Still here but Nasira is out till the end of the month, Girth is out sick, and no word from the others.. I can advance to you fighting the worldworm but thought you might all want to do something/anything before you are thrown in combat. Any time know you could stumble upon its lair or it.

Traveling as you are through the wasteland of the scorched earth you feel in your bones that you are approaching some monumental fight. The fight the few days before with the vrocks may have been just a taste of what is coming before you. The fact that very little is known about a worldwyrm is enough to know that it is extremely dangerous. However you are the heroes who have retaken Drezen. You are the heroes who saved Kenebras. You are the Knights of the 5th Crusade. You are mythic. If anyone is able to take on such a creature it is you.

The first hour of searching for the creature yields little results but the group has high spirits. Shortly into the second hour just before Zeriax is about to recast his barkskin there is the barest hint of the sun being dimmed.

Only Morgrym is able to catch sight of the dragon as it plummets down to attack. His sharp eyes and quick reflexes allow him to rage as he draws his trusty weapon.

The worldwyrm dives down to narrow the distance to only a 100ft. Its maw extended wide open as it prepares to discharge its potent breath weapon.

The party prepares for the oncoming wrath of the tainted wyrm as Garith tries to reduce the physical damage everyone may take. Nasira protects those from acid. So'rien joins the preparations as he hastes everyone. Maelchar casts lead blades ready to deal more damage. Zeriax fires his bow as the arrow takes a deadly course...

I don't guess this is 'inhaled' is it? Morgrym is immune to stuff that is inhaled so that's why I ask due to the fact he doesn't have to breathe. Gonna roll anyway because I'm just not sure.

A moment later he raises an eyebrow to himself, wondering what the heck he just said.


Morgrym this is an inhaled fog so you would be immune. I did not think to even post that. Feel free to make some sense now and act normally.

With the odd actions of the others, Morgrym decides to escape the cloud and passes by Zeriax through the west end before gathering himself.

Trying to withdraw to where I avoid an AoO. I figure he's got a 10' reach at minimum since he's so stinking big. I started at O 21, moved to N 20, N 19, N 18, M 18, L 18, and then K 18. Figure it best to step far away before moving northward. Here's hoping he doesn't have a reach of 25'. :P

As the situation looks dire for the good guys, "C'MON, BEAST! I'M TELLIN' YA NOW, I'M GONNA KILL YA! YA BETTER KILL ME FIRST, STUPID!"

Gonna activate the Armor of the Pious(swift) if possible. If you can't do a swift with a full round action, then will wait until next round.

Nasira withstands the effect of the noxious breath, only to be shocked at the feeling of the holy sword striking her.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 She thinks a spell has been cast on her companions and is trying to determine what it was from its effects.

Her actions may depend on what she thinks is happening.


Nasir’s you know the breath weapon is causing a confusion effect similar to the spell. You could try and dispel it but as long as you remain in the cloud you would have to save again. If you got rid of th cloud then at least that would prevent further checks although those confused would remain confused until the d6 rounds are over.

Maelchar feels the fog breathe seep into his very skin but it seems not to affect him at all. As such he moves out of the cloud to see what is going on. On the ground to the north is MOrgrym facing off against the worldwyrm seemingly by himself. Trying to free the group of the noxious cloud Maelchar summons energy from within and casts windwall having it snake over the party.

Effectively removing 9-5ft sections of the fog cloud and replacing it with wind wall. Zeriax you will have to move out of the area of windwall to shoot your arrows but as long as you stay within it you are all protected from the fog breath.

Asia sees her c pains falter after the noxious cloud and tries to remove the confusion effects.

Okay, just for clarity sake, how many times did I get hit because I'm just not sure. I'll go with 3. I'm going with the ones that don't say "missed" by it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Morgrym, I believe the Worldwyrm has to deal with concealment, but has blind-fight, so it rolls the miss chance twice. The three "missed" entries missed due to your concealment. The others hit AC 29, 31, and 32, which your character sheet indicates would all be hits, I think. Hope that helps.

Assaulted by both Maelchar and Morgrym the worldwyrm opens his mouth once more. Instead of noxious fumes coming forth the dragon sucks in a huge amount of air pulling everything nearby inside of it as well.

Morgrym drops his weapon as he lays into the worldwyrm with his claws. The demon dragon spawn reacts unfavorably to the claws as they try to rip into its flesh. Yet the dragon was made of stern stuff as only 1 of the attacks pierced its resilient hide.

Maelchar pulls forth his trusty longsword as he also tries to attack the dragon that held them in its maw. Yet even with an almost superhuman effort the creature does not feel the blow. 27 does not hit.

Sir Gartih sees his friends in danger and calls upon the power that was bestowed upon him with the wardstone shard. Moving behind the dragon avoiding an attack as he does so he launches into it landing 3 solid blows with Radiance. no surge needed
