slowdown in all my games around that time (irl stuff that really did need the time), but I'm sorry it impacted our momentum :-/
