Yeah forgot about that whole 2 action thing. Gonna have to get used to it is all.
me too!
[dice=Attack]1d20+10and wiffs mightily passed the beasts head entirely, scraping off a horn ineffectually. He takes a step to adjust putting himself even more behind his foes and takes another mighty swing....
[dice=Attack]1d20+10
and fumbles his strike badly.
Oh god the dice.... the dice so bad....OK DM, do your worst, I deserve it after that.
don't forget +2 flank and +1 bless
Talon Darkslayer
That is where I get the +10 with power attack. +6str +2bab -1pa +2flank +1bless.
sorry, I forgot about your power attack. Besides if I keep reminding everyone else, maybe I'll remember to add it to my own rolls
Rasgraton
I would go ahead and take my turn but I can't tell how far away the Devil is. I can move 20 feet in a round. Are their any adjacent spaces next to the Devil? Just in case there is.
Ras hammer swing at the Devil: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 = 7 LOL Fumble!
Rasgraton
Night Shade would you be ok to use a map like this instead? I can't make heads or tails out of the other even though it is very pretty.
dm night-shade
Gur you are right, there were two attack rolls in your post. Thanks for being honest.
Map switched to Rasgraton's. It does look WAY better than mine:)
Antoni smashes the third devil to bits. Ras takes his swing and hits nothing but purple conjuration smoke as the being dissapears.
You hear the evil 'preist' laughing more in the next room. He utters arcane words. Then you hear the rushing sound of fire. Then a terrible hellish howl.
If you try to add up the monsters actions you might see they've taken 1 more than I show in my tickmark list. That's because the teleport scroll (and one other secret thing) was done in a surprise round, which they got as a result of all those terrible stealth checks.

I am playing around with adding stuff on the map you can delete it if you want. I am just going to... Pyromancers Link...and taking 1 or more items and creating a JPEG with it. Then I open the JPEG with paint and select the part of the image I want to use and copy and past it onto Google Docs.
Rasgraton
I moved Ras 20 feet so he would be where he was when he took a wild swing at the creature.
The oread Comes through the hole and walks to the last reaming devil the swing is far from a good one and Antoni has to duck to not get her head knocked off!
Rasgraton
Yea a player directed me to it as well. Not everyone can access at work and I don't think you can access it at all on mobile. But you create a map, export it to a JPEG and upload that to google drive where most people can access it easy. For me that is more work then I usually have so I just made that little tan map that looks like the dry erase ones you can buy for table top and added the numbers and letters. That way you got a digital dry erase map you can use over and over again with little fuss.

As the three of you peek through the door you see a giant dog. It's on fire! resized on the map. It's a medium creature Standing at it's master feet it spots you, raises it's hackles, and charges toward you. It bursts through the doorway at alarming speed, sliding on it's paws as it turns the 90 degree corner and bites at Talon's neck Not a charging attack because of the turn
bite +5 (1d8+1 plus 1d6 fire)
bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Beyond the dog you see the fat 'priest'. He casts HASTE on his burning dog and laughs again.
Hold on Lola, I'll be there in a few minutes. and turning to you all: And after i'm done with her maybe i'll take a turn on you!
The three acolytes outside are banging on the door trying to get in. It seems KNOCK doesn't disable Talon's lock trick, just magically opens the door, but leaves it locked when it closed again!

"Time to die, doggie!" And with that, the pale man reaches out to touch the beast twice. Using Grave Touch, so depending on these rolls...
Melee Touch: 1d20 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 - 1 = 16
Melee Touch: 1d20 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 - 1 = 14
If both hit and the beast is less than my level, then it's frightened for 1 round. If not, it's shaken as long as one of my touch attacks hit, then it's shaken for 2 rounds.
Rasgraton
Ras runs to 11 L. Quad move speed.
11 L should be diagonal between Gil and Talon
dm night-shade
The pale man's reaches out to touch the hell hound and a ghostly bluish spiritual hand extends from his natural hand, reaching deep into the hell hound's heart, squeezes, then dissappears. The Hound's eyes widen and the flame engulfing it's body dims slightly.
Hell hound takes -2 to attack rolls and skill checks. Shaken.
dm night-shade
You and Gur aught to run around the building and kill the acolytes who are trying to break through the door, haha. Which reminds me, I forgot their checks to break down the door...
round2

helping: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

round3

muffled voices: The master's ceremony has been interupted, get the door open!!
dm night-shade
Those three little dorks are the Acolytes banging on the door. The rules say you can make it 4x your speed in a round if you go at a dead sprint, so 80 ft. I count the distance to be about 165 ft (alternating diagonal moves to be 5ft one time and 10 the next as the rules suggest), so with a 5 ft step you would be engaging them melee in 2 full rounds. Alternatively, the door like any other can be opened easily from the inside.
Talon Darkslayer
not sure if I'm getting too far ahead but I'm getting eaten by a dog so I'll post an action. Feel free to tell me to slow down!
Talon drops his bow and quickdraws his greatsword. "Normaly I'm fond of dogs. You... not so much."
greatsword: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 21
damage: 2d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4, 5) + 4 + 1 = 14
greatsword: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 22
damage: 2d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (3, 6) + 4 + 1 = 14

Just checking the only enemy visible is the hound? If the acolytes are visible then I'll target them.
I know this is only my second action but there isn't much I can do currently
dm night-shade
The hound is certainly not dead. And it has a special treat for all of you.
The beast opens is jaw in a yawning gape. you fancy you can see in it's mouth the very souls trapped in hell, writhing in flames. Then fire belches forth...
10 ft cone, Ras guild and Talon are all hit.
fire damage: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6 Reflex DC14 for half.
Gur
Can only go triple if in heavy armor.
First action Gur rushes over to the combat taking a double move to get there."Mister Gild I would apreciate it if you moved out of my way."
In the event Gild uses his second action to move Gur will step in and strike.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Damage: 2d4 + 13 ⇒ (4, 2) + 13 = 19
Gilderoy Targedew
Reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Gilderoy groans, not being able to move near fast enough to get out of the way of the fire. Grimacing from the burns he has now received, the pale sorcerer takes a series of steps back to allow Gur out of the way, as he throws a ball of acid at the beast. The ball goes wide, as the burns sear him just a bit too much to be accurate.
Acid Splash: 1d20 + 3 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 1 - 4 = 5
9/15 HP
dm night-shade
The acolytes at the door:
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12 +2+2 = 16
The fat priest casts 'Invisibility' on himself. his Eerie laughter fades to silence as the spell takes effect.

Toni runs for the hole in the wall and heads toward the door from the outside. She stops short of the acolytes.
"Come and get me, you neutered whelps," Toni growls in an attempt to demoralize the three men.

Gabi, I read back through the posts...EDIT: It looks like I missed your original SLEEP spell, way back when combat first started. That wasn't intentional on my part. If the spell goes off now:
Hell hound will save 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Sleep has a 10 ft radius so I think RAS, GUR, Talon are all affected. This is where PBP gets tough, correcting GM mistakes like this

No problem, there isn't much Gabbi can do in fights at this level (3 spell disappear quickly and she hasn't experience enough fights to have a combat cantrip memorized. Note sleep only effects a total of 4HD starting from the middle of the spell (why i was planing to use it on the acolites if Hell hound is more than 4 hd it does nothing, if it is 3 or 4 then no one else needs to make a save.
Gabbi call Mr Baily over "Sir do you think you could look after poor Lola's body I'm not sure it'll safe out there. Who know how many others he was working with." Then she'll follow the others looking for candle stick or something similar she could use in a fight if need be.
