I would like to pvp the Ogon fox for the hand of the fair dame whatshername. Darn my -2 charisma modifier!

![]() |

Her lovely name is Tringelda, you oaf! You don't deserve her!!
Clearly whatshername would be happier with a stable man rather than a pirate who keeps trying to get himself assassinated.
:D :D

Mwikali |

I have no problem sharing. Though I doubt the others do? Well save the orc he seems the type to not mind.

Whatshername is my one true love and I won't rest until I can roll a natural 20 on seduce because that is my one chance. But if Mwikali wants to sneak in I will not complain.

So, regarding keeping two calendars for this campaign for the last 7 months and bringing the two groups together on the afternoon of Thursday, 18 January... It just organically happened that table 1 finally caught up with table 2 in the timeline on this particular day, as fate would dictate. Both parties also reached 7th level by this point, with roughly the same XP (I will adjust XP so that all characters start Act 2 with the same XP for simplicity). I figured that now was a prime opportunity that might not come again soon to make the crossover happen.
Thank you to all who have participated and RPed like bosses these past 7 months. I'm looking forward to rewarding your commitment to this saga with an even more fun, wild, challenging Act 2!

Zagathoth |

I should be fully leveled now. A couple questions though...
1) do I get some kind of crown or something? It seems like the former Emir wore a turban with that huge gem that apparently we need to give to someone/something- should I just wear that with one of the other jewels we found slapped on it?
2) how do people feel about me being large sized pretty much all of the time?
3) how long is Quinlan going to be physically with us, and could he make me an enlarge person item real quick before we lose him? For a continuous enlarge person, or (even better) one I can spend an action to turn on or off, it should cost him 2k to make and the DC should be low enough for him to quick craft it in one day...

Mwikali |

I have Craft Wonderous Item, I can make Enlarge stuff, just need the time and money.
One that would let you return to normal would be better. Otherwise you can only seek out large ladies to 'Make Sex' and have a hard time in certain rooms

Still things in here... A scroll user should go in here and claim stuff. Also, those winged boots are here. SOMEONE should take them. Maybe a squishy. Fly to stay out of combat?

Once we have a satisfactory conclusion for table 2, which I envision as the party concluding their business in establishing the new emirate of Marrakech and riding west to Safi (3 days ride through desert), discovering that Prince Henry of Portugal has occupied the port with half the Portuguese fleet, and set sail for Rome aboard the Alanqilis, we will begin the gameplay narrative at this table...

Michael Johnson 66 |

ACT 2 will begin aboard the Alanqilis, crossing the Atlantic and sailing into the Mediterranean Sea to Italy...
Here there be monsters of the briny deep! Prehistoric horrors such as plesiosaurs, sea serpents, giant squids, giant sharks, killer whales, seductive sirens... The dangers of the sea are many, and so are its mysteries... Ancient sunken cities such as Atlantis and Mu... Strange lights seen by sailors in the sky and in the depths... Merfolk and sahuagin cities... Sunken treasure ships of ancient Rome, Phoenicia, Mycenae, and Persia...

Michael Johnson 66 |

Storm Dragon, go ahead and post as Habiba on gameplay on table 2, as she is from an Arab state, so might as well make it Morocco and get her into the party right away...
The party has just killed Emir Al'Haaq of Marrakech, who was actually a rakshasa disguised as a man. This evil rakshasa/emir was also the master of the infamous Arena of Death, where condemned criminals and slave gladiators fought to the death against each other or fierce monsters from throughout the known world...
Habiba might have been one of the Emir's slaves, or she might just be in Marrakech at this moment...

Ihrin Ardlean Dracul |

I just realized Ihrin is probably considered unclean by most of the church and if any nobles or commoners find out by them too. Interesting choice I made here for her. Risen, Assassin and Spy who uses men's' lust against them, killing while they are vulnerable, all in the name of Wallachia and God!

![]() |

Fortunately for those who might condemn her, lusts aren't too much of a problem! For Lucius at least. (Btw. He can speak Slavic (now) in case that matters to you ;))
re. Loot: Tweaked the loot list a bit (since the carpet was on it twice). Lucius has dibbed on the carpet since he benefits most from not being in easy range now and I put Ihrin down for the winged boots.
Still some really good stuff out there if people want it. On the subject of all the heavy armor, my cohort (either Rodrigo or Sir Landry) would probably be happy to use it!

You bet I would!

I think the carpet was there there on twice purpose. The Jackals had a carpet of their own that was called "party loot?" Is that correct?
It makes more sense to me to have a specific person hold it so it doesn't get lost.

Ihrin Ardlean Dracul |

Desert Jackals had a carpet before we defeated the Emir. Which means two carpets!

Michael Johnson 66 |

Correct. The party has reached the level where flying becomes both necessary and common to their adventures, so the party should be well aerial, with 2 one-man carpets of flying, a batwing helm that acts as cloak of the bat, a broom of flying, and blue draconic winged boots, plus two PCs are fey that have fly speeds...

![]() |

I think the loot has been up for grabs long enough. If you wrote your name by something, go ahead and take it. No one contested anything.
Anything left unclaimed by...Monday?... will be sold off. I will add it all up and tell how much gold everyone gets. There are still all those scrolls on here that someone caster should just take.

Alexei Orlovsky |

Sorry- super busy week at work... I'll go through and claim some scrolls as soon as I can.
If nobody else wants the ring of minor fire resist I would take that? (especially since I almost got killed by a fireball/wall of fire combo, lol)

![]() |

I have a swim speed of 30 as a cobra. Looking forward to this underwater adventure!

![]() |

Sorry. Doing the post for this is too hard from a phone. Expect big post from me on Monday!

With a strength of 20, Johann's max load is 400. The rules say you can drag 5 times your max load= 2000 pounds. However, we are moving in a buoyant salt water. I would propose he can pull 2000 pounds at normal speed. That would be... i don't know, half the party?

I would say he can comfortably move at full speed with up to 8 other Pcs, which might be the entire party at this point, as I'm afraid Ogon Fox might have fallen overboard and gotten separated from the rest of the party... at least until he checks in...

Algoral |

Will my Ioun stones circle my head underwater? If so I can provide light that way.
Hmm I don't imagine all of this salt water is going to be good for my wings. I am going to have to soak them in clear fresh water for a while once we get out.

The magic of ioun stones allows for underwater orbit. So yes, Algoral can provide a pale glow of light equal to torchlight underwater... As for the wings, yes, though they do seem to help in swimming somewhat (swim speed equal to half your fly speed)... Take note, Lord Perpireen: your wings are also soaked and will need to dry out for 2d4 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5 hours before they can be used to fly again through air, but underwater, you have a swim speed equal to half your fly speed. No need for either fey to hang onto Johann.

Michael Johnson 66 |

For the rest of us we have to figure out how to swim through this
If you have sufficient ballast (20 or more pounds of gear), you can move about the ocean floor at half your land speed.
Melee attacks under water suffer a penalty to attack and damage in most cases, unless you have a swim speed and are using a piercing attack, or have freedom of movement, such as that granted to Crabpincer's wielder...
Ranged attacks suffer a more extreme range penalty due to water displacement. See the rules for aquatic terrain and underwater combat from the Core Rulebook.
