GM Rinaldo |
This is not a gameday game - I never intended to imply it was, and wasn't trying to fit within the gameday time frame. I am about to leave on my vacation. I am going to try to get an update in later today, but will not be posting much, if at all, this next week. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding about that.
Andor Katsu |
Have a great vacation!!
GM Rinaldo |
And apologies if my last post was a little curt. Low on sleep during the conference, and getting ready for my actual vacation. :-)
I will watch for continued conversation with Gideon today and tomorrow, but will save starting the next section until I return.
Ushi Goroshi |
No problem, totally understand. Solstice Scar kept us at the store until half past midnight last night.
GM Rinaldo |
Back from a lovely vacation and facing a mountain of email and backlogged issues. I hope to get my games resumed this evening after work!
Ushi Goroshi |
Take it easy, man. I fell off the wagon on my games as well between Saturday gameday and Sunday Skull and Shackles. (Funnily enough, I ran Signs on Saturday because not everyone could make it for Mysteries Under Moonlight 2.)
GM Rinaldo |
Other than being a little sleep deprived (I was at a gaming convention after all) I'm recharged from the vacation and ready to get back into it. I just don't have the free time during the work day that I normally do. ;-)
GM Rinaldo |
Sorry folks, I'm not feeling well. I have just enough concentration to stare at TV or video games, not enough to judge and post here. Back soon!
Graxzos Glyphkeeper |
A message to all my games:
I apologize for disappearing late last week! I am a freelancer and my work has suddenly and unexpectedly kicked into high gear. On top of that, I’m attempting to apply to graduate programs, and most of those applications are due in early January. I was hoping that I could keep up my posting rate, but between work and the holidays I’m clearly going to slump a little.
If I’m a player in this game, PLEASE feel free to bot me if I haven’t posted in a bit. I really appreciate it.
If I’m the GM, I can only ask for your kind patience. I’ll try to post ASAP to keep us moving.
Sorry, again, for the slightly delayed notice. Things should clear up after the next two weeks.
GM Rinaldo |
I will on vacation from Dec 21 through 27. I will continue to post, just at different times, and there may be gaps (such as while I am travelling at the start and end).
If anyone else has holiday travel or other time away, let me know.
GM Rinaldo |
I am back at work after my holiday travel. Once I have caught up a bit I will start working on getting caught up on games. Expect to see something either today or tomorrow, and then back to normal posting schedule!
GM Rinaldo |
Since Kara said she was out until today, I'm going to wait and let her post (presumably by tomorrow), as there are things happening off camera and I want her to get her action in.
GM Rinaldo |
PMing Kara to see if she's back ... I hate to bot during a holiday, but she had said she'd be back on the 27th.
GM Rinaldo |
Apologies to my games - I was out sick yesterday (I literally slept all day), so now I'm catching up at work. Expect to hear from me later today.
Andor Katsu |
Don’t worry. Get better soon.
Andor Katsu |
Hi GM, do you believe it to be possible to finish the scenario by Jan 14?
GM Rinaldo |
Only if we get *really* efficient - like multiple posts per day from every player. I apologize for the delays at my end, but holidays always slow things down.
Graxzos Glyphkeeper |
Hi all. Apologies for the delay, more extended than I intended. I am trying to catch up on things, but am trying to read through and evaluate where I can jump back in.
Thanks for your patience!
(This is, of course, assuming that you still think I'm eligible to continue, GM Rinaldo; I completely understand if not.)
GM Rinaldo |
Because of the holiday delays, you actually haven't missed that much - we're still fighting in the warehouse. Jump back in!
Ushi Goroshi |
GM Rinaldo |
And that's a wrap!
Primary success condition: Convince all four of the leaders of Senghor to support the Pathfinder Society Done!
Secondary success condition: Defeat Shinri Dells and secure at least two of the Twelve Rites Done!
The Exchange: Convince Attea Mbansa to become a trade partner to earn the Connections in Senghor boon. Done!
Well done! Even if we did rather hemorrhage players there ... :-(
Chronicles will be ready shortly.
GM Rinaldo |
Andor, you never actually did what I asked in post #1 :-)
I need the following information for your chronicle:
Player Name:
Character Name:
PFS ID#:
Faction:
Character level (for subtier determination):
Normal or Slow track:
Day Job check or Downtime activity:
GM Rinaldo |
So, those people who provided information have chronicles available here!
Everyone else will have to wait ... ;-)
Let me know when you have your chronicle to confirm it downloaded ok.
Andor Katsu |
Thanks for everything GM!!
Player Name: Noral
Character Name: Andor
PFS ID#: 314670-2
Faction: Scarab Sages
Character level (for subtier determination): 3
Normal or Slow track: normal
Day Job check or Downtime activity: Craft alchemy : 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 36
GM Rinaldo |
My chronicle stuff is on my PC at home, so I will get Andor's done either tonight or over the weekend.
Andor Katsu |
No rush!! ;-)
GM Rinaldo |
OK, Andor's chronicle has been posted.
As soon as I hear from Andor and Graxzos that you have received your chronicles, I will archive the campaign.
Andor Katsu |
Hi GM, thanks for the chronicle sheets!
May I ask why you made the low tier items unavailable to us?
GM Rinaldo |
Because this chronicle is specifically split between tiers, rather than "everybody" and "high tier" like others are.
Ushi Goroshi |
I find nothing that says you cross off the lower tier.
Mark any special boons the players did or did
not earn (U) and cross out any treasure items the party
didn’t find in the adventure (V); additionally, if you’re
running the lower subtier, always cross out all of the
items listed for the higher subtier.
The closest thing I find is under Step 5 of Appendix 4.
After the scenario, the GM crosses off the items on the
Chronicle sheet that you and your fellow Pathfinders
did not discover. All other items on the Chronicle sheet
immediately becomes available for purchase by all party
members.
It doesn't bother me as none of the items are ones Ushi would purchase, but something to keep in mind in the future.
Graxzos Glyphkeeper |
I got the chronicle! Aside from the mentioned question of high tier vs. low tier, I don't have any questions/problems.
GM Rinaldo |
I am going based on how it was explained to me, as there are different systems used on different chronicles. It used to be that it was always "All" and "High Only", but now some are "low" and "high", with items that are related but different (such as a +1 weapon at low tier, and the same weapon but at +2 at high tier).
Ushi Goroshi |
I'd have to go back and review past documents to confirm. It doesn't make much difference for this chronicle besides getting access to the lower CL potion in the 1-2. I've already printed the sheet and won't be going back to it either way. Thanks again for running and thanks to everyone for positivity in the face of adversity, in-game and out!
Andor Katsu |
Thanks a lot! ;-)
