WE ARE 1 YEAR INTO THIS GAME!!!

I want top thank Cronax for running a tight game with some cool battles, interesting NPCs and a steady hand on the tiller.

Thanks to Chumani, Gideon and Rennoc, my fellow slave-mates, for sticking through since we were captives at Grak' Pool all those months ago.

Thanks to Rahger, Hamailli and Lucian for adding a new layer to the story.

Highlights for me:

* Our second battle ever, ambushing our pursuers in a dank cave, when we finally knew we might be on our own.

* Daishata facing down a chariot in the desert sands and living to tell the tale.

* Rennoc turning into a plant

* Aiming for, politicking and losing the battle for "leadership" of the group. Rennoc and Daishata sure do but heads from time to time.

* The battle at the drug den. Very visual and quite a challenge.

* Our big ultimate battle with a cast of thousands, last minute betrayals and finally seeing Nadar get his just desserts. Thaxos is definitely a problematic dude. ;P

It's been a blast so far folks, and here's to more awesome gaming!!!

Mine was exciting between a 90 year old grandmother and my 5 weeks old niece and a bunch of other kids here.
I have unexpectedly very bad internet access here. On mobile as well as on any PC, didn´t bring my own laptop, bad mistake. GM posts are unlikely before i´m back at home unfortunately.
Please excuse that.

So, since Cronax is a real good GM and this campaign was also running 1 year already, i think we can agree on not hastily jumping the boat, but just patiently wait and hope everything is allright^^

I agree, I'll do my best to check back once a day or so and see what happens.

I hope its just the normal life stuff and nothing major that is keeping him a way.

Same. I had been quiet mostly to see updates, but just piping in to say that I am very interested in continuing. This has been quite fun!

Yeah it´s pretty difficult to find a GM for Dark Sun and then even find such a good one!

I have some DS resources, but totally lack the deeper knowledge and familiarity Cronax seems to have, even though i read some novels.
Mainly the newer ones. I guess when i have a chance i´ll try to get a hold on the old ones.

What i do have is the new stuff from Timothy Brown, but that´s quite different. It would also be a better mesh with the technologist guide and Paizo high-tech things, what i do find funny though.

Agreed, I'm willing to wait, the new year may have cause some disturbance. Looking forward to continuing this wonderful campaign

Really glad to see that your are back Cronax.

To be honest I would have put money on this game being dead, but I'm thrilled that I was wrong and will have more faith in the future. :-D

I thought it gone too. Glad you are back Cronax. I too have too little faith. Much like Daishata...

Wow. I was pretty certain he would show up again eventually.
Reasons:
-He ran a very dedicated campaign for over a year with us.
-His knowledge of DS and Pathfinder shows he´s deeply into it.

Those two points are the markers that divide the ones who vanish from the ones who return. Sometimes RL comes and calls you and you just can´t find the time/energy to post for some time, sometimes that can be several months.

I've PMed the other 3 to no response. The way I see it, there are three options:

1. We continue waiting.
2. We forget they exist.
3. I bot them. (I'm not too keen on this)
4. You four bot them by committee.

Thoughts?

Yep, I've searched around a bit over the past two weeks - I don't see any action from another alias that is/was playing in another PbP.

I hope Cronax is ok. I'm ok (if bummed) about the game folding, but I worry about real actual human beings...

Last i heard from him was when i offered him a place in a campaign i want to start sometime soonish, but he declinced.
No idea what´s going on.

@OSW - I 100% agree I just hope its that RL has gotten busy and not gone bad.
