Talon breaks out in the most horrible leopresy. He falls backward, pulling the curtain with him. Bianca the barmaid sees him and shreeeks. leapor, you are a leoper! Out get out! Get out leapor!!!

'Mr.' Baily opens his mouth to speak. It looks for a moment that he might actually know what happened...

*Kendra Lorrimor* |

I didn't forget you Antoni! Just busy trying to save the splatter effect of that horrible Deck of cards
Kendra leads you in to a room lit by candles near the ceiling. In the center is a large glass case containing a masterwork suit of plate armor. There are other items in here in glass cases: weapons, gemstones. Kendra is telling you about her family history and the glory days of Ustalov, when the Ravengro Councilor who opened the professor's will appears at the door. He signals he needs to speak with Kendra. She apologizes and leaves you alone, asking if you will please close the door when you are done. You are free to look around.

Antoni Kettler |

The arms and armor were impressive, but Toni had a soft spot for her beaten equipment. She glances at each piece briefly.

Upon the far wall is a greatsword make entirely of vitrified bronze. Although you know nothing about magic, you know that this great sword has unmistakable magic properties.
You hear a voice, but you can not see where it's coming from. It is definately in the room with you.
Do you like it? Take it down and give it a swing. Tell me what you think of it...

Antoni Kettler |

"Ha, you think I'm a fool?" Toni calls out quietly. "If you haven't a mouth or a brain, we have no business talking."
She walks to the door, feels around for the switch and closes the room.
"Talking swords? What next?"

Talon Darkslayer |

Talon yells at the bartender, "Shut up woman. You liked me well enough 10 seconds ago before this b~$+~ afflicted me. Keep on like that and all that'll be left of your tavern is the bloodstained timbers!"
He turns to Fyuria, his face livid, "I know this twisted game. Bait and switch that's what this is. Go ahead, tell us what we have to do for you to get rid of this horrible disease and get Gilderoy back? Go ahead. But be warned if the price be too high..." His hand isn't on his sword but he's working his fists as if he'd like it to be.

It wasn't I, sir Talon, it was the deck. I promise you this deck is one of the most powerful things you will ever see in your miserable life. I cannot change what was done. As for Gilderoy, he drew the Cyclone. He has gone to the plane of air. I cannot bring him back, for there are conditions of the card that remain to be met by him.
Fyuria looks down. She is not evil, and indeed she is genuinly concerned.
But I can transport you to the plane after him. The doorway remains open, usually for about a minute 6 rounds?. I can send you there if you wish.
She looks to Rasgraton.
And you also, Rock Man, if it is your desire.

![]() |

I've no idea how you get rid of THAT she points to your skin. As for getting back, I believe I gave Mr. Gilderoy something a few minutes ago. A moonbow potion. It will solidify any such moonbow allowing one to walk upon it to reach the place I described to him. That place is called 'Io', for what it is worth, and it happens to be on this material plane. I suppose if you can find a moonbow in the plane of air, I see no reason why it wouldn't take you to Io back here in our plane. Fyuria rolls her eyes back again as if listening to something. She moans as if in pain. mmmmm there isn't much time...you must decide now!

Antoni Kettler |

Toni heads upstairs to make herself a sandwich, a little suspicious of Kendra and the professor.
"Such things should be destroyed. No good can come from them."
She waits for Kendra in the front room.

Yea Ill pass Montie. Can I see what was behind doors 1,2 and 3 though?

Rasgraton |

We shall be thrice damned for our foolishness today. I have no desire to draw. Please send me to the plane of air so I may help my friend.
not that I want too but it seems only fair I should get 1 card if Talon has to live as a leper

It's late and a lot has happened tonight. You all end up finding your way back to Kendra's house and crash. You are fairly certain that the next day will be a day of preparation. Because time is running out for Ravengro, and someone must stop the evil before it's too late. Someone must go to Harrowstone and confront the evil that lies within.

Gilderoy Targedew |

They do, but the mayo is rancid and the pickles are dried out. The worst kind of sandwich hell!
Gilderoy looks up from his place on the floor. "Oooook....this is seriously getting ridiculous." He smiles up at the barkeep, knowing its going to be another one of those nights.
Once arriving back at Kendra's house, he settles in for the night, sharing the oddness with his companions.

dm night-shade |

'quests and hooks' on the campaign thread updated. Consider yourselves to be at Kendra's house around a breakfast table, it's the following morning. Gilderoy has just shared his experiences. I am not railroading you guys, but it would be nice if we could stick together. Now you all need to decide what to do next.

Rasgraton |

I would like to put forth the plan that we gather up some supplies and head to Harrowstone as soon as possible. With the things we saw last night we risk more and more innocent lives every hour we delay.

Gilderoy Targedew |

"I think the booze was the best part. The rest...is best to be forgotten. Just bad." Gilderoy seems shaken up, both by his half put together appearance and the circles starting to form under his eyes.

Talon Darkslayer |

Talon rouses himself to add quietly, "We should see what's available in town as well. We had some things to sell, and you can add my old armor to that list (Hide Armor 10gp). If there's anythin' worth buying I think we should cash in those shares as well."

dm night-shade |

Hearing no objections...
You reach the False Crypt (see Restlands Map) at about 10am. There is a miserable autumn fog. The stone slab that seals the crypt looks tough. But the professor came in and out easily enough
DC20 strength to break down

Other checks available if you can think of them. Also, don't forget you can help one another on skill checks with a d20 roll. Just role play how you do it.

"We could get a steel pole or something and lever the door out fo the way but I suspect there is a secret way in and out or else this is fairly ueeless secret storage place" Gabbi say looking around carefully.

Toni tries to take the stone slab door head-on before realizing there must be an easier way in. "Gilderoy, you seem to be a smarter fellow than I. Can you figure it out?"
Giving the +5 bonus to Gil for the intelligence check.

Rasgraton |

HaHa. Too true Talon. Come If me, you, and Gur help move the slab It should come flying off the hinges.
Gur has a 22 Str but Talon, and Rasgraton, have 18 and Antoni has a 16. We got more beefcake than at a strongman competition.
Str Check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 Or I can just move it myself lol.

The stone almost seems to respond as a living thing to Rasgraton's shove. It buckles and collapses. A spray of grave dust hisses out of the tomb as the pressures equilize. It is pitch black inside. But you can hear a scittering sound.
darkvision chars can see inside but don't see what's causing the sound. Map is at the top "False Crypt"

Rasgraton |

I will Detect Magic. Sorry guys I have a limited number of 0 level spells I can memorize and I did not think about taking Light lol
Unless something dangerous comes out to attack us I will cast Guidance and Virtue on everyone. +1 to an attack, skill, or save and +1 temporary HP. I think they both last 1 minute.
I will not do that if it is going to take up combat actions.
