Makon is from the small city of Artume in the River Kingdoms. Born of a human father and a half-orc mother, Makon was raised in the human tradition. His father was a leather worker by trade and passed that skill along to his son. Makon despised the in-fighting and politics of the River Kingdoms as he grew-up. Viewing the Outlaw Council as nothing but a sham.

When he was an adolescent, a favored uncle of his was imprisoned by an neighboring up-start kingdom. The trumped up charges of treason, were nothing more than an extortion attempt to get Makon's father to pay a hefty ransom. After, his uncle was released Makon vowed to fight injustice and false imprisonment, wherever and when ever he could. So when he became of age he joined the Liberty's edge faction of the pathfinders.

Makon adventures primarily to fulfill his desire to see his own brand of justice dealt to evil doers and those who false imprison others. However, rekindling his family's fortunes, is also another motivation.
