The dead priest cocks its head as if understanding what Morgrym says and upon spying the symbol of Morgrym, seems to go into a rage..............

Is that the huecuva's whole turn, nightdeath?

Sovereign Court

Chronicle Sheets GM Busy At Work........

lol. Yes. The templates put that in.

Frowning at his bow as Morgrym suggests what might hurt the undead priest, Naravash shrugs then focuses intently on the creature before snapping off a shot.

Shortbow (favored target, pbs, firing into melee): 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 7 - 4 = 16for: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Male Human (Sarkorin Kellid) Summoner 3, AC 14/10/14, Hp 21/21, Init +0, Frt+1,Rfx+0,Wil+4

Hearing the shouts about how hard the creature is to hurt, Caelus mutters "Wait here!" to their charges, then hurries forward, cantrip already forming in his mind. He squeezes through the corwd in the door and stands off, hurling a blob of acid at the undead priest.

ranged touch into melee: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (3) - 4 = -1

But in his effort to not hit his colleagues, he sends it several feet over the creature's head.

Oynar, meanwhile, attempts to tear into the creature with tooth and claw:

bite attack with flank: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
claw attack 1 with flank: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
claw attack 2 with flank: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

bite damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Doing everything I said 2 posts back.

Red Stick (gets up if he has to and) attempts to trip the undead priest with his whip again.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Two sixes in a row! Okay, it's a sign...

GM Rolls: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Hopping over Red's Whip, it charges towards Morgrym but is tripped by a surprising new opponent. Horgus!!! Holding on to his trousers as he uses an expensive looking belt wrapped around the creature's legs.

"What? This here is a genuine Brine Drake's skin. Blessed too.... Aren't you gonna hit it?"

GM Rolls: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 271d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
GM Rolls: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 231d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Twin claws strike out at Morgrym with only one hitting.

According to the map, no one's moved. lol. Morgrym, I'll need a DC 15 Fort save vs Disease.

M Human

In addition to the trip attempt on the last page? Replayed here. I'm a little confused about exactly where we are in the combat turns.

Round 2

"Blast!" says Sarthonn as his sword bounces off of the dead priest.

"What about fire, Morgrym?" Sarthonn asks. "Do you think that will hurt it?"

Not waiting for a response, Sarthonn tries to trip the Priest.

Trip attempt: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

I thought Morgrym's response was all in the same turn.

Morgrym and Red's Aoos.

Oynar's bite is devastating but the creature manages to heave him off with a grunt losing more undead flesh but not able to penatrate past its thick hide as the movement throws off Razul' aim as well.

Caelus took a hand off of his longspear to cast last turn, so I assumed no AoO. If that is NOT the case:

Long spear? Yes that's counts.

Caleus's stab and Morgrym's strike bounces off the creature's think hide and Morgrym feels abit nauseous but ignores it for the moment.

Razul's hearty swings misses as the Huecuva enraged beyond reason struggles and attempts to claw Horgus to ribbons, as Horgus screams in agony before starting to convulse as the claws do their work. In defiance, the barely breathing Horgus spits in its face.

A green orb splashes against its face burning it, causing it to roar in pain. It shifts to the side, just avoiding a chop from Red as his falchion hits the floor, not creasing it at all.

Caelus' acid spashes in exactly the same place as Aravashinal's aim, as baleful eyes swing towards the two. Oynar tears at its undead flesh with total abandon but its eyes still glare hatefully at the party amidst Horgus pained moans.

Seeing his weapons useless against the creature, Sarthonn pulls out his Holy Symbol and shows it to the creature.

"Take that, foul creature!" he taunts. That seemed to work for Morgrym. It seems more useful than breaking my sword on it, Sarthonn thinks.

It seems unlikely that Sarthonn's action will be very useful but he doesn't really have anything else safe to do right now.

"Heh. Was worth it wasn't it?"
Horgus coughs out before closing his eyes to rest, his wounds still raw and oozing black blood.

The temple on the other hand still seems oppresive. Not the feeling Morgrym would expect from a temple of Torag. The dead priest doesn't seem to have an effect on the temple itself at all.

Horgus is still diseased.

Naravash shakes his head as Morgrym ministers to Horgus, slipping his bow over his shoulder he begins to drag the undead priest's body from the small chapel. "Looks like we might be taking a break for a bit. Horgus needs attention and I'd rather not share the space with a twice-dead corpse if at all possible."

Razul looks to the dead priest, who apparently sought redemption in death, and frowns. He looks around for some sort of forge, knowing Torag only as a god of such. If it's not lit, he'll use his tinderbox to start a fire and drag the dead priest into it, stoking it so it burns long enough to consume the body. He stands awkwardly by the burning corpse and mutters, "I hope Torag forgives you. Hope you find peace, dwarf."

M Dwarf Cleric [Forgemaster] of Torag 2; AC 18/10/18, Hp 17/17, Init +0, Frt+5 (+7 poison),Rfx+0,Wil+7 (+9 charm/compulsion); +2 spells/SLAs; Perc+4

Morgrym nods at Naravash, Aye, sounds like the best plan for now. We should have enough food for a day or so. I'll try to consecrate the temple again, as well as take care of Horgus and meself.

retired

At the mention of consecrating the chapel, Naravash nods in understanding. "I'd want to do the same if this place had been dedicated to Iomedae. If there's anything I can do to help, Morgrym, you've but to ask it."

Male Human (Sarkorin Kellid) Summoner 3, AC 14/10/14, Hp 21/21, Init +0, Frt+1,Rfx+0,Wil+4

Caelus Looks rather helplessly at the wounded Horgus, then calls Oynar to his side.

"We'll take a quick look around outside, make sure nothing else is creeping up on the temple.

The pair will exit the temple, glance down the tunnel a moment, and, if it's clear, do a lap around the outside of the temple. CAelus will cast light on his spear.
