Tricksy GM!
Dear all,
I've broken all my most fondly held beliefs about communication but the time has come.
I need to take a long break from the boards - as I'm sure has been obvious to everyone but me for a while now.
Work is stupidly busy, and that I can deal with. What I can't deal with is the current hand being dealt my son. Gaming here was a necessary outlet and relaxation but become another source of guilt and pressure so I need to just accept that I can't do this at the moment.
Wishing everyone well, hoping to see you all again at some point in the future and thank you all for a marvelous four years of fun and friendship.

As it stands, I plan on pushing ahead while the PCs are in the hospital wing. Once you return up above, we can have you drop off Angalia and Tiffana. Contemplating adding a 5th, otherwise you will be down to 4.
These things happen in PbPs. You continue on as PCs must come and go. It's the nature of the beast. As long as the rest of you are still in, I'm planning to continue.

I am still despite the loss of one of my favourite roleplayers. Rev I shall miss gaming with you again but that's life.
For me my 16 month break was a necessary evil and I came back re-energised . So I completely understand that family comes first and hope you return when you are ready.

Indeed. I've been looking forward to this one.
A) Pathfinder is all about resource management (uses per day and so on), so it can be interesting to challenge PCs with one more combat than they think they can handle in a day. This tends to be when players are at their most resourceful.
B) It's fun doing this in the bath chamber with a haunt that you previously only succeeded in suppressing. Had you permanently put the hypothermic man to rest last time around, you wouldn't be dealing with him again now. The fact that these rooms were also haunted with slamming doors only makes it more fun.
C) You've heard so much about the doctor, it would be a shame not to pay a visit.

I just want to make sure anything you found is accounted for:
120 gp
a non-magical ring worth 200 gp
1 scroll calm emotions
1 scroll lesser restoration
2 scrolls speak with dead
It's a bit meager, but I couldn't very well have you looting the Sisters' hospital, either. I'll throw in some extra in the near future.
Now for XP:
Blood on the Walls haunt - 800
Hypothermic Man - 1600
Various rats - 1470
Poltergeist - 600
Animated straitjacket - 1200
Sister Jacinthe - 1200
Rogue - 800
Donzago - 600
Ambush wererats - 2800
The doctor - 2400
Story - 1530
= 15,000 / 6 = 2500 xp each
That should bring you up to 9,200.
Tybalt, you can note a starting XP of 9,200 (I tend to keep everyone at the same level).
As a reminder, we are using the Fast XP chart, so level 5 is at 10,000.

Oh, I used to always play dwarves, especially at Warhammer. They are so great to paint too. But I haven't actually played them for years, favouring elves (& humans) over them.
Tybalt has his armour in his backpack & his shield upon his back, an ornate hardwood shield with a beautiful heraldic design. His silver whip is in his back-pack, but rapier upon his hip.
Good thing Tybalt has Saving Finale.

Just to forewarn everyone, I am effectively on holiday from Sunday for ten days. This is because I run a mini-con for a growing group of friends from the area next weekend - all in a local pub on the seafront, with food and drink on tap.
Aside from finishing maps for my 7 hour scenario, there are numerous last minute emails and this time it looks like one of my fellow DMs may have some serious real life issues. So I could be finishing another 4 hour adventure tout de suite! Hence my Pathfinder time will be devoted to that rather than being on the boards.
Afterwards it generally takes me a few days to recover and get the play-by-post bug again so look for me coming from the east by 14th March (this only happens twice a year by the way). Please NPC my character when necessary, I doubt I’ll have time to help with that or so my ever-so-patient wife has told me.

Wow, yet another 20 for a skill roll. This hasn't boded too well for my combat or saves I suppose. :P
But still it's tons better than rubbish rolls all the time. (looks at Treppa with commiserations)

Well something made Andrezj & Leandro make a save (probably a Spell-like effect), since Leandro "probably" failed - Tybalt used the spell (& an immediate action) to re-roll.
What the spell was I have no clue.
Andrzej is pantomiming because silence is still up.

Sorry, I do find a preponderance of my posts can be too verbose and unclear - in my attempt to make some interesting prose.
When the confusion is over you will love what is happening. Made me smile. And Tybalt is cool and fun to read.
