Yeah, I'm dropping the ball there. However, I should be gradually moving back to normal posting for me, so I'm considering what new threads to toss out there, so I'll get something to really push things somewhere sometime between now and Monday.

I'm here, lol. Just been a busy weekend-now-week complete with a pair of back to back nasty migraines. I see folks are generally ready to move so I will have something soon, tomorrow most likely, under the assumption that the group will be spending most of the day wandering and being ready to travel to the mountains soon.
BTW Sienna, speaking of MIA, where is Leng? :P

This is going out to all the games I'm either playing in or running: I'm in the path of Hurricane Dorian, so I'll be battening down the hatches and preparing for the worst.

I am having to do a hard thing. The hardest thing to do as a gamer I think. I am having to cut the number of games I am in.
We recently had a tragic death befall the family, on top of an already expected loss. Add to that the youngest having to go back in for a surgery in a few weeks and I will not ha ve the time I need for all the games I am in.

Everyone else - I'm going to bot Ko for the immediate future and rush a thing along hoping I can avoid taking major actions with him. It would probably also be a good idea to find another hitter that can throw down some damage. There is an excellent spot just ahead where it's totally easy to bring a new character in. I'm going to post in the recruitment thread, but if anyone knows someone that might be interested, let them know.
Someone could always flex the character tree rules, too.

And regarding relaxing the character tree rules, I'd be down for that. I'd love to give the Druid class a try as one of my character options.

I mean, I can do evil party if I'm planning it going in, and with clear guidelines/expectations. I always worry about an evil individual in a mixed group even more because it ups the likelihood of player conflict happening.
I've got two harder games to update before I really look farther than my rolls on that game. I might still be in, I don't know. I was planning on not-good for the most part. Lone wolf mul bred to be an arena fighter but gone off the rails or a half-elf bard looking for payback, sure. They can be redeemed or find heroic purpose.
But expect me to finally move this game along tonight or tomorrow!
Story time!
I played in a game where a player made an evil thief named, and I am not making this up, Mesteal Yostuff. After a lengthy and difficult expedition, he stole all of the treasure and fled, and the DM ruled that he got all of the treasure xp, leaving the rest of us with nothing.
Freshly increased in level from this haul of ill-gotten loot, Mesteal happened to run across a higher-level group and joined up. In that group I played the cleric, and Mesteal decided he "just didn't like" me and slit my cleric's throat while the party was sleeping, then fled again.
So I don't play in groups with evil characters unless I already know the player and have worked out conflicts in advance, or it's a determined "we are all evil but we are forced to work together because..." group.
Ah. Alrighty then.

I can see a case being made, but I'm considering re-evaluating my experience rewarding to increase the pace a little bit, so remind me the next time I do give any out.

Another campaign reduced to naught but bones and dust in the wasteland. :(
It's my fault entirely, obviously. Real life got the better of me and I was over-extended to begin with. I'm officially calling it for now, but in the future may want to revisit things in a reboot. I am working up a plan to improve my overall posting, because the format is amazingly fun to me, but I need to know my limit and find some slightly better tools.
