Now Saint Gudule could quibble that roll if he wanted to.

that roll should be a lot higher considering inspiration, good hope, and blessing of fervor

Actually, he can't. He gains another immediate after his own turn :)

You used liberating command as a swift action on your turn. You can then take an immediate action after your turn, but it uses the swift action up from your next turn. It isn't important now though as the construct has been defeated.
@Barm, you're totally right, I'm not sure how I missed Freodwen before the construct.
Trutzburg's weapon easily cuts into the construct, severely damaging its vital components.
Freodwen's second and third arrow hit the construct creature and penetrate its metal body.
Regnum's first bullet is enough to put the construct down, so he turns the rest of his shots towards the lich. The lich has no protection against new-fangled firearms and takes quite the beating from the barrage of bullets.
The construct's next turn would have been to swallow whole Barm which is probably my favorite monster ability.

I'd love that you'd craft monsters with the specific ability "Swallow Whole (Barm)" xD

I have absolutely no kinky comment to do on the swallowing thing. Swapping Protection from Energy (L3) for Cure Serious wounds and using my Lesser rod of Empower on it
Baied rushes to Barm's side, and heals him, using her rod to adds more curative magic

He then fires off a quickened magic missile at Barm!

The cold energy blasts all of you slightly, but the Lich is destined to die at your hands. Your attacks easily take him down.
After you take a minute to catch your breath, you notice that the construct has a very unusual clockwork heart piece.
When viewing it with Detect Magic, it has an overwhelming magic aura/
This is the Heart of Nhur Athemon.
This multi-chambered clockwork device is about the size of an ogre’s fist. Tiny mechanisms whir and grind, powering a constant thump reminiscent of a heartbeat. When placed upon the chest of a humanoid creature, the Heart of Nhur Athemon phases into the chest cavity, consuming and replacing the user’s natural heart, and granting the user a +4 enhancement bonus to Constitution. Anyone who touches the Heart of Nhur Athemon must succeed at a DC 25 Will save or be compelled to place the heart against her chest (this is a mind-affecting compulsion effect).
A successful DC 30 caster level check made as part of a remove curse spell or similar effect forces the Heart of Nhur Athemon to phase out of its host’s chest. Because the Heart of Nhur Athemon consumes its host’s natural heart, destroying or expelling the item while it is keeping a character alive kills the character 1 round after it’s removed, unless a restoration spell is immediately applied to the host.
The heart is also the phylactery of the Azlanti lich Nhur Athemon. If Nhur Athemon is destroyed, the phylactery immediately begins to rebuild the lich’s body nearby. The process takes 1d10 days, and begins anew if interrupted so long as the phylactery is not destroyed.

Six stone pews crowd a dimly lit chapel. At the north end of the room, a flight of seven slim stairs leads up to a stage. A massive curtain of thick black fabric completely obscures the north wall beyond the stage area. Two different sets of double doors dominate the chapel’s southern wall.
The four reanimated knights here appear to be undead, but because of the Spire shards Nhur Athemon implanted in their chests, they are for all intents and purposes alive.
