Let's go ahead with ROUND 4. Ogon Fox, we will make sure you don't lose your ROUND 3 actions. Just post whenever you get a chance, I know RL is cray cray for most people right now. Hope everyone is staying well.
Thanks for understanding! I'm catching up now, will post within the hour.

Okay guys, pick it up. It only took us six seconds last Friday to kill Hastur -- in Carcosa! Get to it. It's just a Dragon. ;)
....And Fare-the-well. In the past couple days I've had PCs accepted into two PbP campaigns, so I'll stop annoying you guys and leave my smart-ass remarks for Mike.
Sigh... Thank God lol

MJ can you remind us of the story with the 3 keys? Now that they are are unlocked, do we know where the phylactery is? I figured a room would open for us with all three keys used so I would rather escape into that. Or maybe the room is in the bottom of the Catacombs?

It opens in the ruins of the Coliseum in Rome.
Sounds like Mwikali can teleport the party there.

Thank you all for hanging in up to this point. I know the campaign is starting to drag on for some of you, and I appreciate your commitment to finishing this story.
We are getting nearer to the finish line. After defeating the defenders of Nero's Phylacterium, and destroying the phylactery, you will have enough XP to advance to 15th level. This will also finish the main story arc that I began with Antichrist Nero, the dragon Wormwood Conflagratius, and all their mightiest minions defeated once and for all.
From there, since I promised that the campaign would go to 20th level, I'd like you all to democratically decide how you'd like to gain those last five "master adventurer" levels.
The Fey Shadow Mebd (or Mab or Mav) could join forces with Baba Yaga, and you could bring them down...
The Great Old Ones are also coming in the far future, including Cthulhu, Yog Sothoth, Shub Niggurath, Nyarlathotep, The King in Yellow, Ithaqua and Yig. But not until the Mayan Doomsday of 2012, so that's a few hundred years away...
The Fablehavens of the First World could be fun to adventure in, with all the monsters Lord P has sent there...
You could return to sunken Atlantis and plunder the other shipwrecks and ruins at the bottom of the Atlantic Sea...
The New World is teeming with opportunities to carve out new realms...

Fighting Mab seems pretty neat. I dunno I'd want to futz with "Fablehaven". Seems like it would be a bit unkind to go and kill all the monsters Perp has put there this whole time, kind of makes letting them escape pointless you know?
Sorry I've been a bit quiet recently. I've kinda let all my PbPs lapse this past week, procrastinating on posts.

I mentioned this to MJ a couple of months ago, that Johann is planning on retiring to the Black Forest if he survives against Nero, as that has from the start been his goal.
I've been grateful for such a good game for so long and appreciate MJ's world building especially.
Maybe MJ you could spin this adventure to a new thing and recruit a couple of new level 15 characters for the group. That could give it a new life. You could pose it as a new high level adventure and start a new thread so that new PCs wouldn't feel intimidated coming in.

That's a great idea, GM Mustachioed. I think I will do that, actually.
And thank you for your excellent participation in what has been my favorite campaign to date!

Johann will be named "Lord Protector of the Black Forest" by His Imperial Majesty Sigismund, Holy Roman Emperor, and granted the entire forest as a fief under his rule and protection as a vassal of the Empire.
Druids, rangers, skinshifters and Fey of all kinds will flock to his banner as a doughty forest militia par excellence... Awakened giant owls and eagles will serve as Lord Johann's airforce and carrier service...
The Fey residents of the Black Forest will be so happy to have the jolly, fair-minded Werebeast of the Schwarzwald as their new Lord (as opposed to the ill-tempered tyrant Grünerraver), they declare an unofficial holiday to mark his rise to the seat of Lord Protector of the Black Forest, a title recognized throughout the Holy Roman Empire, and also in the Seelie Court of the First World. Lord Johann's Day will be celebrated with honeyed mead drinking and bellyflops-from-the-rootbeer-falls contests at first, but the decidedly lethal bellyflop contests are soon relegated to only the diehard daredevils (mostly shifters like Johann, who can turn into a flying or swimming beast before hitting the rootbeer...)

so neat. I love that my character has a place in your lore! Johann has always loved the rootbeer waterfalls more than anything else...

You've helped craft a more memorable and cool Black Forest than I could have on my own with your portrayal of Johann, so thank you!
