Both Sarthonn and Morgrym can only watch the little girl pass on, her pain diminished by her passing. Her name? Aelia.
Both of you exchange grim glances, too much death. However there maybe one more whom you can snatch from Death's grasping claws.
Morgrym Steelhammer
Morgrym spits into the dirt. Bowing over the little one he makes the mark of Torag.
Torag, give this little one the rest she deserves, bless her soul, and watch over all that have passed here on their way to the Boneyard.
Steeling himself Morgrym heads back to try and save one more soul from an untimely death.
Sarthonn
Sarthonn closes the eyes of the girl, Aelia after she passes away. Folding her hands over her chest, he finds the locket in her hands.
He says, "A life snuffed out far too early. You will not be forgotten. By Iomedae, I will find a way to avenge your death." He puts the locket around his neck. I will keep this with me to never forget why we must continue to fight the demons.
After making the sign of Iomedae over his head, he follows the dwarf who responded to his call.
Caelus Oklir
Caelus looks up from the smaller stones he has been moving, getting ready to help move the larger piece. "If any of you can help the injured, we have a woman with a broken leg yonder," he jerks his head over his shoulder, indicating the direction that he and Naravash came from, "and, unfortunately, I have not the magic or the wit to help her much. But first, lets see if we can move this...I'm not overly blessed with muscles, either, but I'll surely lend a hand."
strength, aid another: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Sarthonn
Sarthonn moves to an open area of the slab and braces himself against it. "I am ready when everybody else is. Pay attention when we start lifting, we don't want this to fall on anybody else."
Do we want Sarthonn to make the roll or go for Aid Another? I think he and Red Stick have the same strength bonus.

nah I'm also a descriptive GM, The fun comes when all of you interact with each other.
Together with purpose, all of you put your will towards moving the slab and removing the injured elf from beneath.
Sarthonn, Calus, Red and Naravash with a heave manages to lift the slab high enough for Morgrym to pull the elf out.
The elf mutters a swift thank you before lasping into unconsiousness. His injuries are horrific and its by the grace of the gods that he survives. His eyes have being gourged out, multiple claw marks are on him, open wounds leaking vital life fluids are rended open and his fingers seem to have being shattered.
Sarthonn
Sarthonn looks around the group until he sees the dwarf who helped him with Aelia.
He says to the dwarf, "You responded to my call for a healer or medic. Can you do anything to help this elf? I would hate to see another die so needlessly."
Razul Al'Takhir
"I will see to the woman with the broken leg; I think the dwarf is my better at healing. Let him see to this elf." Razul turns and walks over to where the woman with the broken leg lies waiting. He kneels next to her, examining her critically. "I have healing, but this may hurt. Bite down on this." He pulls a stout piece of wood from his pocket and places it in her mouth. He then pulls what looks like a small jar of mud and blood mixed: the soil of the World Wound. He rubs the foul smelling concoction on her leg, then places his hands on it and murmurs words in a tongue filled with clicks and whistles and whispering. Casting cure light wounds While doing this, he pulls the leg straight to ensure the bone knits properly. The woman lets out a muffled cry of pain and nearly bites through the wood. But when Razul straightens up, her leg is unbroken, if still covered in the muddy blood.
"You may walk on it now. Be sure to rest much, and avoid fleeing in terror until it is stronger."
Naravash Avernus
Naravash accompanies Razul as he tends to Anevia. Before he start his minstrations, Naravash kneels down on the opposite side of the woman, "Anevia? I found someone who can help with that leg of yours." He nods to the strangely mannered half-elf on her other side. He takes Anevia's hand in his own and pats it reassuringly, "You'll be alright, Anevia. You'll be alright."
It's not clear whether his words are meant more to calm her or to convince himself. He winces at Anevia's cry as the bone is set.
nightdeath
|
The bone is set but a with loud crack and to the horror of all present, it shatters once again but this time you see a a gash appear as if the leg bones had being shattered by an invisible hand. A soft glow tinged with a bit of red oozes out of the wound and is then ejected violently back into Razul, knocking him down on his rump.
Sorry Cure Light Wounds isn't that powerful and she must be lame lol. Have returned CLW back to you abject in a more explosive way.
Anevia? She's fainted clean away as her leg rebreaks itself. The shock being too much to bear.
Caelus Oklir
Caelus pales noticably as Anevia's leg re-breaks, but, beyond a slight shudder, does not react any further. he sighs, leaning on his spear, before squinting around into the gloom.
"Well, when we've seen to the wounded, I would venture the next step would be finding our way out. And, "he continues, his voice dropping to a murmer for his fellow adveturering-types, "hoping that a city still stands above us."
"Give me a moment, and let me call on a little help. Don't be alarmed at what arrives next...". He seasts himself, cross-legged, closing his eyes and sending his senses beyond the material planes, reaching out to Oynar.
Taking 1 minute - if the time is available - to summon his Eidolon.
After a minute, a mote of dim golden light appears at about eye level in front of the seated Kellid. Over a few seconds, it expands to a roughly spehrical cloud, accompanied by a faint sound of wind and distant, tinkling chimes. Then it abruptly caolesces, with a soft rushing sound, into a golden hound-like creature, which turns in a brief circle before bowing its long head at Caelus's feet.
The summoner's eyes open, and he smiles at the creature, affectionately patting its head.
"Friends, this is my companion Oynar."
Naravash Avernus
"My name's Naravash. If you want explanations, you're welcome to share why you look like a half-elf but hiss like a cat." Shaking his head at the man's rudeness, Naravash rises then and walks back over to the larger group, explaining the situation with Anevia once he arrives. As Caelus finishes his ritual, he turns around and starts at the appearance of a silvery cat-wolf, his eyes darting up questioningly to Caelus'. "Uhh- hello... metal wolfcat?"
Razul Al'Takhir
Razul looks unshaken by the tiefling's abrupt manner, but then shakes his head sheepishly. "I... apologize. I have not been among people for many moons. I returned to the city just this day, to seek... It is unimportant. I am more used to beasts and demons than men." Seeing the sudden appearance of the silver hound, his eyes go wide. "You summon things from elsewhere? Can you summon something to dig us free from this hole?"
"Red Stick" Reegar
Reegar grabs the stick around his neck and kisses it. "What? Cursed wounds? What sort of cave-in is this?"
He shakes his head as he turns around. "Demonic cave-in, of course."
He takes a moment to calm down. Focusing his concentration, he responds, "All right, who is alive here? I'm Red Stick, there's Aravashnial, Caelus, Horgus, Razul, Morgrym, Naravash, Anevia, um... Oynar... and you, sir, I don't think I've heard your name." addressing Sarthonn.
Continuing, he adds, "Most of us are in good shape, thankfully, but we will have to transport Aravashnial and Anevia out of here ourselves. That's nine..." casting a superstitious eye toward Oynar, "Um, ten of us. Is there anyone else alive here?"
Calling out loudly, Red Stick shouts, "Is there anyone else alive here? Anyone who needs to be freed?"
Morgrym Steelhammer
Looking over Aravashniel Morgrym says a light prayer to Torag.
Spontaneously replace animate rope with cure light wounds to heal Aravashniel's wounds as best as possible
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
I apologize elf, but I don't think me magic will be able to return your eyesight for some time yet, not with yer peepers ripped out as they are. Now allow me to help ye stand up, and let us walk to another injured person.
Morgrym helps Aravashniel up tenderly to avoid opening his wounds once again. They slowly stumble thier way over to Anevia.
Anevia was yer name? I'm Morgrym Steelhammer and I'll be lookin' at your leg real quick like.
Morgrym helps Aravashniel sit down before looking over Anevia's leg thoroughly, doing his best to avoid injuring the woman.

3 surviors. 1 loud, 1 unconsious and another grimacing in pain but in danger of dying.
And the 6 of you.
It doesn't look like anything else is alive here but there could be supplies that you could use.
"It seems that I must now appeal to all of you to escort me back home or what remains of it. I'll see all of you handsomely rewarded if you do so. I am Horgus Gwem, an important personage of this city."
Morgrym Steelhammer
Horgus ye say? I'm sure me companions won't object to escortin' ye to yer home. I will suggest you be more quiet in case there be anythin' down here that ain't too friendly. And I will ask that ye help Aravashniel and Anevia somewhat seein' as they be injured and you don't look like you would last a minute in a fight.
Morgrym makes sure that Aravashniel and Anevia are comfortable before looking about the chamber.
Sarthonn
Sarthonn agrees, "Finding a way back to the city should be the next order of business. Let's hope the city still stands."
He helps to search for other survivors or anything that might be useful. Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
While he is searching, Sarthonn approaches Morgrym and Razul. "Thank you for your help with the wounded today. I am Sarthonn, spear of the Crusade. Pleased to make your acquaintance," with that, he extends a hand to each of them.
Morgrym Steelhammer
Morgrym grasps Sarthonn's hand warmly.
Morgrym, Forgemaster o' Torag. Wish I coulda met ya in better circumstances. I did na bring cloth with me, we'll need that to make sure Aravashnial's eyes don't start bleeding. And if we can find some stuff to create a makeshift crutch for Anevia they should be safe enough to move.
nightdeath

The search yields:
4 Silver Scales
2 Potions
A Cold Iron Hammer Head
46 arrows
Shortbow with 4 arrows and a pack with Anevia's name stitched on it.
Broken wagon with one wheel
Heal Kit (4 charges)
2 scrolls
The other 3 survivors seemed exhausted as even the loud Horgus is silent, his eyes drooping. The other 2? Still unconsious.
Morgrym Steelhammer
The club might work, it certainly seems sturdy enough, though I don't think its quite long enough for her. Hmm...
Morgrym muses, stroking is beard and looking around for larger bits of wood or debris that will make a fair crutch.
Morgrym starts mumbling to himself and fumbling around with some loose debris nearby to create a makeshift crutch.
Sarthonn
Sarthonn looks at the collection of things they have found. Can you describe the wagon more? Are we talking about a Radio Flyer doll wagon or something that would fit behind a horse?
"Let's see that Anevia gets her things back when she wakes up, " says Sarthonn. "Can anybody figure out what might be in these bottles or written on the scrolls?"
Then he continues "Outside that, I agree that moving the wounded is something we will need to do. Morgrym and Razul, do they appear to be movable? I would hate to hurt them more by accident."
Morgrym Steelhammer
Aye lad, they can be moved, though I'd like a crutch fer Anevia to avoid putting any weight on her leg. Aravashniel can move about on his own, but with his eyesight gone I'd rather he have a helper. Per'aps Horgus could do it.
Morgrym moves away from Anevia and Aravashniel and looks thoughtfully at the potions and scrolls.
Sadly I didna' think that I'd be looking at magic today, so if no one else can cast detect magic we'll have to wait until I pray to Torag.
Razul Al'Takhir

Go ahead. Let's just keep this in the discussion thread. lol
We're taking about a one horse type wagon. Not very big but in a bad shape.
4 Silver Scales (glows)
2 Potions (glows)
A Cold Iron Hammer Head (glows)
46 arrows
Shortbow with 4 arrows and a pack with Anevia's name stitched on it.
Broken wagon with one wheel
Heal Kit (4 charges)
2 scrolls (glows)
Sarthonn
Sarthonn speaks up after Navarash talks "I could use a few of the arrows, but if anybody is primarily an archer they would use them more efficiently than I."
After that, Sarthonn tries to make himself useful in preparing the group to move.
Morgrym Steelhammer
Morgrym chuckles while making sure Aravashniel and Anevia are comfortable.
I tried to use a shortbow once. Durned thing nearly took off me fingers. That's why when I have to fight at range I use ol' CK here he says patting the crossbow slung from his backpack.
We should look for a safer place to stay when we do start moving, perhaps a smaller cave with one exit, just to let the injured rest a bit.

The party manages to find a sturdy building that managed to retain its structual integrity and made camp there.
The area other than rubble is mostly inhabitated. The remaining survivors currently are all resting exhausted, even Horgus, his normally caustic comments muted.
You have managed to further scrounged up two more items, a backpack and a handaxe.
Sarthonn
I think you mean *un*inhabited? The impression I have is that it's only us down here.
Sarthonn calls out to the scout, "Do you need any help scouting? Two of us can cover more area than one."
nightdeath
|
Well Typo there. Auto correct doesn't help here. Treat it as inhabited with dead bodies...Unmoving dead bodies. lol
Naravash Avernus
As the group settles in with the wounded, Naravash introduces himself to the other survivors. He doesn't actively interject into any conversation that happens over the hours they rest, but he also doesn't shy away from responding to questions directed at him either. He nods gratefully to Razul for the food as the simple meal is passed around.
Once the group seems ready to move again, he nods to 'Red Stick' and offers, "I can scout with you. These eyes are good in the dark." He looks at Anevia and Aravashnial next then amends, "Or if either of you need help walking, I could do that instead. If we run into trouble down here I'd prefer to rely on my bow anyway."
"Red Stick" Reegar
Red Stick reaches out to shake Naravash's hand. "I'd be honored to explore with you, Naravash. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure when I first laid eyes on you, but you showed true heart in helping everyone you could back there. Let's see if we can find a way out."
Morgrym Steelhammer
Morgrym nods with Red Stick's words, Aye lad, ye showed us ye got somethin' deeper than yer demony exterior. If we're to be explorin' I'll stay back here with the wounded and make sure they are fit when we travel.
Morgrym turns to Razul, belching loudly then saying, And thank ye for the food. Mayhaps we can eat on the surface before too long, I don't like the way the city started looking when we fell.
Morgrym cracks his fingers and his back, If anyone needs their weapons or armor repaired, don't leave it for too long, I can help get everything in ship-shape again.
