Heya - just posting to get a discussion going on how we find each other since we are all fairly different.
Some ideas:
- A scuffle/misunderstanding between one or more of us and city officials (also what sort of laws or ordinances would we be aware of?)
- We team up to help someone in distress
- Tavern fight!
I also liked the idea of having met on the road, if that suits your fancy.

Actually, one minor organizational thing - looks like the spoiler tags got a little funky between your background on your bloodline info.

Ibinu that is fine by me. Classes should not be obvious all the time. Kallik is not going to explain to every random person that she losses control either and that is a very hard thing to notice about a person.
I have never played a bloodrager and I have limited experience with a barbarian. Do they make good unarmed combatants? I have kind of always wanted to try the unarmed style of combat.

I am by no means a full optimizer or anything like that, but it strikes me that to have a functional unarmed build, it would probably require either A) a bloodline that grants claws or something similar, or B) dipping into something like brawler or monk (otherwise, burning a feat on improved unarmed strike when you have access to martial weapons isn't ideal)

1) I'll be doing a final inspection of profiles tonight. I'll let each of you know any changes I'd like to see, or a simple OK.
2) Can I get a yea/nay on this idea: how about we start about half a day's journey away from Hearth, and you can RP the "helping innocents" situation? It would be natural enough to travel in a loose group (not just the four of you) for protection, and maybe some of you were traveling together for a longer period of time (like Kallik and Ibinu were considering at one point)
There are a lot of options with unarmed fighting styles. I will admit, it is much easier to do with one of those classes or as a fighter with the bonus feats.
As a bloodrager, depending on what you wish to do with it, you may consider the "Blood Conduit" Archetype. Allows you to get imp unarmed for free at level one, but you lose out on the increased movement.

Just noticed you're a barbarian. There's a rage power that lets you have Imp Unarmed Strike for free, but only while you are raging. Brawler
Yes it would work better if I had different bloodlines. I may go for the fighting with weapons normally and unarmed at times. Not sure I gotta look at the feat option. I may just stick with the weapons. Not sure. I just kind of like the visual is all.
Given that we have no direct healing type in the group at present, I will adjust my spell selection....just in case...
Ibinu, could you add rounds of rage (remaining/total) into your tag line, in the same spot Brinn has Bardic Performance rounds?

Kallik Sisa, one other minor formatting issue in your profile: under "Magical Abilities", it looks like your 2 italics tags have the the "/" in the wrong place. Not a pressing issue by any means, just when you have a chance.
It looks like everyone pretty much implied "yes" to the "helping innocents before actually arriving in town" scenario, so unless I hear any objections tomorrow, that is more or less how I'm going to plan to open the campaign tomorrow night.
Be thinking about how long you've been traveling with other other PCs (an hour ago, several days, several weeks; and the answer could be different for different PCs)

I am rather partial to the group. Everyone has a well rounded character. I was curious if leaders up would be an option in later levels should we feel we need other mechanical skills like a rouge or dedicated healer?

Hmm, a good question. For now, I'd like to see how the group operates. If you (or someone else in the party) are still interested closer to level 7, we can revisit.
My basic idea of where all of you are coming from (you are all coming from the east, traveling west to Hearth)
--Kallik: leaving East Tribe, joined the temple road in between Light and the Eastern Front
--Brinn: your village is somewhere east of the Mucklands, so you joined the temple road coming from the south
--Inam: your village was in between Hearth and Light, maybe slightly closer to Light
--Ibinu: I imagine you joined the temple-road in about the same spot Kallik did. Maybe you were thinking about going to the Eastern Front and decided against it.
It was mentioned that Oreads eat rocks. Are there specific kinds? Do they need to have anything done to them? Can she eat other things like plants or animals? And is she the only Oread in the caravan?
Oh right I said I would bring it back up. How does the group feel about romance coming up in a game? Most people at least desire love and romantic companionship on some level.
And are there any taboo or trigger subjects for anyone so that we know to avoid something?
And a reminder that you mentioned you were going to be adding info on 1) Dress styles (besides oreads)

3) Servants of the gods, heralds

I figure its a personal taste thing with the rocks - some might like them "salted" or "plain", but nothing actually needs to be done to them. You can eat plants/animals like any other elen, but you can always fall back on being a lithovore during hard times.
There is one other oread on the caravan - a guard. He seems very comfortable with the other ifrit guards, has a city accent, and dresses like an ifrit. He has not approached you or acknowledged your presence.

Can I just mention for two feats, Iron Will and familiar bond we can all have a chicken telling us our quests! And I rather like the idea but feats are precious.
My roommates are deeply amused at the tale of the holy chicken. One of them wanted to know if you were going for the Mighty Battle Cock. The other asked what your character was smoking when she saw a chicken with a greatsword. Kinda made me think of Chicken Boo

I was JUST listening to Lindsey Stirling on one of my Pandora Stations when you posted this. I think I am going to enjoy this group.

Brilliant because I can get off topic sometimes. I usually try to keep it game relevant, sorta of.
In one of the games I am in we had a long debate about theme songs for each character when I mentioned having a belt having magic mouth put on it. Evil party and that player is making a belt of skulls of the people he kills. Great fun was had with that conversation.
The original recruitment thread is where I'm catching up on requested world info (just did clothing!). Once I get done with the current stuff, we can keep individual requests to these discussion threads.
Eventually, I'll be updating Campaign Info, otherwise this stuff would be impossible to find.
As for the holy chicken, a buddy of mine bought me the familiar folio as a gift and I'v been having a blast with it. Originally I was going to go with a slug but the chicken won out in the end.
I was talking the character concept over with my wife and she about died at the idea of the chicken.

I wanted to share an interesting question posed by Osric in the other discussion thread, and my answer:
I notice that you've been using Italian for speaking in non-common. Are there preferred languages that you would like mapped for forum translations. I've seen some games that use spoiler tags to denote languages that some party members might not have. For instance:
"Mae hwn yn brawf, prawf os mynnwch."

Thanks for the question! As you've noticed, Ifrit is definitely Italian and it's pretty common for ifrits to throw in certain words of their own language, even when having a conversation in Common.
High Ifrit is Latin. I'm planning on using Vietnamese for Undine. Benthic would best be represented with Simplified Chinese. I wanted to do a Native American language for Oread, but let's keep it simple with something that's on Google translations - Zulu. Sedime is Afrikaans. Irish for Sylph. Welsh for Maker Script.
Arabic for Geni. Amharic for Eleme.
Oh, and this is by no means a requirement. It's fine to just write "In Sylph" before a spoiler.
