Again the cleric draws on his faith (all the while wishing he had of spent less time running around the Acadamae Miltiiari in full armour or doing forced marches, and more time working on his ability to use his personality to outwardly express his faith).

May the light cleanse and bring you Her peace...

What the hey, Selia?? I let Lleidr stand around scratching his butt for a few posts and all of a sudden Hakak is your go-to threatening guy!? If he had a beer, Lleidr would definitely go sit in the corner and cry into it...

Jubrayl will assist Hakak and Nicholae in making the dead... deader while Selia talks to Korovus.

Koruvus: Erylium found me and favored me by remaking me. She prayed hard and her god made me stronger than ever. Then I can kill with 3 weapons! And, I patrol her empire real good. Where is she, anyways?

She mutters to Hakak, "If he numbers townsfolk, and not just adventurers like us, amongst his kills, I would like you to have your way. Otherwise, I am inclined to follow Lleidr's lead with this."

She turns back to the others, "Koruvus, answer us, and let your fate be written."

Paladin time, everybody stop having fun

Jubrayl strides quickly over to where the others are discussing Koruvus, a grim and serious look on his face.

No. Absolutely not. Murder has a set punishment and there are procedures to be followed. He has surrendered and will be subject to proper justice. I want the little toad to answer for his crimes as much as any of you but there is a right way and a wrong way to do this.

Koruvus holds up 3 fingers: I've defended my lady by killing more than this many. They were greedy little traitors from Thistletop, not longshanks like you. They were spies for their druid, and deserved to die.

I took the liberty of making PER checks ... no sounds from the southern passage.

Ranger (guide) 8| AC 18(22) | HP 86/86

"I agree with Jubrayl. He surrendered, we can't just summarily execute him. It shouldn't take to long to escort him back to town."

As Ned said, with a recommendation that they'd better start holding trials for the goblins right away otherwise the prison will be stuffed full of them at this rate

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc Barbarian/3 HP 20/37

Now a full prison is either a sign of a good police force or a bad executioner. Which ones do we want to be?

In these goblins cases I think it makes us the later. We are being clever about ending combats without bloodshed (quite proud of us on that score) but we are then palming the problems off on the town later because we don't want to deal with the 'niceties' of offing these goblins. I am hoping they hurry up and do the job we should have and hang the whole psychopathic bunch - if they end up with too many and they break free we've essentially moved a bunch within our defences... Iomadae help us if they attempt a prison break during an attack on the town

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Orc Barbarian/3 HP 20/37

And you have now just given the GM a perfect plot from whence to kill us all, thanks you jerk. If you're not knocking on wood right now so help me, you'll need Iomadae just to find your pieces.

Is it bad that I just did an out-of-character in character?

Well played!

"He has confessed to killing those of his kind, but not to killing any of the civilized races. I agree with you, Jubrayl, and think that keeping him contained is the right course of action. We do need to make sure the townsfolk should know that this goblin is not directly guilty of any crimes against Sandpoint, both during his incarceration, and during any trial that may happen."

I have to say, this is the first Pen'n'Paper game I've played where morality has played an important role! Here's to not solving everything with violence! *ducks from the expected, frustrated, Hakak flailing*

Lleidr, I'll make sure to include you in more intimidating ventures if you'd like! A crazy halfling willing to be thrown at enemies is definitely something to be feared!

[Morning, Catacombs, 5th Day After Goblin Raid]

By the time the town guard took custody of Koruvus, and after Hemlock repeatedly reassured the citizens about evil goblins lurking underneath the town, the day is mostly spent. By day’s end, a clearly strained Sheriff Hemlock took you all aside and whispered, “First thing tomorrow, get back in there and make sure you check out every cranny and nook in that place for more of his kin.”

After a quick breakfast at the Rusty Dragon, a crowd of onlookers watches as you all march across town and into the Glassworks once more. A couple of hours of cautious exploration on your prior path brings you back to where you left.

So, your remaining choices are a door at the end of a southern passage, as well as an eastern branch leading to a spiraling stair.

Whichever of the items we decide to sell, I think we've got a pretty good connection with Savah Bevaniky and her armory.

If there is anything to split, Lleidr will put most of his share back into group supplies.

Down in the catacombs...

Lleidr will start with checking out the stairs, more than anything to see if it's another dead end like the other staircase, but also for suspicious noises, tracks, etc.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

He'll then move down to the door and do his regular things.

Perception: Listen: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Perception: Trapfinding: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

The stairs wind down a short distance before being blocked by rubble. There is a faint sound, like a distant muted howl of a hound. A short scribbled message scrawled on the wall to your right flares suddenly and then disappears.

There's no sound nor sign of anything dangerous from the southern door.

Sure, more than 1 person can try the Spellcraft check. You can also take 20, if I'm not mistaken.

Lleidr is unable to read the script, and it doesn't reappear. While you're studying it, there's a faint sound, almost like a whisper, coming from the rubble.
