If I do start a new thread for 15th to 20th, and recruit new blood, I think like 2 or 3 new players maximum would be enough, assuming everyone but Johann will be continuing on. What do you all think? We already have a decent sized party, right?
A very curious idea MJ66, are you adverse to an old friend rejoining? My schedule has opened up significantly and I miss the iteration of Wulfgar...

Wulfgar is definitely welcome to level up to 15th level and join the new campaign!

cool, will need to find the old sheet and work on it from there. A couple of things I would have done with him that may need your approval. First hire a wizard to cast large permanently on him. The second the feat progression to have cold iron skin and wings. Are both of those ok?
Sure!

MJ 66 please take a look at Wulfgar. I was able to find his original sheet in recruitment, but I couldn't find any newer ones on my computer. So I put him back together the best I could. I still need to finish his languages and and the last feat. would you permit him to have the Flyby attack?
As for his story line after returning to Safi, there are two things I would like to work in the 'time in-between'. One is a trip to Paris to meet the great Nicolas Flamel of Paris. The second is courting the Marid harbor master of Anfa
He would hire Nicolas to do two things, the first is to combine the two swords ”Blitzenjaeger” and "Foecarver" into one. So the new weapons which Wulfgar calls: "The Flamel blade" looks like the two swords twisted together and has both powers. I calculated the cost on a + 4 weapon He would pay Nicolas to make him and his gear 'large:' making him permanently bigger for combat and the same size as the Marid harbor master of Anfa.
Since she swims to Safi. I'm assuming Wulfgar could have talked to her and expressed his desire to court her. Not sure how willing you are to let them settle down, but a couple items in his gear (the trident and cloak of manta ray) let him function a little in the water so he could pursue her.
Wulfgar would maintain a loose relationship with the 'knights of Malta' being available to help when needed, but not a full time member. He would spend most of his time 'in Safi' or 'at sea.' Maybe that should read 'in the sea' since he acquired the 'cloak of the manta ray.'
How do you want to interject him in the game?

I checked him out, looks great! Yes, Flyby Attack is fine, and the Marid Harbor Master, now free from the geas the bound her to the dead Emir, is open to your overtures lol.

Based on your post info (PCs pursuing more or less typical lives in NY city post Avengers), I'm thinking up some initial concepts to develop.
1: An Asgardian, maybe son of Frey, with a magic sword forged by the dwarves of Nidvallir, banished to Earth like Thor and his sword powers dormant until he unlocks them by proving himself worthy...
2: A lab rat given an experimental super drug that mutates it into an anamorphic humanoid like Master Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...

MJ and Lord P are throwing their names in the ring. While no one is guaranteed to get in, I appreciate the enthusiasm. So far not too many applicants.

I think that level 15 milestone will be a good point for me to drop out, as well. I am soon to become a father (by adoption), and I think it's a good idea for me to whittle down my gaming commitments.

Congrats Ogun
and I am not familiar with 2e pathfinder
For Marvel, I usually do the Marvel Superhero Adventure Games, FASERIP system

i'm not sure why, it is a far better system, having now played in both extensively. A lot of hate out there that is unjustified.

Thank you for your excellent participation in this campaign, GM Keante, it has been a lot of fun. Congratulations on becoming a dad! :)

Congrats Keante (missed your post before)! But sorry to see you go all the same.
I think I might retire Alphonse after this as well (as I see no reason he'd go after Mab, TBH), for him to focus on the founding and building of his new knightly Order. Maybe I'll level and bring Habiba or Toshiro back in as the replacement for the last stretch.

Whatever you will have most fun with, Storm Dragon:)

I've been reading the the recruitment and the 'guide' you included. Which was very well done I might add. It's a great idea, I like the way you've 'reflavored' the traditional roles and equipment. I'm pushing my limit on games, and not ready to learn two new systems, but it sounds great and I hope it goes well for you.
I'm saddened that I won't be playing with several of the team, I've been reading along and feel like I know them. That said, MJ 66 how many characters do you want? Maybe Storm Dragon should bring Habiba AND Toshiro, that would put us at six characters.

Yes, it's been a long (2.5 years), great run, and I will miss the departing PCs as well, but I totally understand. It seems right for some of the PCs to complete their story arcs after Nero and for a new arc to begin.
I will start a new campaign thread soon and try to recruit enough new players so we have about 6 in the party. Things have been a little busy in RL for me lately--family visiting from out of town, and I'm testing for my green belt in kung fu tomorrow morning (wish me luck!)--but I will get back on the ball with the PBP soon. Thanks for everyone's patience and continuing participation!

The wounded hezrou retaliates against Ogon Fox with snapping jaws bite 1d20+17=29 hits for 4d4+8=16 damage plus grab 1d20+23=41 and slashing claws claw 1d20+17=22 hits for 1d8+8=12 damage plus grab 1d20+23=24(nat 1) and claw 1d20+17=36 misses... Does Ogon Fox have a ring of freedom of movement?
.
bite: 29 to hit for 16 damage misses against AC 3041 to hit with grab would hit CMD 39, but this is tied to the bite, right? so since the bite missed, this doesn't apply?
claw 1: 22 to hit for 12 damage misses against AC 30
24(nat 1) to hit with grab fails against CMD, but I think it didn't apply anyway since the claw missed
claw 2: 36 to hit for __? damage this one hits AC 30, but it doesn't look like you rolled the damage for it, or the following grab
Oh, and I do not have anything giving me freedom of movement, so if you do land a grab, the grapple works.

Wow, I messed that all up! Lol... Thanks, I will roll damage for 1 claw and attempt grapple on Ogon Fox.
| Michael Johnson 66 |
Okay, so Fox is grappled by the hezrou. Did you want to modify your actions at all?
Was it the one that's now dead that had you grappled? If so, you could pretty much do what you posted, unmodified. And even if still grappled, you could full attack and do all that damage (99 points!), I believe?

Me too, but I realize that life would be like a boring, too easy game of D&D if it were any other way. God just feels a little Gygaxian now and then and runs Tomb of Horrors.

large mooks swarm and blatting away at them.

Gets dull fast, just need a Manna smack down hit to clear the way to and ending.

I was about to make a second post saying much the same thing, though I think the larger problem is narrative: we've cleared 3 different climactic, campaign ending fights (Gruneraver, Nero,a nd Wormwood) and now there's just a bunch of scrub Devils here that aren't really a threat standing between us and the phylactery. There's not really any sense that this fight has much meaning; honestly these guys should have been present during our fight WITH Nero, to give him some meat shields.

Agreed. Okay, just checking to make sure everyone was still in.
Maybe now would be a good time for my final surprise...
