lantzkev's Untitled Campaign (Inactive)

Game Master lantzkev

Grand Lodge

Looking for players for dragons demand, any paizo material accepted, no strange races (ie nothing beyond PFS races)

PFS build criteria, if you want to try out the new playtest material go for it (and please!)

Looking for regular posters, and also for folks to use roll20.net for maps/fights etc.

Grand Lodge

Also at the end I'll sign off on any PFS sheets folks may want.

I'd be down for this. I've been working on a draconic sorcerer that sounds like this would be perfect for this kind of campaign.

Grand Lodge

Incase folks aren't familiar with it, it starts at lvl 1 and goes to about lvl 7.

Also, Recruitment will end as soon as I have 5 players good to go.

Sovereign Court

I'd be interested, but my character just made level 2 (cleric of Sarenrae). I could create a new character for this campaign, however.

Grand Lodge

... yeah they'd all be new characters.

So this will be played in "campaign mode," but using mostly PFS rules? Cool.

I'm definitely interested in trying out the ACG classes, I'll get something up tonight.

One question, though: I've been talking about GMing this module myself with a group of friends. I'd be fine playing a more combat-oriented class and not involving myself too much in puzzles and the like, b would that be still an issue?

Would love to play Dragon's Demand and try a Bloodrager. Here's Kronek, a Kellid from Numeria.

Grand Lodge

do me a favor and for your stats, use parenthesis to denote when you're raging and regular for not raging.

ie str 18(22)

Greatsword +4(+6) [2d6+8(11)] etc (I also think you might have your greatsword damage off, unless you're not wielding it two handed. But looks fine otherwise.

-edit- also it appears you may have too many skill points. If you're listing any skills, please just list the ones you have actually put skill points in, any not there I'll assume are being defaulted to.

Also you count as a barb or sorc basically, so for favored class feel free to select from human alt options.

Here's Zahmahkibo's character. Name is pending, but all the crunch should be in order.

Ok, think I have those changes all set.

I'm interested in trying out an investigator. Will see if I can come up with a build soon.

Hi. I would like to play a paladin of shelyn. A young man that is unusually gullible and innocent. He wants to be an adventurer cause he is decided to be a hero like the ones of the old farytales.

I may be interested! What does one get for completing the AP for PFS?

@SpiritWolfFenris: You can download the Chronicle Sheets here to take a look.

@Kronek: Oh! Ha! As much stuff as I've picked up on Paizo.. never really knew you could do that. Ha, thanks. lol

But just to get it right.. all those can only be applied to the character that's in the AP? Or can I make a character for the AP and apply them to another PFS character? <.>

Liberty's Edge

I've been looking for an early starting campaign to satisfy my rp itch. I'd like to get on this and I have a character set up. I am in no way new to Pathfinder or other RPs but I am new to online campaigns. Any shot I could get in on this?

Sczarni

you can play the ap, then apply it to the valid PFS character you have elsewhere. they do not have to play in the scenario to get credit, but if they do, the usual PFS stuff applies.

Dragon's Demand runs like a mini-AP as far as awarding chronicles, I believe. It can be run in either "module mode" or "campaign mode." In module mode, the adventure is broken up into three module-equivalent chunks that cover most, but not all of the book, which can be played as independent modules with legal PFS character. They don't need to play them in order, or even with the same party. In campaign mode, you play through the whole thing start to finish, don't need to follow PFS rules, and get all the chronicles at the end, which are applied as if you had played a pregen.

It sounds like this one will be in campaign mode, so you don't need a registered character, and the DM is free to set and enforce the rules however he or she deems best.

Awesome, I appreciate the answers. I've only played PFS, so adjusting to this new online stuff is taking time. About how long would one say the AP will take doing it Pbp?

Sczarni

honestly hard to say, could be a year for all I know =D

A year?! @_@ Woah... I don't know if I have that kind of attention span.. o_o;

In play by post things tend to be slower than in normal games. By the way dos the DM make alist of the accepted players or something like that?

I think I would like to participate, with either a Hunter or a Slayer. From what I remember being discussed above, a Hunter may be better suited to the group. The Divine Casting seems both potentially thin and potentially well covered.

I would be happy to go either way based on party needs.

Liberty's Edge

(its Mirro90) Well if there is still a slot open I have my character all set!

Dotting a Elf Heavenly Shaman

In order of posting, I see:

Ford Bennet - Draconic Sorcerer
Alyia Charbdis - unidentified new character
Zahmahkibo - Dwarf Shaman (name of alias) - Dwarf Shaman
Kronek - Bloodrager
Alex Mack - Investigator
Nicos - Paladin of Shelyn
SpiritWolfFenris - nothing offered/Just Curious?
Mirro90 - Mikel Roho (name of alias) - Human Fighter (Warhammer & Shield)
hustonj - Hunter or Slayer (Thinking Slayer as Hunter seems MAD)
JustJacqui - Elf Heavenly Shaman

So here's Aurora Stargazer, my Elven Heavenly Shaman.

And this is her familiar, Darris the Raven

For Darris, the top section, before the MELEE part, is all correct. Though the page regarding ravens had +1 Fort, +4 reflex and +2 will, but I'm not sure if I put those in 'base' value; meaning that the total woud be Fort +0, Reflex +6 and Will +4 or if they go into the total column, meaning they remain how they are.

I've never had an animal familiar or companion before, so I don't really know how to make one.

I was interested in the scenario, but if it would take nearly a year, I'm not sure if I could focus on it that long. =/

Alex Mack here. Attached is the fluff for my submission Marlon "Brother" Bear. A warpriest of Shelyn.

Still gotta finalize the crunch but I'll get that done tonight.

Well, no sign or indication that Lantzkev has accepted the applicant set, yet, so here's information on my proposed entry:

Craes, Elven Slayer

Background:
Craes was born under a lucky star. Blessed with being born to successful artisan merchants in a bustling metropolis, it appeared that he would want for nothing and that every opportunity which he could desire would be available to him. Sadly, children often put a great deal of effort into opposing their parents for no reason other than to establish themselves as independent beings. Craes seems to have lived for that purpose.

He started running with the street toughs. He worked his way deeper and deeper into the underbelly of his city, learning more and more about what people, including himself, are capable of doing to each other. His role was solider, or enforcer, and he originally abandoned himself to that role, reveling in being something of which his parents actively disapproved. Then came the day he was told to kill a set of twin infants in order to help motivate their parents to pay their debts. He had already helped throw young children into slavery and killed adults who failed ot keep up their end of a bargain, but he had never been ordered to kill a child, let alone an infant. At that moment, Craes realized that he didn't want to be the elf he was becoming, and he simply walked away.

Everyone knows that you don't just walk away from a large, well-organized gang. So he left. Craes went out to explore the world, to discover what eh would find, and to figure out who he should become. It is in the midst of this journey of self-discovery that the young elf finds himself entering the village of Bellham.

I'm basically going to wait a week or so then start and let folks know etc.

Marlon is done!

I'm withdrawing Dwarf Shaman from consideration, in order to potentially open a spot for a player who hasn't GM'd this module. Good luck, all.

Sczarni

np, I'll be working on this after finals end this weds.

Howdy!

it is now "this Wednesday." I'm honestly NOT trying to pressure lantzkev (what would be the point?), but I figure giving this recruitment thread a bump at the point where the judge said they would be able to give the idea time again might get some more submissions . . ..

Grand Lodge

I think I'm just going to focus on my other games right now and not bother, not a ton of interest and my interest has waned.

Darn. Better now than several weeks in, though!

Too bad! This looked cool! Let us know if your interest waxes again.

Grand Lodge

ditto.. I just found this and i am all hung-ho to test my latest oracle concept...

Yeah, I'm kicking myself because I saw this and then life got busy and I just figured this would've filled up quick.
