Yeah, the magus really needs his magical oomph.

Magus make great bad guys but as a PC class they require guesswork on which fight to use them. A bit like an old style wizard.

By the way D Day for my home internet is 27 September but I do have a landline now.

I've stopped reading all the game threads because my opportunities for internet time are limited now my son and wife are in school.

But on the positive side, I did get some Live Action Roleplay all Sunday. They even remembered my old character from 11 years ago. The weather went a bit nasty towards the end but playing a zombie or ghoul was fun. Chasing girls as a slaver even better.

Then last night I joined a group and played Shadowrun for the first time. It was great and the bonus was we played in a game shop that one of the lads owns. Great fun!

How is everyone else?

I'll be away this weekend for a convention. Anuqa will most likely continue with magic missiles (he gets 3 per use), assuming that is effective against the scarecrows.

Now that I'm coming out of my funk, Darkness should be rising again. But the holidays are such a bad time for it.

I was managing to keep things going with a couple of freelance assignments, albeit slower than usual.

NOT sexual, it is the action of one person lovingly (and dramatically) attacking another with a hug. A glomp is often predatory and lies somewhere in the grey area between a caring embrace, and a flying leap to tackle someone.

I guess it could be slimy.

work is awful, both in busy-ness and a pretty terrible work environment. I'm trying to prepare for an invasion of family over the holidays, and a family feud started by one brother and his wife because they didn't like the other brother's girlfriend, now fiance, who is also coming for the holidays.

Hi Folks

I've recommended you guys for a possible replacement in thereal thom's Curse of the Crimson Throne game. He is a good DM and the game's pace fits with this one too. One of the main stays has been Neil Spicer and his cleric Istas but he needs to take a indefinite break. The other two players are Wellard and Dabbler and maybe some of you know them a little already.

Thanks for the link and recommendation, FW. I started CotCT as a cleric, but we stopped the game after the second book. I'll take a look.

I'd be interested, and a cleric is fine by me, if they want me.

Amazing our rolls are so rubbish, glad I used Tybalt to make CH roll. :P

As for a potential game, well I've 3 in the pipeline (as well as maybe running another). So I'm a bit torn.

FW, do you need another player? As after thinking about it, I'm sure I have the time and availability for another game. I've not played CotCT, but heard the general premise and story.

I'm sorry for favoriting this post, but I laugh every time I scroll past it. I'm laughing with you, though. Really. We've all been there.

I put the loot and its gp value into the beginning of Leandro's profile under a "Pending Loot Division" spoiler, so we won't lose track of it.

Does anyone want the magical stuff? I suppose the paladin, bard and cleric would benefit most. Andrzej is not really interested.

Charisma would add to Leandro's smite damage, lay on hands, saving throws, bonus spells, spell DC, and skills. Yeah, the headband would be pretty nice for the paladin if it's not better used elsewhere.

Leandro's been using the silver longsword, which has come in very handy. He doesn't need the MW one here, or anything else beyond the headband.

Ooh, lucky tabletop players. I can't remember the last time I played or ran tabletop games. I miss them. PBP and PBS (Skype) aren't the same.

I'm gonna have to skip/cancel this Thursday's face-to-face game, since I've had such little time to prep so far & that's without any work.
