Repeating the Drake encounter makes no sense within the story. It is possible that we could make an argument for repeating the Ritual encounter just completed and we could potentially do that today if we run all three events together but then we would mostly be going through the motions to gain another group success (and we are close to a threshold). The scenario implies we should repeat one of the full fighting the undead encounters but there is no way we would complete that before the next section begins on Saturday. So unless at least three of you want to rerun the Ritual encounter, the quick version, then I think we are taking a break and saving your resources.

There are two possible encounters in this last section. You may or may not have time for both. Please choose which you wish to face first:
1)Eshimka’s undead army - Multiple lower CR creatures
2)A shadowy portion of Eshimka that the powerful nightwalker has torn from herself to augment her forces. - A single higher CR creature - considered the more difficult encounter for most groups.
Rule of two applies - the first two players to post in agreement with each other will determine the direction of play.

Wow. Eshimka looks like something you'd see in the form of a late-1980s/early-1990s action-figure. EACH SOLD SEPERATELY!!!
I'm afraid I'm going to have to vote for the lower-CR army, in any case - if we get to do both, it's more climactic that way, and if not, it's the safer option and I, at least, am a level shy of having real fighting potential.

Hi guys, do you think this is the final battle? Who has the summon monster 3 scroll?
GM, can we estimate what CR this encounter is?

The current encounter is CR 6.
This is the final section of the game. There are two possible encounters so if you complete this one in time then you have the option of the other one or can retreat to safety.
The game is scheduled to end next Saturday or earlier if we accumulate enough successes before then.

Volsung, I have moved your starting position up closer to the circle to a square that has been vacant the entire time. The vegetation is no longer considered difficult terrain nor does it provide cover.
I have also placed 15ft cone templates to the side of the map if you wish to use them for colour spray.
If you haven't had a chance to act by the time the rest of the party do, then I will try to bot you.

@Volsung: I'm a little confused about your "Rapier of Iridescent Bubbles" - is it a magic item, a prestidigitation effect or the like, pure 'window dressing', or just your sword's name?

Well, that went much quicker than I expected. :-)
With the final Festrog fairly well doomed, do you wish to carry on into the next (and final) encounter as soon as you take it down? (I am looking forward to reporting that success.)
You have two rounds of healing available between the two encounters but unless I missed something, none of you has taken damage so narratively the nightshade could appear and you can continue.
Remember, you also have your blessings still available, I think none of you has used yours yet.

As far as blessings go... Makon choose unstoppable wrath.. none of my weapons or abilities actually did or do any of the abilities undead are normally immune to so that blessing was actually wasted on me..(blessing would have been great for a wizard or other magic user..I'm basically a barbarian that can grow long arms..)
Anyway, I'm not using my blessing because it's useless...

Why did you choose it, then?
For what it's worth, given that you haven't used it, if I were DM I'd have no problem letting you retcon your choice.

As we are continuing (once the blue festrog is killed), I want to better explain the mechanics of the "hazard" in this area. Basically, every even numbered round Eshimka prepares a special surprise, if she is not interrupted or diverted then you experience her gift the following round.
Her options are a 20-ft-radius area of effectively greater dispel magic; a standing stone being hurled at you for some serious bludgeoning damage; a negative-energy burst to everyone in the area.
During the preparation round (even numbers) you can attempt to disrupt her efforts by using a ranged attack and doing sufficient damage, or by a more difficult bluff check as a standard action. If a sufficiently higher amount of damage is done or the bluff check exceeds the DC by 5 then you help another group as well and can pass them the Pathfinder's Teamwork benefit now revealed on slide 5.
FYI - Tofang's shot was sufficient to disrupt but did not do as much damage as he expected.
As to the blessings - I am willing to allow a one time change in your choice before the end of the current round.

Did we “restore balance to an area by closing a planar portal”? That’s one of the goals of the Concordance, and I’m thinking we did with the whole sealing the rift ritual.

This convention has been busier for me than I initially expected so I won't have your chronicle sheets ready until Monday or Tuesday. This gives Tofang time to post his details too.
I hope you all enjoyed the game.
I would very much like constructive feedback, how could I have improved your experience? What did I do you particularly liked? What have you seen or done that may work well for me to use in the future? Any other feedback you have.
You can either post it here or PM me, your preference.

Finally ready, so sorry for the delay. The game has been fully reported to the team and the link for chronicles is here.
Please check yours for accuracy and let me know of any needed corrections ASAP. Once everyone has confirmed they have downloaded their chronicle, I will close the link and close this game.
Thank you all very much for playing and tolerating my errors and delays. For me, this was a good first PbP MTS experience and I look forward to more in the future. I hope to play with each of you again, be it PbP, VTT, or F2F.
I should be at PaizoCon, Origins, and GenCon, so if you are at any of those, feel free to say hi in person. I would be delighted to put a face with a name.
