Here is what you know from Dr. Savarre:
"The land of Souraigne is a vast, festering swamp with many secrets. Most civilized folk live outside the swamp, but there are some forsaken communities within it. It was within one of those communities that the skull was discovered. It was promptly seized by a necromancer known as Monerre. Many learned men with whom I correspond were interested in this item, and disappointed to see where it now resides. Monerre has taken residence in a necropolis on a island within that swamp where, presumably, he studies the relic's power. If this Gilbraith is nearly in possession of the skull, then he must have traveled to Souraigne himself."
You believe, based on Tiffana's visions (which haven't led you wrong so far) that Gilbraith is seeking out the artifacts related to the Grey Gates on Tetslin's behalf. The vision was that Gilbraith was on the trail of this one in particular. You were hoping to beat him to it and take possession of the Skull by whatever means necessary to keep it out of Tetslin's hands, since whatever he wants with it cannot be good.

That's fine, the holidays combined with the terrible weather in the US. Thanks for the information, I couldn't find it.
So everyone, sounds like we need to find out what we can about Monerre and then storm the Necropolis - and wrest the skull from Monerre's hands. Especially since he'd be unlikely to sell it to us, especially if we are in his new powerbase. (We can discuss this in IC)

As he knocks upon the mission door, the bard contemplates the poverty and misery of the town - not the overt danger and death of the lycanthrope infestation, but equally deadly.
It's interesting to note that the pitiful city of Port d'Elhour became considerably more lycanthrope-infested when you lot came to town ;)

Angalia is still living :) They left her behind to look after Nathaniel (who was stricken with ghoul fever), Tiffana (who is overcome with anxiety due to her uncontrollable and upsetting visions), and Erfan (who went completely insane). Urfan is with you too :) The entire lot of retired PCs were left with the Sisters of Charity in Richemulot. We can look at working Angalia back into the mix in the near future. Let me think about how best to accomplish that.

I would love having Angalia back. Reuniting her with the party is going to take some suspension of disbelief, but then we are used to that with PbPs.
In this case, the party made incredible haste to depart Richemulot and sprinted headlong through the Mists (guided by knowledgeable Vistani) to reach Souraigne.
In terms of Angalia catching up to the rest of them, we can probably come up with something vaguely plausible, if relying on a remarkable dose of coincidence and good fortune.
You can level to 5. In the next few days I will PM you with my thoughts on bringing you back in, although if any other players have an epiphany, feel free :)
Also, you may notice that the pace has slowed. These days, my posting time is more limited than it used to be. I like running the game, but I do not update it at anywhere near the rate I used to.

One suggestion for having Angalia rejoin us.

So potions, how about:
1st Level Cleric
2nd Level Cleric
Not sure we need any CLW since we have 2-3 wands already.
And remember we have those items that we previously found, that didn't get shared out...

I haven't noticed a party pool so far. Treasure has been rare. Remember the garlic, wolvesbane etc if she has some tucked away.
Can we get invisibility vs undead potions? I'll check Andrzej for funds.

EDIT: 60gp here. So Andrzej could toss that into the collective pot, he doesn't need it.

Res can add Hide from Undead to his spell list. At CL 5, he can protect 5 of the 6 (soon to be 7) party members with one spell. Also, at 10 minutes/level that will last 50 minutes. He'll just prepare at least two spells to cover everybody.
Also, Res only has 66 gold to contribute.
As far as scrolls that Res has currently they are:
Calm Emotions
Delay Poison
Remove blindness/deafness
Remove disease
Remove Fear
Lesser Restoration
Speak with Dead (2)
Also a wand of divine favor (23 charges) plus someone has Andrzej's CLW wand, can't remember if its Eliva or I?
For a second level potion, how about Gentle Repose in case someone dies and we want to preserve them until we can find help?

Leandro |

I have these notes for Leandro under 'pending loot division':
A masterwork flute made of gold. The instrument is worth easily 500 gp.
A masterwork longsword (315 gp)
A headband of alluring charisma +2 (4000 gp)
A set of bracers of the glib entertainer (7900 gp)
A pouch containing 180 gp. (180 gp)
He personally has 102 gp.

Thanks, Leandro! I knew there was treasure floating around somewhere.
Port d'Elhour is a big enough city to sell anything you lot might be hanging onto.
If you need to retcon and say "When we came to town, we totally sold that widget we found", I am okay with that.

I believe there was also a Verdant Bracelet somewhere? Unless someone took that.
Then the headband really should be used? Either to help Res with his channels, Leandro with extra saves/ lay-on-hands, or Tybalt with whatever - or whomever else wants it.
But we really shouldn't have it hanging around when it could be the difference between life and death.

Thank goodness for thread searches. I couldn't remember why no one was already using the headband of alluring charisma. It's because it was Tiffana's. Assuming she doesn't need it at the moment, I think Res can use it in case we go against some undead. More channels and higher DC for the win. Ok with everyone else?
As far as the Verdant Bracelet. That is not something that Res, in character, would use.

Andrzej Plamen |

Yep. And I hope you all had a good one too.
Family stuff aside the high point was doing over 500 points of damage (over the course of a long fight) to a gnome barbarian, taking him eventually to -24 and seeing him survive!
cheers

I may have to go slightly incommunicado for a few days. My PGCE is coming to an end and I have to finish up a couple of essays, write a reflective diary, do one more observation and attend an induction at the local nick where I'm going to be teaching offenders the errors of their grammatical ways. It should not make too much difference, but just to warn you in case I vanish.
