Yohoho and a bottle of Rep! (subSPUF Skull and Shackles)

Game Master Rynjin

Arrrrrrr, walk the plank, scallywag and all that. This be pirates and so do ye be.

Impositions:

Disgraceful Impositions:

Yes, Sir!: For the next hour, the PCs’ crew completes any mundane tasks they’re assigned in half the expected time. This typically relates to Craft and Profession (sailor) checks made to prepare, maintain, or repair the ship, and cannot be applied to combat or more complex deeds like crafting magic items. Costs 2 Disrepute.

Captain’s Orders!: As a standard action, a PC on board her ship can cast fog cloud, heroism, make whole, quench, or whispering wind with a caster level equal to her character level. Costs 5 Disrepute.

Walk the Plank!: The PCs may sacrifice one crew member or prisoner to grant themselves and their crew one of two bonuses: either a +2 bonus on all skill checks or a +2 bonus on attack rolls. These bonuses only apply while on board the PCs’ ship and last until either the next day or when the captain leaves the ship. If a sacrificed character is returned to life, the PCs and their crew members take a –2 penalty on both skill checks and attack rolls for 1 day. Costs 5 Disrepute.

Get Up, You Dogs!: Every PC and allied character on the deck of the PCs’ ship is affected as per the spell cure light wounds, as if cast by a cleric of the PCs’ average party level. This imposition can only be used once per week. Costs 10 Disrepute.

Despicable Impositions:

5: Lashings!: Your ship's speed doubles for 1 day.

5: Shiver Me Timbers!: While on board their ship, the PCs and their entire crew can reroll initiative or roll initiative in what would otherwise be a surprise round. The benefit of this imposition can be used immediately, but only once per week.

10: Besmara’s Blessings!: As a standard action, a PC on board her ship can cast animate rope, control water, remove curse, remove disease, or water breathing with a caster level equal to her character level.

10: Dead Men Tell No Tales!: While on board their ship, the PCs can use this imposition to automatically confirm a threatened critical hit.

These are Phase Spiders. They can Etheral Jaunt at will as easily as others walk or fly, and are poisonous. They're generally hit and run fighters, poisoning the target and then fleeing back to the Ethereal.

Just a note for the future, Aid Another is actually a Standard action. Not feasible in combat.

yeah, forgot that. How does it take that long for thinking?

You boys ever see Phase Spiders before? They can move between ours and the ethereal plane like an evening stroll, where you end up meeting a dashing rake who sweeps you off of your feet but you wake up the next morning with your entire purse missing, so you track down the son-of-a-b#~%& and have your servants hang him by his eyesockets to remind everyone who you are.

Oh, and they're poisonous. Watch out captain.

That was a free action.

"I hate spiders."

Male Orc Bloodrager (Primalist) 9 | Dead, essentially.

Jrahk scoffs at Gremory. "Jrahk can handle a little poison."

He looks around. "Any ideas, Ixrul?"

Daliya?

Sorry, I got floored by a stomach bug. No, I'm not usually this pathetic with illnesses. It's been a fun few weeks.

With a grunt Daliya shifted, warped and changed...growing bigger and heavier, her skin becoming more and more like stone, her huge his fists becoming heavy and craggy as she grew into a towering stone giant. With a breath she moved into a stance, readying herself to pummel any of the creatures that managed to come close to her.

Standard Action Wild Shape, Swift Action Dragon Stance.

Daliya feels the rafters close in on her somewhat, but can move without great difficulty.

The Phase Spiders reappear, surrounding Jrahk and Ace.

Vs Jrahk: 2d20 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5

Vs Ace: 2d20 ⇒ (4, 18) = 22

The first one to attack is hit by Jrahk, and dies before it even has a chance to scream, broken body launched backwards into a pew.

The second hits the less-than-nimble Jrahk, and one manages to lay a fang on Ace as well.

2d6 + 7 ⇒ (5, 2) + 7 = 14

2d6 + 7 ⇒ (6, 6) + 7 = 19

2d20 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5

They both attempt to latch on to their victims, but fail.

And as quickly as they appeared, they vanish again.

Jrahk take 13 damage and make me a DC 20 Fort save, and Ace take 19 and make me a DC 18.

You're up!

It didn't look that bad. Just to clarify, is the poison still in effect? I have scrolls for that.

The poison is not. It had an 8 round duration and required two consecutive saves, which he got on the 4th (6th) save.

Sandra healbots away.

So, uh, what effect can counteract the -CON status?

Anything that removes ability damage. Restoration, lesser Restoration, etc. Daliya has one of the two prepared I think.

For convenience, lets just redo that bit from before, but instead of the wand, it'll be scrolls

Other kind of healbot: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5

More Scroll: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Why would you use a consumable you can't get back without expenditure rather than a freely renewable resource?

Male Orc Bloodrager (Primalist) 9 | Dead, essentially.

Was about to say. Dailya can just cast it twice and save you some cash.

I'd save them for when nobody present has the spell prepared, and the ability damage is too debilitating to ignore.

I was asked to. Besides, 25 gp ain't that big a deal. I'll un-use them. When are we going to realistically be without Daliya or sandra?

Well, the other downside is it takes me three rounds to use Lesser Restoration...we ever need it fast, your scrolls will be better.

With a sustained murmur and several gestures, Daliya built up her mystical resources and poured them into Jrahk.

Lesser Restoration (Jrahk): 1d4 ⇒ 3

She then reached out a second time to heal Ace.

Lesser Restoration (Ace): 1d4 ⇒ 1
