Well. We could try to double up on characters... My main attraction to SF has always been the mechanic class, so on the plus side I would have to look at other classes! I'm sure everyone can visualize the downsides without my listing them though.

Anyone have feelings on bringing on a fifth? I might be a bit in favor of it, but there are definitely benefits and drawbacks to both outcomes.

I find that 5 is an optimal amount of players, 6 is a little much but doable, any more than that is too much.

I like having 5 PCs in PbP games in general.
Also, I wanted the group to know I wouldn’t mind having Elbow’s Ace Pilot Technomancer become the pilot. Quitch would be an average gunner, but I like Elbow’s character. Interesting roleplay possibilities with a chaotic neutral pilot and technomancer running around.

Question: If I do get a venom spur can I "milk" the venom and put it in my needler pistol to fire? If so could I do it before combat begins? Rules don't say I can do this explicitly but it seems like something that could happen reasonably.

I am not the GM, but I'd err on the side of "no" for something like this for potentially infinite resources. Just my two creds.

Hm, I think I would allow that but with some restrictions. You’d have to do it during combat and be unable to use the venom for the rest of the day. I might refine it a bit more but that’s what I’m thinking for now. I might also allow a similar but more expensive item that would function similarly to the venom spur, but just produce venom to use in the needler.

You all are going to be so amazed at how ineffectual my venom needles are that you're going to buy me a laser gun. I've done this in an IRL game before and it was very underwhelming but I like the flavor of it, especially since I want to maximize the number of implants I'm getting. Yay DC 10 fort saves!

Sorry it took so long to post. I meant to log on after work but yesterday got yanked on a shopping trip by my mom, and then today had to wait around the MoA for most of the afternoon for her to get off work since my dad was driving my brother to a pair of bagpiping gigs out in the middle of nowhere!

Except for a brief game that was a modified version of Iron Gods (book 1) I have not played the AP. I think I know a little about the adventure’s conclusion from reading the Starfinder Core rule book.

Assuming that she allows questions, Krizen will ask whether Vurg knows that we are with the Society, or if we are incognito for this. Krizen also took some time to purchase more line and hopefully a magnetic grapple of some kind; there does not appear to be anything like that already specced though. The grappler gun is the closest I could find.

The armor provides +3 KAC/+4 EAC with a max dex of +4 and no ACP in light mode, and +5 KAC/+6 EAC with a max dex of +3 and a -1 ACP in heavy mode. Switching between them is a swift action.

I realized I forgot to give stats for the nanite gun. It does 1d8 damage, though you can attempt to empower the nanite stream by spending a resolve point which increases the damage to a d12. It has the deconstruct critical property, dealing 1d10 damage.
