Hey all, please let me know if I am being TOO impulsive. My weekly Pen and Paper group tends to rush in and flail away yelling "EVIL! EVIL" without much non-combat RP, so I may have built up certain tendencies.

I'm slightly colorblind so I changed my dot to gray. Couldn't differentiate between the white and yellow very well. Kallik, your dot looks the same as the enemies to me sooo....sorry in advance. :-P

I do not read as evil so I should be good.

Brinn I do not think you are too impulsive. But that might be due to the people I play at a table with. I have a thing for the fools that rush in and Kallik will have her moments as well once her confidence goes up. Practice makes better RP along with familiarity of coarse. We do not currently know each others PCs behavior. In my opinion you are doing fine.

As a brief aside, arguing with a high-ranking member of the Inquisition would be roughly equivalent to arguing with the FBI or Secret Service. I never tell PCs what to do, but I figured a bit of context would be useful.

Not 100% sure if sheltered Kallik would be aware of this.

Over the weekend, I'm planning on putting the following information in the Campaign Info (so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle):

--Basic timeline of events in the campaign

--NPCs met, probably in chronological order

--Phrases, idioms and words (especially in other languages) that get used often (this can be used as a reference)

Any potentially useful info I'm missing that I should extract from our gameplay thread?

The only other things I can think of right now are what usually get forgotten in my PnP game, other than NPC names, are key info and clues the NPCs might have provided, and place names, but I have no problem keeping notes myself as well.

I had a campaign IRL with some friends and my character's brother was killed. So...my dude lost it and went looking for a fight.

I quickly found myself fighting a golem and managed to grant the GM a TPK. Its one of my best gaming memories.

Play your character based of who it is. :-D

My roommate told me to ask him if he bought his tickets when he looked at Kallik. Because this gun show is not free.

I'm guessing most of us are less available due to Labor Day weekend right now, so if I don't see any new posts by mid-day Monday or so I'll do a "let's get our momentum going again" post.

will do. It may take a couple of days due to heading back to work and having a massive work load. I will get it asap though

It just occurred to me that running a jerk NPC among friends (as with my previous play by email experience) is much different than running a jerk NPC among people I have never met in person. With that in mind, please let me know if any of my NPCs ever cross the line from "grr, my character hates this guy" to "wow I'm getting sick of this campaign".

Also, on a completely unrelated note, the obsidian that the temple is made out of, along with any (rare) armor or weapons you might see, is different than "regular" obsidian as listed on the prd. Holy obsidian (or one might call it "true" obsidian) is more on par with steel (definitely doesn't have the fragile quality).

I haven't actually puts stats to anything like that, but for now, suffice to say obsidian isn't awful.
