Gameplay thread open and linked. Let's keep it clean and IC, discussion here in discussion.
You all can do introductory posts like Jeb has done using the info from your backstories and connections and street lore rolls, or you can wait for more of a cue from me.
I'm just opening gameplay since there was already potential for some good IC banter developing, but the actual adventuring will start Mon morning.
I'll be online though so if there's anything you want to do in town post away.
Lucia and Priscilla can RP approaching the Temple for sponsorship to go to the Valley of the Shrines, or assume that has already taken place.
Andrek and Ares can RP getting their assignment from the Temple or assume that has already taken place.
Any or all of them can RP going to the Sell-Sword Tavern to recruit muscle and meeting Jeb.
Tarvelin could also be at the tavern, or sign on as guide some other way.
Wilfort could show up at the Temple asking about his Magister!

It's not bad. My phone sucks for posting with the web browser. This way if i have a few minutes between rushes at work i can at least read three new posts easily if not jot down a quick reply.

Yeah that was me. Sorry, I just put Tarvelin as my default so that doesn't happen again.
Also if I'm having a conversation with an NPC, I tend to respond via the reply button. I find it makes it easier to read for others. I understand if you want to keep the board clean though.
Yeah I think you're right, using the reply button is the right thing for a scene like this. It's a case by case thing.

Once the brothers get to the temple the others can migrate there and we'll be ready to start adventuring.

Cool, I think Lucia's on the same page. That will work well. The priest can tell the brothers about the mission right away, then you guys come back with the hired muscle (and crazy gnome.)

Sorry guys. Pretty much right after I made my last post, my dad tried to run away from home. He then proceeded to wander our neighborhood and attack me. His condition got a lot worse real fast. Long story short, he was taken to the hospital for evaluation and hopefully will get this sorted out soon. In the mean time, I'm here. He's currently convinced I'm a spy or something so he doesn't want me to come visit him. I'll be able to post, I'll just drop down to check the posts a couple times a day and maybe post once or twice for probably the next week or so. Maybe more but I'd rather set the expectations lower.
There's no rush man. RL obviously comes first.
I didn't bring up posting rate during recruitment as a hard requirement, only to find people who wanted to be actively engaged and participating over the course of the long term campaign.
Obviously life happens, and every day or even every week is not going t be the same.
This game is a leisure activity, not a responsibility, bottom line.
Hope your dad's health gets better.
In the meantime there's nothing stopping the rest of you from posting away.

No worries. It'll actually be a bit of a relief not having to watch him every minute for the next couple of days. Plus I have always found writing relaxing, so I'm excited to get it off my mind. I'll be busy because with him out of the house I finally have a chance to deep clean his room which has been needing to be done. I hope to have the whole house done by Saturday.

So let's just take it as a given that if something in particular isn't happening to keep him occupied, Wilfort will sometimes chatter non-stop, stream of conscious, verbal vomit of whatever disjointed thoughts come to mind and immediately leave by his mouth.
Maybe his own thoughts can't stand it in that mind and take any escape route they can find.

Do you keep track of XP? Or should we?
I originally asked the players to do it because these adventures are written with some individual XP awards like AD&D had, but I don't think that works well in PF so I've done away with most of it.
You should still keep an XP tracker in your profile but I have been putting one under the campaign info tab too.
