Game Master
GM Netherpongo
Looking to start a game, 3-4th level, no more than 5 players. Looking for people able to post at least once a day.
Please submit below.
I should make my decision by December 12th, if not sooner.
Helping out with maps would be helpful as well.
Pathfinder Maps, Pathfinder Accessories Subscriber; Starfinder Charter Superscriber
I'd like to play, and would be happy to help with maps.
I, Oma "Deadeye" Jorrer hereby submit my request to join your campaign.
Dennis, can you provide a charater please?
Level 3 Druid...I got a slug (it doesn't talk...yet).

Sorry, I was going to double check character levels when I get home from work, but I believe Mongo DePon, my siegebreaker fighter, is level 3 (I need to update his profile to reflect GM credits). I have at least one other option in tier, I think, but I'll have to double check chronicles when I get home.
Okay.
We have a druid and a gunslinger so far.
Can I get a little bit about your guy's background.
Level 4 wizard here, ready and willing!
Would you accept a fifth level?
Yoshi is a tall and wide man from Tien. His nose is squashed and his ears look as if someone went to town on them a long time ago. Still, he moves with a lithe grace and the rolling gait of a long time sailor who is now on land.
I want a 3-4th level submissions.

Years of being stuck gaming in various environments where creativity was actively discouraged have severely damaged my once-spectacular imagination (if only somebody'd told me then that 'no gaming is better than bad gaming').
Some specific questions would help.

I have a short bio in the profile page for my character. Basically a day laborer that earned himself a field commission when he stepped up to defend a society agent. Not much of a researcher himself, but the society sends him along to keep the more...learned agents safe.
Mechanically, he's built to do bullrush/overrun to get get behind the first enemy line and make a mess with his power-attacking longsword. I can update his statblock tonight, but the level one stats are still there. Anything else you'd like to know?
If you're just doing 3-4 I can bring either a 3rd level Unchained Summoner (who's done PbP before) or a brand new 3rd level Psychic that hasn't been played, yet.
I'll update their profiles and check back in tonight.
I'd be interested. Need to check my character levels. Likely a 4th level Samsaran Occultist.
How is the psychic 3rd level without being played.
Most of my characters get a head start with GM credit.
Just shy of GMing 300 sessions.

If we already have an Occultist I'll probably bring my Summoner, then.

Got home and checked, and Mongo is not in tier. He's still one game away from 3. Sorry. I have a level 4 watersinger bard I could play instead.
Here's the bard. Bio is in his profile page.
lvl 3 cleric here...just need to update gear after last mission...
Nefreet wrote: I'll update their profiles and check back in tonight. Here's my Unchained Summoner:
Player Name: Eric Bennett (aka Nefreet)
Character Name: Sesska
PFS ID#: 66548-34
Faction: Scarab Sages
XP Track: Normal
Day Job: None
Short description: Evariel is one of those elves.
Slightly longer description: Evariel is of the opinion that elves, almost by definition, are better than other races. As a wizard, he is also of the opinion that magic is better than other professions. But he believes that others just need to be convinced of this, and treats situations as teachable moments.
I have a question for the GM. I see that you're currently involved in over two dozen PbPs. It's been my experience that once someone surpasses 3, their posting rate drastically declines and their rate of burnout drastically increases.
How do you manage your time to prevent that from happening?

Someone's PbP comfort level is an entirely personal preference, and you'll see a wide range of them. I like to keep mine at four or five; a friend of mine can barely keep up with one, and says two is too many; I've seen someone claim that if they're in fewer than ~25 they get bored. You do you; let him worry about him.
1 person marked this as a favorite.

I think I will bow out.
Good luck!

Some specific questions would help. I'd still like some specific questions to help me develop and share my background.
1. Motivations for joining PFS.
2. Goals for character\
stuff like that.
So it looks like we have
Angrboda Fossey 3rd level druid
Evarel: 4th level necromancer
Hironakei: 3rd level spiritualist
Daffy Johns:4th levle bard
Goran: 3rd level cleric
Is that everyone?>
will be there shortly....
RECRUITMENT THREAD IS CLOSED

Wow, such mage...

When no one was looking, Evariel raised 40 skeletons.
She raised forty skeletons. That's as many as four tens.
And that's terrible.
if you need a martial i can bring in a lvl 3 swashbuckler
You certainly may if you wish - but this is fine as is. :)
Granted, it would be nice if the Bard or Gunslinger or someone had some skill in trap-springing.
'fraid none of that from me.
