Starting XP: a lot 13
Starting Fame: even more 22
Starting Prestige: best known frog in the Inner Sea! 18
Starting Gold: Not nearly enough to keep a frog in hookers and blow 4470
Day job (roll): when you look this good you don't need a day job
Grandfather Grippli |
So who here has not adventured with Grippli? Because this frog has some weird ass abilities.
I can end conditions by making a diplomacy check! Are you blinded? Deafened? Not any more! If you are within 30' of me I can remove conditions as a standard action.

Please fill out Slides #2 and #3 on the presentation/slide deck.
#2 has things like saves and initiative
#3 has skills.
This will help me a lot to keep the game flowing.
Thank you!
Neal Shadowhand |
You've mentioned knowledge local in 2 different lines...am I allowed to roll it twice? Once for each check?
GM.Silbeg |
yes, they are two different checks.

So, to be clear...
the skill entries are for opportunities for when it make sense for me to make a skill roll (knowledge, perception, spellcraft, and sense motive are the obvious times). Just so that we don't wait.
But, remember, you can also use the macros to cut and paste yourself!
Sorry about any misunderstanding. I do want you rolling your checks, unless they need to be secret or something.
Thank you all for entering them in.

*Woot! Add it to the collection!*

What Neal yells when running in
For Lemford <3
Neal Shadowhand |
Hey Mr GM :)
Just checking if everything is ok in Frozen Town and if you are waiting on any of us to do anything? :)
GM.Silbeg |
Nope... Just hadn't gotten to post.
Neal Shadowhand |
<3 just making sure you're ok
GM.Silbeg |
Post is in. Lemford lives!!!
(if only barely)
GM.Silbeg |
With tomorrow being a travel day for the Nederlanders, I think we'll put this on hold after today.
There is a chance that we could get together in meat-space to finish this up (probably not at the con, but who knows). I will bring stuff to the con.

Sounds good, I'll bring Neal to the US :)
Bel Canto |
I don't appreciate you saying "Bel doing next to nothing". Everyone is in delay, and that is somehow my fault? Neal has not responded to my moving (I did move myself), so it's not my fault everyone is in delay. I am playing my character my way. Why single me out?
GM.Silbeg |
As stated in the hangout, I'd like you all to do this...
Create a spoiler per round, stating your actions with rolls.
Example:
Move: Move up to the 'broken door'
Standard: I push my way through the door.
CMD vs DC14: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
I move through the door.
move: I move up the crocodile infested moat
standard: I jump over the moat
acrobatics DC15: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
and so on...
post 3-5 rounds, as you are comfortable with. Just please keep track if/when you'll need more.

If it seems like there is a standoff happening here, it is because there are.
Mechanically there are some major issues with this encounter, in the way diplomacy works (which appears to be misunderstood by the author).
You've neither triggered his conditions to attack, nor actually asked him for anything.
So, I am in a holding pattern, for the moment.
Neal Shadowhand |
I thought we asked him to come us so we could give him a cure?
GM.Silbeg |
I thought we asked him to come us so we could give him a cure?
And you saw his reaction to that, right?
GM.Silbeg |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

But, that would, mechanically, require a diplomacy check to make the “official” request.

Please let me know if you have trouble downloading them.
(yes, they are in US Letter, not that silly A4)
